Great place to stay

The appartment offers lots of space and a fully equipped kitchen. Several restaurants and cafes are nearby (we recommend the one in the same building), the old port is just a short walk away.Camille met us at our arrival, showed us around the appartment and also had a recommendation concerning eating dinner around the port.

Beautiful apartment in a great location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Camille’s beautiful apartment. There was lots of room and a full kitchen in case you want to cook. The location was excellent, allowing us to walk anywhere we wanted to go.

Marseille June 2025

The apartment was large, airy, clean and comfortable. The kitchen was equipped with everything you'd need for a few weeks' stay, and clean bath towels etc were provided. Every room had a ventilator fan which more than made up for the lack of A/C. Wifi worked quite well.Camille was a very helpful and accommodating host and communicating with him was extremely easy. Thanks to him I had a wonderful stay in a city I visited for the first time. Highly recommend it!

Amazing Stay!

My wife and I stayed in Marseille for five nights, and we loved our time in Camille's home. He made the check-in/check-out process extremely easy, and was very responsive in his communication. His home is in a very great location, and it was easy to get from there to all of the places we wanted to visit during our trip. I would highly recommend - thanks Camille!

Charming Marseille Apartment near the port

Camille was very easy to communicate with and was accommodating with arrival and departure times. The apartment is 3 story walk up that is cozy, clean and exactly as pictured in the listing. The location was very convenient to the old port, Le Panier, and many dining and shopping options.

Except for the stairs it was excellent. Easy to contact and great location. The little restaurant across the road is not to be missed. L’imprévu, Say Hi to Christien and Sandra. You won’t be disappointed.

A perfect location to explore and enjoy Marseille. A really lovely apartment -perfect for our first holiday abroad … yes, there are stairs but a few minutes on leaving the apartment you are standing in the beautiful old port.. springboard to local bars and restaurants, boat trips and hill climbs to amazingly sited churches.. spending a delightful evening watching the sunset at the entrance to the harbour.. it was so easy with a lovely ‘home’ to return to..

Fantastic Location

This is a clean well presented property with good facilities and super host. Beds are clean and comfortable as is the kitchen and bathroom. The host is very accomodating and communication is fantastic. Willing to help with advice in general about visting the area. The main area of the port is 5 min walk. Nice view out of the sitting room window. 3rd floor so nice fresh breeze when windows are open. Wifi is good and TV has usual apps. Nice clean towels provided.Double bed is good in main bed and teh sofa bed is perfect for one adult or 2 small kids.. Dont hesitate to book. Shops close by for stocking up.We stayed in late June 2023.

The bathroom smelled horribly of sewage (not at check in, but only after the toilet had first been flushed). The owner’s response was subpar- telling us this was typical of the building pipes and telling us we needed to keep flushing the pipes and demeaningly telling us to remember to flush the toilet. He said to keep the window open. We had to keep pouring bleach into the pipes to try to contain the odor during our stay, but then we just smelled bleach and sewage. He owner was unimpressed with our concern. The first night we couldn’t shower due to the noxious odor and had to brush our teeth in the kitchen sink. We were afraid we would not be able to find another place to stay at the last minute and would not get our money back, as the owner seemed to think this was not a big deal. In addition, the main door lock to the apartment building was broken and duct-taped open, leaving the concern of safety. Pros: near the port, reasonable rooms and kitchen.

Beau séjour dans ce très sympathique appartement, très propre et lumineux. Cuisine spacieuse avec tous les ustensiles et vaisselle nécessaire pour préparer les repas.Chambre spacieuse aussi ainsi que le salon. Salle de bain tout à fait fonctionnelle. On se sent comme chez soi!Par ailleurs, cet appartement est vraiment bien situé à quelques pas du Vieux Port de Marseille et à proximité des jolies ruelles du Panier. Nombreux restaurants et cafés au pied de l'immeuble. Camille, l'hôte qui m'a accueilli est très arrangeant et sympathique, pas du tout intrusif. Vous avez deviné, c'est un lieu idéal pour séjourner plusieurs jours à Marseille. Une amélioration: une climatisation ou un système de ventilation plus performant serait un plus surtout en période de canicule.
