Lemon Tree Cottage is a comfy spot just a minute’s walk from the hospital and close to the lake and CBD. You can chill out in the bright living room, cook in the full kitchen, and you can get a good night’s sleep in air-conditioned bedrooms. Take peaceful walks by the lake or you can relax in the garden. And the best part? For every night you stay, we donate $10 to help treat the awesome NICU staff to lunch at the hospital.
Lemon Tree Cottage is located 200m to the Hospital and has easy access onto the main links heading North or South

The open-plan lounge is the perfect place to relax and unwind after a busy day. It features a 55 inch smart TV with access to all your favorite streaming apps—plus complimentary Netflix for guests to enjoy. Whether you're settling in for movie night or keeping the kids entertained, the space is set up for comfort and fun.
We've included a selection of board games for both adults and children, as well as some toys to keep younger guests happy.
Adjacent to the lounge is a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to cook at home, including an oven, stove, microwave, fridge, and all the essential cookware and utensils. Coffee lovers will appreciate the convenient coffee machine to kick-start the day.
The dining area sits just off the kitchen and opens directly onto a large deck, creating a seamless indoor-outdoor flow. The deck features an outdoor dining table—perfect for alfresco meals, evening drinks, or enjoying a peaceful morning coffee in the fresh air.
For families, a high chair is available on request to make mealtimes more convenient.
This area also has aircon/heatpump to keep you comfortable during all seasons.
Tea, coffee and Ecostore laundry, dishwashing & Cleaning products are supplied.

You have full access to the entire home and gardens.

Acércate a Prodrive Golf y Parque acuático Waterworld si buscas unas vacaciones activas, aunque para apreciar la belleza natural de la región lo mejor es visitar Lago Rotoroa o Memorial Park (parque). Petra and I decided that being work optional before we were 50 sounded like a great idea. So, when we sold our business last year, we were able to achieve that dream. That sounds great but after a bit of travel, a lot of sleeping in and watching netflix we decided we should be a bit more productive. That's how Lemon Tree Cottage came about. We purchased a house at auction situated 3 minutes from Waikato Hospital and went about renovating it. Petra renovated like she was moving in so we blew the budget by 20%. The end result however is something we believe you will enjoy! When we aren’t doing hosting and all that it involves we like to explore the Waikato on our Mountain Bikes and travelling overseas.
Por qué escogió este alojamiento
We enjoy the Lakes suburb because of its easy access to the CBD, hospital, lake and roading that gets you out of Hamilton fairly quickly. Getting to the airport easily is also a bonus. From a personal point of view we actually own 3 houses on this street with a view to one day moving into one of them.
Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial
Apart from being close to the Hospital and Lake our cottage is a short drive (or walk to be fair) to the CBD. What makes it special is our limited addition Dr Seuss artwork in the house......well at least that's what we think!
