This studio apartment has features that set it apart from any other: a full size kitchen, full size shower, and a central location that is walkable to any nightlife you should desire! The building also gives you access to a beautiful rooftop patio to catch a sunset or a great view of the Birmingham skyline.

Surrounded by historic buildings, Morris Ave began its life as a central business hub until it was later transformed into a nightlife scene in the late 1960s. Today, you have a quiet and fun neighborhood with plenty to see and do!

Plenty of parking for anyone driving, but also walkable to Birmingham's best dining. Also a short walk away from the Rotary Trail.

Excellent Urban Location

Situated well for all of our travel around town, convenient to the restaurants we booked, and antique shops we wanted to see. Cameron was great to communicate with re check-in and follow up. Highly recommend this property!

Just visiting

The property was in immaculate condition. Super clean. The building was secure and felt safe. The parking wasn’t as bad as we anticipated and were able to find a spot every time we were in and out. There were some classy eating area in walking distances and driving wasn’t bad for something a little less fancy.

Amazing Spot

Okay so parking in Birmingham is not great but the host was super great about giving me tips. The spot is amazing with perfect restaurants for any meal within walking distance. We at at a different location for each meal and were never disappointed. Add on to this the amazing shops and sight of Birmingham and it's perfect. We would gladly stay here again.

We rented this place so that we could be in a central Birmingham location (close to the convention center and restaurants), but also so that we could cook many of our meals. It has a fantastic, well-stocked kitchen. The only things missing were a cheese grater and a garlic press...LOL. The espresso machine in the kitchen and Pizza Grace in the courtyard below are truly worth coming back for. Thanks for a great place and for being great hosts!!

Mercantile on Morris

Great location in close proximity to several restaurants. The place was a studio with 1 bathroom and a full kitchen. The place was clean and offered wifi with a Roku TV. Ive stayed in this area previously, which is why i chose the same building of condos. There was only two of us staying at the place as it only sleeps two. The areas that would prevent me from staying here again are mainly the uncomfortable bed which was a platform bed with no box spring. There was also only 2 coffee pods, 2 towels. It would have been nice to have an extra one just in case. Those are menial complaints though.

Location, Location, Location!

Mercantile on Morris is the perfect spot to stay while you explore all that downtown Birmingham has to offer. We just got back from a weekend trip exploring the fantastic food scene in Birmingham and could not have picked a better home base. Located in the up and coming downtown area of Birmingham, AL, Mercantile on Morris is steps away from some of the best restaurants in the country. It's directly across the street from Adios, which was nominated for best bar in America. And it's steps away from my favorite restaurant on the planet- Helen, which was voted best new restaurant in America as well as nominated for a James Beard Award. Pizza Grace is just downstairs, and was also nominated for a James Beard Award. The unit itself has all you could ever need for a great stay. Amazing decor, top end appliances, and a shared balcony with great views of downtown. So, find some time to explore downtown Birmingham and discover all that this great Southern town has to offer. And check out Mercantile on Morris. You won't regret it

Quick Trip

Great place to stay for a quick work trip. Safe and secure building, clean, has everything you need, and the location is great. Walkable to tons of restaurants, bars, and coffee. Walkable to UAB campus. Will book again for my next trip to Birmingham.

This place was amazing

Very clean, easy to get in and out, I suggest parking in the public parking out back and paying the fee. But overall, was a great place to stay— will stay here again

Mother /Daughter trip

Great little space. Perfect for our Mother/Daughter trip. Studio had everything we needed. I was worried about the parking situation and having to park on the street but the street was very well lit and felt safe. Nice atrium to hangout in when wanting a place to sit and chat with others.
