This cottage is surrounded by a perfectly manicured Mediterranean garden and consists of the architect's own property and the guesthouse.This 2-level guesthouse can accommodate from 2 to 4 people and is equipped with modern furniture. There is a spacious livingroom on the second level with a sofa-bed for 2 and a slightly raised corner with a build double bed and a window view of the Libyan Sea.On the first level there is a small fully equipped kitchen with a small dinner table and there is also a bathroom. Outside the first level there is a wood paneling pergola, a second fully equipped and cosy kitchen with a dinner table and build sofas ideal for relaxation. In front of the pergola and the guesthouse there is the garden with a big round dinner table.

Great stay at Ferma

We stayed a week in the special house of Aliki and Nikos. We enjoyed the beautiful view on olive trees and the sea. The house has a fantastic covered outdoor area with kitchen and an extensive lounge area. We had some changeable weather so even when it was a bit colder or raining, we could sit outside there. Inside also a cosy living room again with a beautiful view! In short, a very beautiful and wonderfully quiet place. We made nice trips in the area (by car) and saw a lot of the east of Crete. Thanks to Aliki for the suggestions. Thanks also for the pleasant communication, warm welcome and kindness.Willem and Inge

Sommerferien.

Super Professionelle und sehr freundliche Gastgeber. Eben echt Griechische Gastfreundschaft. Sehr ruhig gelegenes Haus und doch alles in der nähe. Auto empfehlenswert. Wir waren 6 Wochen Gast bei Aliki und Nicos.

Immer wieder gerne!!!

Den Aufenthalt habe ich sehr genossen, eine sehr ruhige Lage mit toller Aussicht und noch tolleren Gastgebern!!! Von Aliki habe ich sehr schöne Tourenvorschläge bekommen, die ich allesamt umgesetzt habe und es war jedesmal ein Erlebnis und vor allem die Augen konnten auf Safari gehen, unbeschreiblich!!! Irgendwann wieder auf Kreta, dann ganz sicher auch hier!!! Vielen lieben Dank nochmals und Liebe Grüße aus Stuttgart…. Annett

Natur und Ruhe

Erholsam: Schöne Wohnung und Aussenbereich, ruhig in der Natur gelegen mit toller Aussicht, vor allem vom oberen Stock. Ein Auto ist notwendig. Sehr liebe und achtsame Gastgeber mit Tipps für Ausflüge, Umgebung etc. . Ein Stern weniger bei Umgebung für fehlende bequeme Liegen im Garten. Die eine vorhandene war nicht so bequem. Dafür war der grosse Sitzbereich Aussen überdacht und quasi windgeschützt. Grundsätzlich für Paare sehr empfehlenswert, vor allem wenn man selbst kocht. Zu berücksichtigen ist hier, dass im November immer mehr Tavernen schliessen. Für uns war es insgesamt perfekt.

Erholung pur in toller Lage bei einer überaus freundlichen Gastgeberin

Wir waren eine Woche wirklich zu Gast bei Aliki, die mehr ist als nur eine Vermieterin. Sie stand uns mit guten Tipps für Ausflüge und Lokale zur Seite. Das von ihr entworfene Gästehaus ist sehr gemütlich und intelligent eingerichtet und war auch bei heißen Temperaturen angenehmn klimatisiert. Besonders genossen haben wir den Freisitz und die ruhige Lage. Ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausgangspunkt für Besichtigungen in Ost-Kreta, aber auch ein schöner Ort, um zu entspannen und die Seele in wohltuender Umgebung baumeln zu lassen.

Besonderer Flair

Das Haus und die Terrasse/ Garten sind sehr schön gestaltet, man sieht die Handschrift der Vermieterin die Architektin ist. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt und eine schöne Zeit dort verbracht. Die Vermieterin hat uns sehr herzlich empfangen und und viele Tipps für Ausflüge und Tavernen gegeben. Die Vermieter wohnen nebenan aber achten sehr auf die Privatsphäre der Gäste. Wir hatten einen Mietwagen und sind viel Wandern gewesen, die Strände die wir besucht haben waren alle sehr schön. Im großen und ganzen haben wir so den Osten der Insel in 14 Tagen gut kennengelernt.

