Massive open floor plan with a huge covered porch overlooking Lake Superior. FULL GAME ROOM with pool table, ping pong, air hockey, stick hockey, or foose ball located in the basement next to the INDOOR SAUNA. 450 sqft screened in porch with lots of seating, open the doors and step out onto the patio with even more seating around a bonfire or the 6 person HOT TUB under the stars. Catch a sunset or walk the shores of Superior down to Iroquois Point Lighthouse only 1/2 a mile away. Take a swim at Monocle Lake, just a 5 min. walk from the front porch. Link up with the TRAILHEADS for miles of exploration for hiking, biking, snowmobiling, or side-by-sides. If boating, golfing, or gambling suit your fancy, just 7 miles away you can find all 3 at Bay Mills Resort and Casino/ Wild Bluff Golf Course. The monocle lake boat launch is only a 2 mile drive to the opposite end of the lake. Two high quality mountain bikes are available for use as well. Sault Ste. Marie is 30 min away, with lots of tourist shops, the Soo locks, and a wide variety of dining down on portage avenue.

Beautiful property. Much nicer than the online photos depict. One bed in loft was an air mattress, another a pull out couch. and not in an actual room. Perfect for kids but not adults. The kitchen was very well supplied. Even chocolate chips and other baking supplies. It is a gorgeous place to stay. We would definitely stay there again.

We recently stayed for six wonderful days at this property. The house was amazing! The hosts were very promt in replying to inquires and the property showed that they care about the renters' experience. The hosts obviously take pride in their property. The house was spotlessly clean and there was tons of parking space. The property is not on the Lake Superior shore and therefore there is some question as to who owns the beach. There is a public access a very short walk from the house but we were told by the owner of a beachfront residence that it was not a public beach and that we could not sit on their sand. He told us to go further down the beach where there is a spit of sand jutting into the lake. I don't know the law on this so we just moved to the spit and had a great time on a beautiful beach. We would definately go back.

Lawson Lodge was great and nicely accommodated all 9 guests. Beautiful setting, extremely clean and roomy. The hot tub and fire ring were enjoyable. Trent and Kris were attentive to all of our questions. Everyone agreed that they’d love to return in the future.

This house has been a wonderful place for our family for the week. We arrived after an 11hr drive to an unexpected gift of sweet treats that was greatly appreciated. The kitchen was well stocked and nicely labeled so everything it's easy to find. Our teens/adult children used the basement game area often and loved the screened in porch. It was a great base home for our exploring this side of the UP! Thank you for the use of your beautiful home!

To say this house was well stocked is an understatement! We’ve staying in many VRBO houses and this one, by far, had the most amenities. We brought a crockpot but didn’t need to. There was one in the house! (Super unusual). There was plenty of storage containers with lids for leftovers. I said several times during our week stay…”this house is stocked better than my own house”. If you are booking this house and question what all they provide, just send them a message. I’m going to bet their answer will be “yes we provide that”. Blackstone was used often. Wood was provided for the fire pit. Short walk to the lake! We noticed that the power had gone out…but no worries….the generator kicked on! Yep…this house also has a generator. If we were to travel to Michigan again, we would book this house again!

Excellent property. Perfect for multigenerational vacation. Something for all ages from toys to heated bathroom floors and beautiful fireplaces. The place whispered with the intentional hospitality of the host. Tiny touches of fire starters for the fireplace for successful fires, coffee to go cups, plenty of towels, a warm garage for an emergency alternator change, kids books, a beautiful porch, and a so many other tiny personal touchesThe perfect home base. Would love to visit when it was warm enough to experience the water and all the house offers in that season. Thank you

The cabin was exactly what we needed for our extended family to be together on the occasion of our oldest daughter's graduation from Lake State. The property had everything we needed, and the price was fair. It was very clean and well equipped. We especially enjoyed the hot tub, fireplace, game room and grill. Hightly recommend.

Lawson’s Lodge was perfect for our trip with 5 total (3 kids). We could have fit many more. There is all kinds of room in this house. The downstairs is perfect for entertaining teens and think their teens with ping pong and pool table. There are over a hundred DVD’s, hot tub, sauna (which is the one thing we didn’t use). All of it was wonderful.I even got a leg workout and 5 miles on the treadmill while reading a book while the kids played in the other room. Priceless.The kitchen is labeled to show you where everything is. There are sinks everywhere in this house ;). The porch would be fantastic for sitting when it’s a little warmer. View of Lake Superior from multiple rooms. I could go on.1 hour from Tahquamenon Falls, 30 min from Canada and Sault locks. We did those three as two day trips and had a great time.Great house and spot to rent as it has something for everyone. Would definitely come back. Thanks to Trent and Kristine for sharing their wonderful lodge with us.Erik

The pictures dont do justice. Gorgeous, clean, big cabin for our family vacation! Had plenty of everything to use; cooking supplies with a fully loaded kitchen, bathroom supplies, with endless towels, laundry room essentials, hot tub accessories, so many games and movies, and the basement is so big full of so many games!! We have went on man family vacations, and this cabin was by far my favorite! So roomy, plus a garage if need :) very fast check in and out, and great communication for owners! My family enjoyed every bit of it.

This cabin is absolutely gorgeous and spacious with plenty of room for our group of nine. From the very well stocked kitchen to just about anything else you may have forgotten, they owners if this amazing home have it covered. The weather didn't exactly cooperate with us this weekend but they have that covered as well with a pool table, foosball, ping pong, loose weights, and sauna in the basement plus a hot tub just off the screened in deck. We had a truly spectacular time in spite of the rain!

We had such a lovely stay! When I say this is the cleanest and most well kept homes I’ve ever stayed in, it’s not an exaggeration. And I’ve stayed at a lot of vrbo homes. The bit tub was so nice, the basement for the kids was amazing. The kitchen had everything you could ever need and the blackstone was used daily on our stay with easy clean up. The bedrooms fit us perfectly and my six kids loved the room with the twins beds. The hosts were kind and easy to get a hold of. We were walking distance to a fun beach on Lake Superior and driving distance to so many fun areas. This is a great home!

Great House!

Beautiful house with plenty of space and fun! Kids loved the games downstairs and we enjoyed the hot tub while listening to the rushing waves of the lake! Overall, great experience! We were between Mackinaw, Sault Ste Marie and Tahquamenon falls!

This property exceeded my expectations. The room sizes were very large and high ceilings. It truly is a lodge. So many thougtful amenities, right down to makeup towels. There were so many random toys, games and movies, along with the property amenities. The location was ideal. When we had a question, the owners got right back to us. Great communication.

Large Family getaway

Stayed 6 nights and enjoyed them all. Walked into fresh cookies and felt very welcomed. Cabin had everything we needed.Teens and adults enjoyed the games, hot tub and fire. We all enjoyed the short walk to beach on Lake Superior and definitely enjoyed the sunsets. We spent some time on Monocle Lake as well swimming and kayaking. Cabin was great and large enough for all of us, and the screened porch was the perfect place for coffee in the morning.
