3-4 Bedroom, 2 Bathroom, Sleeps 8 -Distant Water View & Just 1 Block To Seawall
Our family of four love the ocean state and all it has to offer! We enjoy the sun and surf and want to share our love for the ocean with others.
Will purchased this House in 2013
Why Will chose Narragansett Pier
Location, location, location! Our family fell in love with this beach house because of its proximity to the ocean, beaches, and restaurants. This had always been our favorite street in Narragansett because it is quiet and private. So close to the water, yet, there is no need to pass down the street unless you live here. We enjoy surfing, boating, fishing, paddle boarding, kayaking, and beach going, as a family -- all of which you can enjoy here!

Perfect for us.
The house was great for us! Short walk to the sea wall and town beach, decent bike ride to Scarborough beach. Quiet neighborhood. Recommended.
The house suited our needs perfectly. We were 3 adult couples. The kitchen was well equipped. Walking distance to the beach.
We area family of five and we stayed for a week. The house was great. The main floor is very open and comfortable. The house had everything we needed, nothing too fancy but very clean... the floors are all hardwood, the kitchen is granite, the couch is leather. Also, it was very hot the week we stayed and the window air conditioning units were more than sufficient to cool the rooms. We will return next year to this house.
Fantastic location, house is a dump.
Great location, but that's it. Yes, that is a dead tree you see in the front yard. In 15 years we have never rented a house so minimally furnished and poorly maintained. We should've know it wasn't going to get better when we saw the 2 notices stuck to the front door from the Narragansett police department. The main bathroom had a make-shift door, VERY slow draining tub, stained grout and broken towel rack. The pergo flooring in the living room had
nails sticking up. The make-shift window AC units were filthy and barely cooled the house. There weren't enough dining chairs or dinner plates for the 8 people that could stay there. We couldn't even read at night because there were no lamps! Or curtains in the bedrooms, for that matter. Who knew lamps and window-coverings were considered amenities? The cleaning people left food in the refrigerator and freezer, and dirty towels in the bathroom. The driveway had tree branches over-hanging that scraped our car, and the deck and the stairs leading to it were a slippery, mossy, peeling mess. Did I mention the carpenter ants? This was a our first time using VRBO, we have always used rental agencies. They have standards. Lesson learned.
Great House / Great Location
We have stayed here for 3 straight years and this is my first review. The location is great. We walk to restaurants, the beach and we take our young grandchildren to the nearby park. The house is good size with a nice open large living area upstairs. We always end up hanging out there or outside on the deck. There is a nice size yard for the kids and the street is very quiet and perfect for families. We will be back this year again!
Definitely will return
The property and house are great families and friends. We traveled with another couple and their 5 year old and we had a great time. The location of the house is in the pier area and close to the seawall and restaurants. The house itself is clean and the layout upstairs is awesome. It has a large common room with big table and a kitchen with 4 stools around the counter. There is nothing too fancy about the house but it had everything we needed and it was comfortable and clean. We are planning on returning next summer.
The Narragansett Pier is a perfect place to vacation with family or friends with lots to do for everyone. Most say Narragansett has the best beaches and the best people watching in Rhode Island, as you will see a mix of kids, teenagers, adults, sunbathers and surfers alike. Within walking distance to fun bars and restaurants to suit any budget. Grab some fish and chips less than 1/4 mile from the house at Monahan's and sit at their picnic tables or the sea wall, your preference. BYOB favorite Marko's Restaurant, offers the best hummus and Mediterranean fare. Numerous bars have a fun summer and year-round crowd. And, for those looking for a fine night of dining or romance, there are plenty of offerings.
