About this property
Private Woodsy escape perfect for couples and small families
Breezy Woods Cabin is the perfect choice for a quiet and relaxing getaway. This beautiful log home is secluded in the heart of nature and is surrounded by greenery for optimal privacy. The master bedroom is larger than usual and includes an alcove with a Spa tub. The living room is bright with a vaulted ceiling and large west facing gable windows. With wood floors, many windows, cathedral ceilings, natural privacy and so much more, let Breezy Woods Cabin be your vacation escape!
Breezy Woods is a short drive to Gatlinburg (8.7mi), Pigeon Forge (10mi), the Glades Art District (2.7mi), the Smoky Mountains Sugarlands Visitor Entrance (11.5mi), and the Gatlinburg Community Center (5.4mi). These areas feature an array of restaurants, local boutiques, breweries/wineries, and kids’ activities.
The back deck features ample seating to sip your morning coffee or enjoy an evening soak in the private hot tub. You can also gather around the recently expanded firepit for s’mores. This mountain retreat is also just far enough from the city to enjoy amazing stargazing without the usual “light” pollution.

About the host
Hosted by Scott Leathers
We got married in Cades Cove (GSMNP) in Oct. 1994. On our first anniversary we commissioned a painting by G.Webb (Glades Arts community) of the wedding location. We live in Franklin, TN, but often travel to this area for hiking, camping, and relaxation. Purchasing this cabin fulfills a long time dream of having our own place in the Smokies, as this is a frequent getaway place for our family and friends.
We both have worked in the arts our entire lives.
We both have worked in the arts our entire lives.
Why they chose this property
We looked at many properties before choosing this one. Our biggest priority was privacy-we knew we would visit often and did not want to spend our vacation time in an over developed and overcrowded area. We knew this place was right the second we saw it. We also appreciated the large Master Bedroom and Living Area, something we did not see in a lot of other properties. And we really like the ease of getting to Gatlinburg and the Sugarlands entrance of the GSMNP; and it's closeness to Glades road and the Arts and Crafts community sealed the deal for us.
What makes this property unique
We hate to keep repeating ourselves, but for us the biggest benefit is the location. Just off the beaten path, but close to all the amenities.
