We usually get a spring getaway scheduled with our children and our granddaughters. This home was immaculately clean, and so very comfortable to stay in. We enjoyed grilling out, the hot tub, and the fireplace at night once the grandchildren were in bed.We especially loved all the little touches — the chocolates at the bedside, the hot tub towels, warming blankets, etc. We also found all the area brochures and the schedule of events very helpful, as we went to the Elena festival and were able to do some of the carnival rides with our granddaughters. We highly recommend this home to other families!
Kelli’s home is beautiful, meticulous, and very comfortable with all the amenities in great condition. She added wonderful touches like fresh flowers and bedside chocolates. Highly recommend!!
It was a beautiful property...property was fully stocked...I loved all the personal touches. The property was very clean, well maintained...we loved the hot tub! We would come back to stay again!Chris
A beautiful relaxing stay! This is our second visit and I doublt be our last. Kelli is host extraordinaire! The Rosewood Lodge is warm and cozy with a fully stocked kitchen with every utensil you need for a peaceful getaway. Of course, the hot tub is amazing! Everything is beautiful! Thank you for opening your home to us!
The log house was a perfect venue for our family get together. The kitchen was well stocked with every pan, bowl, etc you would need plus the thoughtful things like spices and even plastic baggies for your goodies to take home or on your outings. The bedrooms were large and comfortable, although a little tall for little ones to get in & out of. The basement bedroom worked but is part of the entire basement floor, so we planned our time down there accordingly. The hot tub was ready for us on arrival and looked so inviting! While we had full intentions of using it, we never got in! The grounds were pretty and we enjoyed just sitting outside, overlooking the property, relaxing and chatting the day away.Independence as a town is tiny but Arcadia was close by and kept us busy with their weekend town celebration. We would definitely stay here again when we do a "meet in the middle" trip in the future.
An overall great place to share time with family. Lots of space, vey comfortable beds and bedding, very clean and well appointed. Ample supplies to complete the list of comforts to create a welcoming, home like atmosphere!
Hot tub was amazing!! Fire place felt so cozy, the set up of the rooms and the holiday feel was so great! We just loved how the house looked one of our dream homes for sure!

Why they chose this property
The ROSEWOOD LODGE is named after the street which was named after my deceased mother, ROSE. I designed this log home back in 2000 and it is accented with many items from my travels. I truly LOVE this home and hope you will too. Please enjoy this very special place.
What makes this property unique
Each room has a basic theme. The logs are 11 inch northern white pine. The log design is Swedish cope. Most of the furniture was custom made by a local Amish man. Many of the rugs I brought back from INDIA. The carved bears were created by a wood carver in northern WI. and he used one single 100 year old willow tree. The kitchen cabinets are maple and specially designed. Wishing you a wonderful stay.
