The Victoria is stunning. A beautifully decorated retreat. Very clean and comfortable. The location is incredible. The circular staircase is not for everyone. It took some getting used to. The listing is accurate but our group didn’t read it close enough and assumed there was a kitchen. There are so many amazing spots to eat in Elora so you don’t need it but we did arrive with food ready to cook. We hope to come back again. It is really a beautiful and special place.

It wasn’t clear that there was no kitchen. I misunderstood and thought the 3rd floor spiral staircase was to an “extra” kitchenette and sitting room I thought the ground floor was where the main kitchen was. We are an older group and always bring the breakfast and go out for dinner. I think the description on the unit should be more detailed. Otherwise, the bedrooms and bathrooms were beautiful.

We visited Elora for a wedding. Our stay could only be described as positive/excellent from start to finish. Our host was quick to respond to our questions leading up to our arrival. Upon approach it was easy to see the pride that the owner takes in the property. The gardens out front were beautiful and the place inside was immaculate. Each room was thoughtfully decorated and outfitted with everything we needed for our stay. Plenty of towels, lovely bedding and even small details such as an iron and a steamer...essentials for a wedding. The rooms are spacious and would be perfect for 3 couples, although there are lots of stairs to navigate, so maybe not the best for young children or seniors. (We thought the spiral staircase was quite fun and added to the charm of the house). The property is perfectly located for a wedding at Elora Mills. We also had some free time and loved the proximity to coffee shops, restaurants and shopping. We loved our stay and would book this property again!
