The location really is great, and check-in was easy. Unfortunately, that’s where the good news ended for us. After traveling overnight, we were exhausted and just wanted to rest, but as soon as we laid down we felt gross and couldn't rest...we couldn't get past the fact that the bed had a strong nasty odor. It reminded me of my son's room was a teenager after soccer practice.I asked for clean sheets, and instead was sent a laundry receipt. Helpful (actually, not really). The receipt didn’t change the fact that the bed itself smelled of old sweat. Beyond that, the overall condition of the property felt tired and run down — not at all what we expected based on the listing.Rather than going back and forth with the owner, we chose to move to another place so we could actually enjoy our time in Buenos Aires. Only after we had already left did the host offer to send someone to reassess and replace the linens. And when I asked to be refunded, but got no response. In short: great location, but this is not a place I’d recommend.
