A charming first-floor, one-bedroomed, newly-renovated Parisian Apartment, situated in a beautiful period building, with a paved and flower-filled courtyard, just a few steps from the picturesque Canal St-Martin.
The traditionally Parisian features, such as beautiful hardwood floors, high ceilings and windows, and fine large rooms, blend gracefully with the mix of Antique and new Furniture, as well as the original and warm decor, and unique paintings. The equipment and facilities are all second-to-none, with High-Speed WiFi, a 32-inch TV flatscreen, and the best quality kitchen and bathroom appliances.
The large bedroom is an oasis of light and quietness, and includes a very functional desk and library, a delightful little sofa, as well as clothes storage and the TV/DVD. You might find it hard to stir out to sample the other delights of Parisian life!
The living-room, also with a window to a quiet courtyard, has a King-Size most comfortable convertible Sofa-Bed, and beautiful Antique Dining Table and Chairs for six, where the food and conversation will be enhanced by your surroundings. The open-space kitchen is eminently practical and fully equipped, with beautiful tableware and glassware. Games, music facilities, etc are available.
The airy and roomy bathroom includes a perfect shower, a Washer-Dryer, an Iron and Table, and a lot of storage room, as well as two enormous mirrors to prepare yourself for the fashionable surrounding streets.
The apartment is located in an exciting yet tranquil boho area, with hundreds of exclusive boutiques and shops all around (Agnes B, APC, American Apparel, Stella Cadente, Antoine et Lili, Habitat...), numerous restaurants and delicatessens of all types and prices, bars, pubs and wine bars galore, and all the best that Paris has to offer.
The location is generally very practical, being both very near two railway stations, and the historical inner centre of Paris. Three metro stations within 3-10 minutes' walk, as well as many bus routes and the Velib bicycle hire in the street make the apartment the perfect base for all your Parisian adventures.
With this apartment you will experience the best of Parisian living within a most charming neighborhood.

I can't imagine a better place to stay if you really want to experience Paris as a Parisian. This apartment is clean, quiet, well equipped, and comfortable. Chloe and her manager are well organized and think of every detail. It was a pleasure to be able to come "home" every evening and unwind from a day of sightseeing in Paris, which can be overwhelming. The local restaurants were as good or better than the ones we found downtown. The apartment gets a nice breeze and we were fine in early September without air conditioning, which is rare in Paris. If you stay here, which I highly recommend, do be aware that the hot water is very hot! Always mix it with some cold water and don't touch the hot water side of the shower faucet.
My sister in law and I wanted two weeks in Paris so we could antique shop, browse the second hand shops and check-out the weekend flea markets. This apartment in the 10e was the perfect location. Not only was Chloe and her manager the most accommodating I've encountered, but the apartment was fully equipped, had a HUGE bathroom complete with washer/dryer and the beds were divine! The apartment is situated to the back of a courtyard and provides the most quiet restful sleep you can imagine. My sister in law slept in the bedroom (queen bed) and I on the king size sofa bed. SOOOO comfortable!! The major train stations are a 7 min walk away, two major metros just a short 5-10 min walk. Getting to the major attractions (Louvre, D'Orsay, Eiffel, etc.) was an easy metro ride or a lovely 20-30 min walk if you are so inclined. The neighborhood of the 10e is very local - not touristy, with the Canal St. Martin a short 4 min walk from the apartment. I walked about almost every night after dinner and never felt intimidated or frightened. (I'm female and over 60). The variety of cuisine in this area abounds and you can enjoy well prepared fare for reasonable prices. I am trying to write an honest review without getting too gushy, but all I can say is I would book again and again.
My wife and I stayed at Chloe's apartment for 2-weeks. Short walk to the metro and from there you can get to anywhere. Each day we did the tourists sites and were always glad to get back to "our" neighborhood. The canal is only a block away and is a nice place to sit and relax. We have stayed at several VRBO rentals and this is the best equipped. There were extra French plug adapters and numerous guide books. The best was a box called "City Walks" Paris cards. We used several cards and found the oldest candy store in Paris, the last vineyard in Paris, etc. Really a great adventure doing the walks. Great bakeries, restaurants, and butcher shop close by. Chloe makes it easy for you because she lists her favorite places and where they are at, so you don't wander around not knowing where to find places. She also marks how to use the appliances in English, which was a great help. Her manager was very prompt to meet us and check us out. It was a pleasure to deal with Chloe and her manager. We used G7 taxi service, which we booked via a phone call (for some reason they can't handle American phone numbers on their web site, so just call their English speaking line) to get to the train station when we left. They were on time, so I recommend them.
I've stayed in several apartments in Paris and this was the quietest and most economical. I'm already working on my next trip so we can stay here. The apartment was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. I'm fussy about beds - my client preferred something firmer, so she got the bedroom. The king futon was good for me - I need something softer. Chloe was so nice and her managers were very helpful. I love this neighborhood so much, many great restaurants and very hip! I'm afraid I'll never get any other recommendations for my website about Paris since I don't want to stay anywhere else.
My only suggestion is to be sure to actually unlock the building door with the help of the manager when she checks you in. It's an old lock and needs just a little finesse (and perhaps a glass of wine!)
Thank you Chloe and I hope to contact you again very soon!
This charming apartment is perfectly located for exploring the Canal Saint-Martin area, as well as the rest of the 10th arrondissement. The street is full of history as well as boutiques, restaurants, patisseries and even a market. There are many nearby bus choices (the bus is an ideal way to see Paris) and a close metro stop. The apartment is itself is off the street and very quiet and peaceful. The gleaming hardwood floors are stunning and there are long, elegant velvet curtains over the windows. The kitchen is well-equipped with all you need to prepare a dinner to eat at the antique round dining table. The bathroom is quite spacious for Paris. I especially appreciated how organized everything is, with easy to understand instructions. The owner is warm and attentive. The final touch: the guardien has a sweet old golden retriever you can pet on your way in and out. I am always in dog withdrawal when I travel and appreciate a friendly tail wag. You can't go wrong with this flat!
We stayed for three weeks during April and May and found this apartment to be an ideal home away from home. It is clean, comfortable, well-appointed and reasonably priced. Communications with Chloe were always pleasant and easy, and the building manager was very prompt and helpful.
After a day of sight seeing in the busy tourist areas, it was so nice to come back to the relative calm of the 10th arrondissement. The main tourist attractions can be reached by a pleasant 40-minute walk, starting along the beautiful Canal St. Martin, and the Metro and train stations are nearby.
