Communication was poor right from the checkin. We had several issues with the accommodation which could have been easily fixed. Some of these were promised to be handled, but never were, and some were just ignored altogether.The place is smaller than it looks in the listing. It was barely big enough for 2 people. If the hide-a-bed was pulled out, the bathroom wouldn't be accessible from the bedroom or kitchen.Parts of Clichy are very charming (a nice little village), but this apartment is in the area bordering the charming and sketchy. I wouldn't feel too safe wandering around this neighbourhood after dark. The location was convenient for getting in to Paris. About 10 min walk to the metro and 15-20 min on the metro to the touristy parts of Paris. There were plenty of grocery stores and restaurants within walking distance.The bigggest problem we had was the hot water. One of the main reasons we picked this place was that it had a bathtub. As a senior, my body really needs a soak in a warm bath after a full day of walking etc. The temperature of the water made the bath unusable and the showers not much better. We bought a bath thermometer and measured the bath temperature (full hot) at 37 degrees Celsius, that's luke-warm at best. The host said it was a safety system so the water can't get too hot. We have the same system at home, where you have to use the "adult bypass" feature to get above 38 degrees. The 37 here was after the bypass was used.
