About Erica K.
An entrepreneur by nature, I have enjoyed the freedom and flexibility that a self directed path can provide. I have loved to travel and annually embark upon both a beach vacation and an exotic destination in a far away continent - you will find exotic mementos from my travels adorn El Milagro and inspire the eclectic sampling of the world within. Growing up in Tucson and feeling a connection to this style of architecture/ property, I wanted to name my special Casa to honor my connection to the heritage of the house, hence the name El Milagro - which means The Miracle of the Neighborhood - a miracle to own a home, a miracle this place has stood 135 years - a miracle of light and laughter within---. While home in Tucson, I love to landscape, You will see me working on my properties tending to the mesquite trees, Peruvian apple cactus a native willow or assisting guests at El Milagro and other homes. I have always enjoyed cooking - entertaining friends and family and hosting many social events, and look forward to hosting you during your stay in Tucson!

Charming and very comfortable.
Loved the multiple seating areas. So beautiful and welcoming.
A beautiful historic home.
The large kitchen and three bedrooms were a great way for us to spread out. The bed is comfortable and the kitchen had everything necessary to cook with.
wonderfully appointed, comfortable home
we really enjoyed staying at this very nicely decorated home. the beds were very comfortable and lush towels in bathrooms. nice size house for 5 people. the courtyard is absolutely wonderful with several seating areas. it is very quiet at night except when the train comes through; no one in our group was bothered by the train noise (when sitting outside it's a tad loud but passes very quickly). there is a small market with delicious breakfast burritos and a few other grocery items. safeway is about one mile away. it's a nice walk or bike ride into downtown. we had our bikes with us and also took advantage of The Loop (131 mile trail) being very close. kitchen has lots of good quality pans, nice dishes, cups, and glasses (could use a couple more wine glasses). even the knives were sharp! several spices available and condiments in fridge.easy street parking. we loved walking around this and other close by neighborhoods; so much artwork and interesting fences, gates, yardart, and more to see. all five of us agreed that we would stay at this home again.
a few items we would recommend - night lights in the bathrooms, and better lighting in the kitchen. install mirror at adult height in 2nd bathroom - maybe hang from ceiling to not damage gorgeous tiles (this is absolutely beautiful marble bathroom and shower).
owner of property was very easy to reach and very accomodating. highly recommend this property!
It was our second time here and not our last!
We booked the home for 30 days as we did last year. It was fantastic. We had a party and 100 people showed up and there was plenty of room! The rooms are all nicely decorated and the beds are very comfortable. We can't say enough good things about the back yard with the many comfortable sitting areas and the nicely landscaped areas to watch birds in. Yeah there is a train that goes by now and then but after the 3rd one we barely noticed and never woke up from the noise. We're doing again in 2019 for another 30 day stay. Thanks Erica!
Loved it and would return!
This house is absolutely adorable and the yard is huge + inviting! Erica was a wonderful and responsive host. Our only issue was not being able to do laundry for a week as the machine was broken and we had not packed accordingly but otherwise our experience was perfect!! We would absolutely return!
Erica was a great host. The home was both beautiful and comfortable. We would stay again in a heartbeat!
