Make yourself at home in the brand new Oaken House where peaceful nature meets lakeshore living. Enjoy the healing of our 3 person infrared sauna. Dine or relax in our oversized 40x10 screen porch. Take a walk or golf cart(included) on our mile long private nature trail loop or head down to the private pickleball court, kids playset, and zero elevation sandy beach where you have 700 feet of sandy shoreline all to yourself with manicured lakeside lawn areas perfect for a picnic or yard games. Bring or rent a boat and cruise over to the famous Zorbas or Beach Bums, 2 restaurants just 5 minutes by boat or car. The walleye fishing is known for being the best in the state for catching an easy meal. Stop by Glendalough state park, Balmoral golf course, or Big Fish Kayaks for ice cream, All are just 5 minutes by car away! Upgrade your stay to include grocery or beverage delivery services, animal care services, bike, boat, jetski, or pontoon rental as well. We aim to bring any service to your needs for you and your family during your stay!

The house was beautiful, everything brand new. The only issue we had were quite a few fruit flies. The owner was very responsive, and I would highly recommend this location.

Beautiful home and very clean! Located close to both Ottertail and Battle Lake for any last minute things. We had a 3 year old with us, so nice to have some toys in the house and for the beach. The beach was a little further than we thought from the house, but love that a golf cart was provided. Only downfall for our family was that it was listed as a 4 bedroom home, but it is only 3 bedroom. The bonus room was not available and we had hoped to use that as an additional sleeping room.

Another great stay

This is our second time staying at this property however this was our first time in the summer months. Jack was very responsive to our questions and needs. We thoroughly enjoyed the wonderful Sandy Beach. The covered porch was amazing to have in the summer to keep out all of the bugs. The property was very private and secluded with a great fire pit, we enjoyed our stay and will be back again!

Wedding get away

We stayed at this wonderful home with my immediate family for a wedding nearby. The home was well appointed and had all of the creature comforts one would expect. There were beautiful walking trails on the property for our morning walks! I highly recommend staying at this home!

Winter getaway

We had a great four day stay at Oaken House! Highly recommend. Very comfortable, clean and beautifully decorated. The kitchen had all we needed to cook meals for 8. Comfortable beds. The home is in a beautiful setting in the woods where we saw deer wander through the yard. Jack was very flexible to accommodate a late check out.

Great stay at the Oaken house!

Right from seeing the property from the outside, you know it's a clean and quiet area that makes it perfect for a family getaway! There's plenty of child friendly dishes and toys for kids of all ages. Plenty of amenities including a infrared sauna and big patio to relax! I also enjoyed that Jack was able to communicate in a timely manner with any question I had! Anybody staying here will have a great time and we can't wait to come back again!

We live on Otter Tail lake and our kids go to Battle Lake School. We wanted to build a space to share with others to feature the amazing life Otter Tail Lake and the surrounding area has to offer.

We developed this neighborhood to bring a wooded and nature feel to lakeshore property. In Norwood there are wild animals and an abundance of untouched nature. Norwood brings nature and lake living together.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

As a new development, The Oaken house is the first home in a 14 lot neighborhood so this year in 2025 you will have all of the 30 acres of space all to yourself. All 700 feet of sandy beach, pickleball court, playset, nature trails just for you. In the years to come more homes will come and the space will become shared over the 13 other neighbors.
