Second stay at this VRBO

Overall impression of this property is awesome. Clean and comfortable. The bed is a bit hard and lumpy, not sure how you could make this better. We put one of our own batteries in the clock. Would be awesome to have a radio for some entertainment as the TV doesn't work so that you can watch something. We'll come back foresure......thank you again .

Wonderful Getaway!

My friend and I booked this cabin for a weekend escape, to do some reading and writing, and we had a great time. The cabin was comfortable and clean (lots of warm blankets provided!) and any instructions were clear. We ended up having a surprisingly fun time with some of the board games supplied. 10/10 would rent again!

Comfortable Surroundings

This was our first time renting at the St. Malo Cabins. We were not disappointed. The cabin was easy to locate, very clean and comfortable inside. Well equipped inside with all that you would need in the kitchen etc. We brought our own pillows and bath towels so I can't comment on the supplied ones. The only thing that we would recommend is an outside porch light so if we come back to the cabin after dark it would be safer. The stairs could use some reinforcing, I am handicaped so I noticed they could be safer. From the first time I contacted the property manager until we left the cabin this morning our experience was wonderful. Thank you, and we'll be back !

Fantasic getaway with some issues

We booked the cabin for our anniversary, to get out of the city for a weekend and just spend some time together away from everything. It was amazing! Immediately when the door open we were greeted with a warm and cozy place. The issue that we had with it was the detail to the cleanliness. Dust on the light fixtures and cobwebs from the ceiling. One of the windows isn't seated properly so it created a bit of a draft a certain times in the night, nothing too serious but the window couldn't be locked because of it. We spent most of our time reading and making a fire. It was really great! I feel that if the couple of issues get tidied up it would have been a 5/5 for both of us. Overall I think we will be back again.

Cozy stay

Overall great stay. Property manager was easy to contact and responded to any questions I had right away. It was the perfect cozy winter getaway. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful and calm little place.

I give a 5 🌟 to this property. It was really clean , beautiful, and even had AC. Although there are lots of other cabins around, it was really quiet. My family and I had a really great time there. It's actually more beautiful than it looks in the pictures. Whenever I go back to St Malo, I will definitely rent again.

Beautiful, well-appointed cottage

Lovely little cottage, perfect for a weekend retreat. Working interior fireplace, and wood supplied. Comfy couches. Great TV. Clean, clean, clean. This is not a wilderness experience to be sure, as the cottage is located on a small street with other cottages in view. But for my needs, it was perfection. Bonnie was an excellent host and communicator. Answered every question promptly. Went beyond the call of duty. When I couldn't find matches to light the fire, she called back immediately and solved the problem.

We also provide you with a personal fire pit (we provide the wood) and a bbq.
