About this property

Private Heated Pool, Fishing pond, zip line. Private 10 acre getaway!

The property itself consists of 10 acres, 2 of which is a semi-private championship bass finishing pond (There have been 10 pound bass pulled out of there!). The property is gated at the entrance and surrounded by hundreds of acres of woods and farmland. The only neighbors are across the pond. The pond is down the hill down a flagstone path where you will find a gravel fishing beach, picnic table and peddle boat. Right outside of the house is firepit with supplied wood, picnic table, 2 hammocks and around the campfire comfortable seating.
We just completed the construction of a 16x32 inground, saltwater swimming pool complete with pool heater. A flagstone path from the house will lead you to hours of family fun around the pool. There are 2 picnic tables at the pool as well as 4 lounge chairs and benches.
The home itself is a 4 bedroom 3.5 bath plus 2 car garage. One of the garage spots is used for a commercial workout machine which you have full access to, the other spot is available for parking. The home is a modern, open living floorplan. Kitchen, dining and living rooms are all together so that your group can enjoy each others company to the fullest during your stay. The master bedroom is on one side of the house and 3 more bedrooms on the other side of the house. The master bathroom has a 2 person traditional sauna. The kitchen is equipped with a high end Ilve range for that chef in your group with gas cooking, griddle and double oven. Huge quartz countertop with 4 counter stools are there for your entertaining. The dining table is 120" and seats 10. The home is appointed with everything that you could possibly need for comfortable stay. Just bring food, coffee and a bottle of wine and we'll handle the rest!


* A note about the heated pool in off season *

Typically between Nov-April each year the pool is either not heated or the pool heater could be running but can fail to adequitely heat when the weather gets too cold. The pool heater does not work when it gets below 45° at night and takes up to 48 hours to catch back up after a cold zap. We do not guarantee that a heated pool will be available during these months. If you have any questions, please contact the host.

We really enjoyed our stay here. House was decorated nicely and very well stocked. We just wanted to spend time as a family and we were able to do that with plenty of things to do. We enjoyed the pool, zip line, sauna, and fishing. We only caught one small fish, my kids only complaint, but not the owners fault.

Peaceful and relaxing!

My family had an great stay and an amazing time. It feels very secluded and is very quiet. If you're looking for peace & quiet away from the crowds but still have some fun things for the kids to do, this is a great place. The house and pool were very clean and comfortable, the lake is loaded with bass, and (if you like to cook) the kitchen is very well stocked.

Country Getaway

Perfect country/woodland getaway! So peaceful and quiet. We loved the pool, and the fact that the trees kept it nice and shaded most of the time. Paddle-boating in the pond was fun too. The house was very clean and comfortable for everyone :)

The property was very peaceful and a nice get-away. If you love being out in nature and enjoy relaxing away from the city, I highly recommend. The house has many amenities for kids if it's rainy outside such as games, toys, crayons, and playdoh. The host was easy to get in touch with and very responsive. We would stay here again. There's also a pizza place nearby called, "Pizza done right" very good! Thank you!

Relaxation at its finest!

This property is so good! The house is immaculate, well stocked, and very functional. We had a 2 family (w/ young kids ages 7-11) extended weekend stay and didn't want to leave. The boys fished while the girls swam and lounged by the pool. The skies were beautiful. Great outdoor area for grilling. Plenty of things for the kids to do without leaving the property. Definitely recommend.

Fantastic Getaway

Our family of three had the best time at this property! The home is gorgeous and well stocked. Everything was clean and well maintained. Our daughter really enjoyed the jungle gym and running around outdoors. It’s private and peaceful. We caught tons of fish at the pond, and had an absolute blast with the pedal boat. The pool is immaculate. All in all, we would highly recommend this property if you’re looking for a low key, quiet getaway.

Perfect Getaway!

This property is probably one of the best vacation homes we've ever stayed in. We mostly made meals at the house, and it was extremely well appointed and absolutely beautiful. It had every single thing we needed, plus more. We had intended on eating out at least once a day, but we didn't want to leave the house. We had a small family reunion with my elderly parents. They went on and on about how amazing the property was. We enjoyed the pool every day. It's close enough to Cullman to eat out at a number of delicious places. We'll definitely stay here again on our next visit to Alabama.
