Lake House Blue is a private home at the end of a dock that stretches over 250 feet from the land for the ultimate in privacy. This beautiful home has upscale amenities inside, including, HIGH SPEED INTERNET with DESK AND CHAIR FOR WORK FROM HOME OR STUDYING. Franklin wood Fire Place, (Quartz Counter tops & Stainless Steel Appliances) outdoor decks all around the house with a LP gas outdoor Fire Pit with Adirondack chairs.
Over the water location with fresh air abound could be one of the best places for relaxation in all of Florida...

Please Note...WE HAVE INSTALLED A HALO-LED WHOLE HOME AIR PURIFICATION SYSTEM, INSTALLED IN OUR DUCT WORK TO MAKE SURE WE ARE SUPPLYING OUR GUEST WITH THE HEALTHIEST INDOOR ENVIRONMENT POSSIBLE...

There are two screened porches with rocking chairs, and a hammock.
Bring your boat, or use our Crab traps and fishing gear, and yes you can Fish all around the house on our docks. Relax while watching wildlife like Ospreys, Herons, Egrets, and the occasional Bald Eagle.

Fishing is good almost all year around. This lake made it's reputation with Large Mouth Bass, with tournaments coming out of Palatka on the St. Johns River.


WE CONSIDER THE LOCAL FISH THAT LIVE IN THE WATERS AROUND LAKE HOUSE BLUE AS FISH FRIENDS AND ARE VALUABLE ASSETS, ESPECIALLY THE BLUEGILL POPULATION. OUR GOAL IS TO KEEP THEM FAT AND HAPPY BECAUSE THEY ARE THE FAVORITE DISH OF OUR BIG MOUTH BASS. OUR AUTOMATIC FISH FEEDER PROVIDES THEM WITH PELLET MEALS 2 TIMES A DAY AT 10 am, and 6 pm. WE THINK THEY APPRECIATE THIS PERK AND WE ARE GLAD TO PROVIDE IT..
LAKE HOUSE BLUE IS ALL ABOUT GIVING EVERYTHING AND EVERYBODY A RESTFUL REFRESHING BREAK FROM THE PRESSURES OF DAILY LIFE.

FOR OUR BOATERS.. we have a floating EASY DOCK for your tie ups with a stationary ladder up to the main dock. Pull in, tie off, and let the dock and your boat act as one for your added convenience.

Daytona 500 one hour away: Don't miss the greatest NASCAR event of the year. Not very far away, and the perfect place to get away from the crowds and relax when it is over.
HORSEBACK RIDING is not far away. South on 17 between Barberville and DeLeon Springs...Deep Creek Stables has an excellent set up for all kinds of riding...
Also while in DeLeon Springs DON'T MISS your chance to swim in the 14 million gallon per day clear water Nature Spring and State Park. Be sure to go early so you can enjoy self made Pancakes at The Old Sugar Mill Pancake House. A crowd favorite !!

It was like staying on a deserted island. So peaceful and the views were amazing. Watching the sunrise, sunsets and the moon over the lake made this trip.

Perfect getaway! This was such a unique rental surrounded by beautiful lake views. So peaceful and relaxing!! Very clean and comfortable and stocked with everything you can think of and more. Excellent communication with the host who goes above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need to enjoy your stay! Highly recommend and cant wait to return!

WE ABSOLUTELY ENJOYED OURSELVES BEYOND MEASURE. THE HOUSE WAS SO BEAUTIFUL AND RELAXING. DID NOT CATCH ANY BASS JUST 1 CATFISH AND A BLUE CRAB. THE HOUSE WAS VERY TIDY AND SMELLED VERY CLEAN. WE WOULD DEFINITELY BOOK AGAIN

Incredible place, my third stay. Fishing was great. Accommodations included many small upgrades, such as down pillows, a great mattress, and high-quality linens. The multi-jet shower was what was needed after a day in the sun. I need to book my stay for next spring.