Wunderbarer Aufenthalt in Oase der Entspannung

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Woche bei tollen Gastgebern in diesem stylisch und komfortabel entworfenen Haus das ideal für 2 Person ist. Die Räume, der überdachte Aussenbereich und der Garten sind eine wahre Oase! Aliki hat uns mit tollen Tipps für Ausflüge und Tavernen versorgt und war stets zur Stelle ohne je aufdringlich zu sein. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und konnten auch rasch abschalten. Wir kommen gerne wieder, Danke für Alles!

Wunderbar

Ein modernes, kleines Ferienhaus, toll eingerichtet, mit Blick aufs Meer, am Fuße der Berge der Ostküste gelegen, von wo aus man viele auch kleinere Strände sehr gut erreichen kann - Auto vorausgesetzt.

Absolut einmalig und einfach wunderschön!

Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment absolut wohl gefühlt. Das kleine individuell gestaltete Häuschen liegt ruhig und inmitten von Oliven- und Obstbäumen an einer Anhöhe. Im Hintergrund die Berge, vor einem das Meer. Das Haus ist super ausgestattet, besonders die Outdoor Küche war ein Highlight. Aliki und Nico wohnen direkt nebenan und waren wirklich unglaublich herzliche Gastgeber. Wir wurden mit Tipps zu Ausflügen, Sehenswürdigkeiten und vor allem Tavernen versorgt, so dass wir immer etwas ganz Besonderes erleben konnten. Der Osten von Kreta ist sehr abwechslungsreich und ursprünglich, die Leute waren immer sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir wollte gar nicht mehr weg. Ein ganz besonderer Urlaub, jederzeit wieder!

Toller Urlaub

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Urlaub in einem ganz besonderen Anwesen mit Blick auf das Meer und die Olivenbäume. Im Umkreis ist alles zu bekommen, was man für zwei entspannte Wochen benötigt und wer die Tips von Aliki beherzigt, lernt Kreta von einer ganz besonderen Seite kennen Vielen Dank dafür !

Erholung pur in grandioser Lage

Von einer sehr netten in Athen geborenen "Wienerin", die mit ihrem Mann Nikos an der südkritischen Küste ein wunderbares Zuhause erbaut hat, wird man herzlich auf Wienerisch Willkommen geheißen und fühlt sich gleich wohl. Aliki als Seele des Anwesens hat in Wien Bauplanung und Architektur studiert und ein besonders Ferienhaus mit zweiter offener Küche und einem überdachten Aufenthaltsbereich entworfen. Das Ferienhaus, welches neben ihrem eigenen Wohnhaus steht, wird von Orangenbäumen, Weingewächsen und Olivenbäumen umrankt. Wir haben uns bei Aliki und Nikos sehr umsorgt und wohl gefühlt. Man kann sich hier wunderbar erholen - und so werden wieder irgendwann gerne zu Aliki und Nikos zurückkehren! Jürgen und Andrea

Le immagini visibili qui non rendono piena giustizia a questa casa; è la prima osservazione che arriva spontaneamente. Una posizione di privilegio che offre una tranquillità e una pace che sono un regalo per le nostre vacanze . La vista che ogni giorno abbiamo avuto davanti a noi rimarrà nei nostri occhi e nostri cuori a lungo. Dagli ulivi all’apertura infinita del mare … La casa è molto curata da ogni punto di vista. Impagabile il patio spaziosissimo che consente di cucinare all’aperto, pranzare e rilassa tardi su morbidi cuscini . E se si ha, come noi, la fortuna di avere la luna piena che si specchia nel mare, la magia è superlativa. Anche l’interno è gradevolissimo e ben strutturato. È evidente l’impronta dell’architetto. Nulla lasciato al caso. Last but not least i padroni di casa. Cortesia, discrezione e disponibilità deliziose. Suggerimenti interessantissimi anche per le escursioni da parte di Aliki, straordinaria padrona di casa.

Ort mit Ruhe und einer fantastischen Aussicht

Mit der sehr schönen Unterkunft bekommt man auch noch eine sehr nette herzliche Gastfamilie hinzu. Wir wurden immer mit leckeren Früchten aus dem eigenen Garten versorgt. Den gemeinsamen netten Abend haben wir besonders genossen. Es gab viele nützliche Tipps für den Aufenthalt. Wir bedanken uns noch einmal für die besondere Gastfreundschaft.

