Relaxing Home directly on Mirror Lake: 2 Minutes from Main Street

The home sits directly on Mirror Lake in the middle of Highlands, NC. Conveniently located a short 2 minute drive from Main Street but very private from the main road. Enjoy one of the many fine restaurants that Highlands has to offer or stay home to relax by the picturesque lake. Take a quiet paddle around the Lake in our 2 person peddle boat. The large house is perfect for a getaway with the family. The master is secluded on one side of the home with a private balcony. Another bedroom sits conveniently next to its own bathroom. Downstairs has 2 sets of bunk beds (two twins-2 doubles), private bathroom and beautiful view of the lake. There are two living rooms in the home that offer a view of the lake and a large TV for movie nights. One living room has a real wood burning fireplace. You will greatly enjoy your stay at this wonderful Lake House!

What a great spot!

The whole experience was great! The host was very hospitable and went out of her way to make certain we had a great trip. We celebrated our anniversary week with waterfall chasin’, paddle boating, brewery hopping, and good food - with an awesome spot to relax when we came back “home”. You won’t be disappointed here.

Awesome !

The house accommodated all of us comfortably. Plenty of space to spread out or gather! Beautiful views of Mirror Lake. Easy access to town and my husband enjoyed being close to a great running route on Billy Cabin Rd. The property owners were spectacular! The house was clean, fresh flowers were a nice touch, and they promptly handled any questions we had. We would certainly seek out their properties in the future!

Great property, excellent hosts!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mirror Lake! The home is located very close to downtown Highlands where you can find an excellent variety of restaurants and shopping. The home is clean and comfortable and the owners stock it well with all essentials and several above and beyond amenities like welcome flowers & wine, a 12 pack of bottled water in the fridge, toiletries, laundry detergent, dish soap and plenty of toilet paper and paper towels! This was so nice because we didn’t have to buy any supplies! The hosts also provided a notebook full of recommendations for local restaurants snd attractions that was very helpful! We look forward to returning to this area and will definitely look to stay with these hosts again!! Thank you so much for a fun-filled family vacation!

Best family getaway!

Our stay at the mirror lake home was lovely! The kitchen was well stocked and organized. The lake view from most all of the rooms in the home was very peaceful - especially on rainy afternoons! The home is very close to the heart of downtown Highlands and just a short drive to Cashiers! Hailey was awesome and answered any questions we had very promptly.
