The Blue Bear Classic Chalet w/ BBQ, Large Backyard, Fire Pit

This is a newly renovated 5-bedroom Swiss-style chalet. It's the centre unit of the Chalet Blue triplex building. It comfortably accommodates max of 12 people. It comes with modern conveniences such as Wi-Fi and 4K Netflix. *** LINENS AND TOWELS ARE PROVIDED! *** It's situated at a cul-de-sac, backing onto a forest, and just a short 3-min drive or 15-min walk to the busy Blue Mountain Village. We are family friendly, and we love dogs. Our goal is to provide you with a superbly clean, safe and comfortable stay with access to all the outdoor activities in Blue Mountain.

Overview of The Blue Bear Chalet:

This chalet has huge backyard with soccer field like lawn and backs onto a conservation area with lots of trees including a hiking trail.

The swiss-style chalet has an open concept top floor featuring super high ceiling with exposed wood beams. Kitchen, dining room and living room are all on the top floor making it a great place for families and friends to dine and hang out. You can see the beautiful Blue Mountain right from the living room. There's a large balcony at the back end of this top floor with Broil King natural gas BBQ and a picnic table to enjoy your gourmet food outdoors.

The ground floor has 2 bedrooms (2 twin/single beds in each room) and 2 newly renovated bathrooms.

The lower level has a large game room equipped with TV. And there are 3 more bedrooms on this level with double size beds.

(There are two more similar 5-bedroom chalets in this triplex building that can be rented either individually or combined to host up to 36 guests in total.)

Kitchen:

The kitchen is fully equipped with stove, oven, microwave, pots, pans and utensils that you would need to cook a gourmet meal. There are also toaster, coffee maker and Keurig coffee machine for a warm breakfast. In addition, there is also a Broil King natural gas BBQ on the back balcony. Whatever you want to cook, we've got you covered. All you need to bring is your food materials, secret sauce and favourite seasoning. Finally there is a dishwasher to do the dishes so that you can sit back and enjoy your vacation after a wonderful meal.

Dining room:

A 7-foot-long harvest table in the dining room will provide comfortable seating for your group while they enjoy the gourmet meal that you just prepared!

Living room:

The large living room has a massive brick fireplace to provide a warm ambiance. Over the fireplace is a large 55" smart TV with Rogers cable, 4K Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, YouTube, etc. Through the windows on the front side of the chalet, you will see the beautiful Blue Mountain.

Bedrooms:

There are 2 bedrooms on the main floor with 2 twin/single beds in each room. They will guarantee you a good night sleep after a busy day of skiing, hiking, mountain biking or just relaxing.

There are 3 more bedrooms on the lower level with double size beds. In addition, also on the lower level, the game room sofa can be pulled out and turned into a sofa bed.

Each bed is equipped with two pillows and a comforter.

Entertainment:

Unlimited high-speed internet!!! We have gigabit internet with powerful mesh wi-fi system through the whole building. I can confidently say that we have the fastest internet among all vacation rentals in Blue Mountain. The 55-inch smart 4K TV is hooked up with Rogers cable including all your favourite sports channels. And it also has built-in Netflix and Amazon Prime Video apps with accounts already logged in, so you can watch your favourite Netflix or Amazon Prime shows! Or everyone can stream their own movies on their own mobile devices if you can't all agree on what to watch on the big screen. If there's a special event happening that you want to watch via Pay Per View, I can make it happen too. (I once ordered a live UFC fight match for a guest. The game room on the lower level also has a 55-inch 4K TV with Netflix, Amazon Prime Video & YouTube as well.

Kids stuff:

As a father of three, I know what it's like to travel with little ones. If there's anything you need for your little one, be it high-chair, playpen or plastic eating dish, I'll try my best to arrange it for you before your arrival.

Guests have private access to the entire chalet.

I communicate with guests via email or phone/text as much as you need/want. We go above and beyond to make your vacation the most enjoyable one.

I'll try to meet and greet guests upon the arrival. During your stay, I'll be just a text message/phone call away. My local property management company will be available to assist in case of any urgent care that need to be done locally.