Traumhafter Außenbereich mit schönem Blick aufs Meer und sehr nette Vermieter

Wir haben eine sehr schöne Woche in dem Ferienhaus verbracht. Die Vermieterin Aliki und ihr Mann haben uns bestens betreut und viele gute Tipps gegeben. Highlight war für uns die Terrasse mit der Aussenküche. Oft waren wir früh sehr lange dort zum Frühstücken und haben den herrlichen Blick aufs Meer genossen. Auch der Innenbereich ist sehr originell und geschmackvoll gestaltet, besonders betonen wollen wir die bequemen Betten . Die Lage ist perfekt, von dem Ferienhaus aus kann man viele verschiedene Strände erreichen, die auch in der Hauptsaison nicht überfüllt sind. Zudem gibt es einige sehr gute Tavernen, hier am besten auf die Tipps von Aliki hören. Wir waren vorher viel im Westen der Insel unterwegs und waren sehr überrascht über das wunderschöne noch ursprüngliche östliche Kreta das man von diesem Standort aus gut erkunden kann. Das Ferienhaus liegt auf dem wunderbaren Anwesen der Vermieter wobei man aber wirklich seinen eigenen Bereich hat. Vielen Dank noch mal für die tolle Woche!

Wir haben uns von Anfang an sehr wohlgefühlt und die Unterkunft ist noch schöner als auf den Fotos! Nicht nur von unseren vier Fellfreunden, sondern auch von Aliki, Niko und Lefteris sind wir jeden Tag herzlich aufgenommen worden. Die Tipps von Aliki waren grandios. 4 Wochen im Paradies

Wir waren 4 Wochen im August da, es ist alles genauso wie auf den Fotos. Die Lage ist perfekt, alles gut erreichbar, eine feste Strasse bis zum Haus. Die lieben Katzen fehlen uns jetzt schon. Schöne Wohlfühlatmosphäre

Wir haben uns in den zwei Wochen im Ferienhaus von Aliki sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist sehr gepflegt und schön eingerichtet. Es hat einen wunderschönen überdachten Sitzplatz mit Blick aufs Meer. Die Organisation hat perfekt geklappt. Die Vermieterin war immer sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Besonders hervorzuheben war, dass uns Aliki gleich zu Beginn mit sehr vielen wertvollen Ausflugstips und Tavernenempfehlungen versorgt hat. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Traumhafter Ort und wunderbare Gastgeber

Ostkreta ist in jeder Beziehung eine Reise wert - die Kultur/Geschichte, die Natur und bezaubernden Landschaften mit einzigartigen Bergen, Felsen und Schluchten zum Wandern/Klettern, die herzliche Gastfreundschaft und das Essen in den Tavernen lassen keine Wünsche offen. Meer & Berge sind eine wunderbare Kombination. Dafür bei Aliki zu Gast zu sein, ist die beste Voraussetzung für einen entspannten Urlaub! After the school I began to study architecture in Vienna , I became my diploma and started to work in several architecture offices and as a freelance architect.
In the year 2000 I met my husband in Crete and after 3 years I mooved with my office there. Today I live with my husband and my son in the mainhouse of the property.

Why they chose this property

We love south Crete!!! The south-east coast of Crete is not crowded with tourists and its natural environment remains untouched from mass tourism. Having our guesthouse as a starting point, there are several places inside the town of Ierapetra and in the villages around, which are worthwhile a visit. You can take long walks and enjoy the magnificent nature the areas has to offer. These are some interesting tips to make your stay with us unforgettable one. You can access some of the most beautiful blue flag beaches in 5' - 10' distance from our guesthouse. It is recommended you hire a car. Pets are not permitted and smoking is only allowed outdoors.

What makes this property unique

Our guesthouse is a bioclimatic building and except the central heating there is also a wood stove for winter.In our area winter is mild with temperatures around 12 - 15 d.C. During September and Oktober you can still swim, im November you can experience how the local people make the raki - our traditional Cretan drink - and in December there is a Christmas bazaar and a lot of Christmas events for all ages. In January and February you can enjoy the mild and fragrant winter, in April and May the arrival of spring and the Greek Orthodox Easter. And of course in June, July and August you can experience the unique Greek summer.
Public buses provide connection from Ferma to other destinations and back. There are also public buses to Ierapetra from both airports of Heraklion and Sitia. You can also visit our two nearby islands, "Chrissi Island" and "Koufonisi" with daily ferries from Ierapetra and Makris Gialos.
