Welcome to the Grandview Retreat — a private boutique farmstay escape at the Baw Baw River Retreat in beautiful Noojee, Victoria.
Perched above the surrounding paddocks and overlooking the peaceful countryside, the Grandview Retreat has become a favourite for couples, weekend escapes, special occasions, and relaxing nature-based getaways. Unwind in the outdoor spa beneath the stars, enjoy the warmth of the fire pit, and wake to the sounds of the Toorongo River and friendly farm animals nearby.
Located just minutes from the heart of Noojee and within easy reach of Mt Baw Baw, Toorongo Falls, and the iconic Noojee Trestle Bridge, Grandview combines modern comfort with a genuine country atmosphere.

One of the most unique parts of the experience is the shared animal interaction area. Guests may see alpacas, sheep and chickens during their stay. Guests are welcome to enjoy the animal area and riverside spaces while respecting signage and supervising children.
The retreat is positioned within a dual-level building, with the separately hosted Riverside Retreat located below. Both retreats are fully self-contained with separate entrances and private outdoor spaces.

What we love most is how much the area changes throughout the seasons. Winter brings snow adventures at Mount Baw Baw, misty mornings, and fire pit weather, while the warmer months are perfect for river exploring, hiking, wildlife spotting, and outdoor dining.
Some of our favourite local spots include Toorongo Falls, the historic Noojee Trestle Bridge, and the relaxed atmosphere of the Noojee Hotel. The area still feels authentic and naturally beautiful, which is becoming harder to find.