Even fur baby LOVED this lake house

Amazing home IN the water. Alligators, egrets, eagles are just a few amazing creatures surrounding the house. Large parking area that is secure along with a fully stocked kitchen. Perfect get away.

Great get away!

Lake house blue is a beautiful, relaxing vacation house! It feels like you’re on a boat without the rocking. We absolutely loved our stay. No complaints. Dean is an excellent host. Easy to contact and responds quickly. The home is laid out perfectly and is well stocked for cooking your catch! We hope to return again sooner rather than later!

Best stay ever!

We have been staying at waterfront properties for 30 years, never the same place twice, so we have seen A LOT of waterfront properties. The decor of this place was over the top. hands down, best decorated house we have ever seen. The time and effort to create the best waterfront fishing haven is mind boggling. The hosts are attentive and responsive. The house is clean and well appointed. The accommodations are superb. They have thought of everything--luggage carts, fishing gear, crab traps, toiletries, firewood. It's worth every penny. We will return.

Get away from Michigan

I don't know where to start! This place was absolutely amazing! The views were breathtaking the host Make sure to provide you with absolutely everything you need! There's so many things to do to keep yourself busy! We caught a stingray, bowfin fish, crabs, and bass! It was such a fun trip will definitely be returning

Wonderful Vacation

Lake House Blue was exceptional from check in to check out! We usually are vacationer on the west coast and saltwater fishing! But are very pleased with Crescent Lake and staying at this wonderful house 200’ down the dock. The overall decor was focused on many area of local interest. The amount of actual fishing flies that were placed around the house on the wallpaper and other decor is very impressive. And per my husband the dock for our boat was the best he’s seen. Would love to come back!

Unique Stay

This house was a cool place to stay on our vacation. Unfortunately, we tried to escape the cold of Ohio and got met with cold, windy weather, so we didn't get the chance to hang out outside or the porches as much as we would have liked. But, we did utilize the indoor fireplace which was nice and cozy. Location wise, there's not much nearby, but we were okay with that. We were happy to be away from busy cities and all the hustle and bustle. We would definitely stay here again.

Unique Experience

We’ve been staying at VRBOs for years, and this was definitely our favorite. If you love water views, this is your spot. We used to live on a sailboat and water views feed my soul. I happily made every meal the four nights we were there because of the bank of windows in the kitchen, I even enjoyed doing the dishes! The views are endless, and every room has windows with views.The decor is fabulous, we noticed new, interesting items daily. The dining room table is lovely. The beds are comfortable. The showers are exquisite, with multiple body jets. In a word, perfect. We will return.

Our family has used this lake house as our get away from it all escape from reality. We have been pressured for many years to rent this property so everyone can get to enjoy one of Florida's most hidden and unusual secrets. Henry David Thoreau said ' A lake is a landscape's most beautiful and expressive features' A lake with a house in the middle of it is nature as it's best. We are very sorry we can't share our Lake House Blue with Mr. Thoreau, but we are sure he would love it....

We bought this lake house because we wanted to get back to the old Florida of days gone by. This area has changed very little compare to other parts of Florida. Just 25 miles North in Palatka was as far south people came around the turn of the 20th century. The great people of that era names like President Grant, Mrs. Lincoln, wanted to see the wild Florida and all it's natural wonders. Palatka had as many 100 Paddle Wheel boats tied up at the city docks. Years later Babe Ruth came a couple of years and taught a base ball school. Highway 17 is the original highway to Florida as well as US1 on the East coast. These are the things that I saw when my parents brought me thru this area in the 1950's. It made a lasting impression on me and I get to enjoy this area today just like I was a kid again...

This is a one of a kind home with class, modern features, and a view from every window and door. Wildlife is all around and likes to show off for our guest. Bald Eagles,Osprey's, Ducks,Blue Heron's,White Egret's, even an occasional Manatee. This is just the beginning because every month has a different supply of nature's best. Come experience the wonders of nature at it best....
