Brockway Lakeview Cabin: Perfectly Located (minutes) From Attractions Or Stay In
Lived in Tahoe for most of my life, high elevation 8,500 and lots of snow is instinctual for me. This Cabin however sits at a nice lower elevation of approx 6,600 ft and a lot less snow.
Stella purchased this Cabin in 2000
Why Stella chose Brockway
I wanted to live lower elevation with the things I was accustomed to: forest, lake views but with easier access to town and the lake. I also owned two (rescue) wolves at the time and specifically needed the forest (we walked away from civilization) and they could have their own space (for me near town and trails).
What makes this Cabin unique
Has it all: Privacy yet close to Town. Peaceful views Mountains and Lake yet the Casino's are walking distance if you want to dine, see some music or gamble. You can back country the back yard (any season). Even a launch sight for para gliders. I can walk to the lake. Historic area: 1800's Brockway Hotsprings, Hotel/Casino,- Mark Twain, etc.. 1900's Bonanza, Rat Pack, Mafia, etc.. 2000's Ski Area's & Environmental Legacy...

We enjoyed our stay in this nice little cabin. It was clean and quiet. We enjoyed our happy hour on the deck with a beautiful view. Stella was very gracious and quick to answer questions and give us guidance on things to see and do. I also highly recommend getting a facial from Stella. It was one of the best I’ve ever had. I came home feeling and looking really fresh and relaxed. It was a fantastic getaway.
Quaint cabin overlooking the lake
Nice cute cabin with lots of character, close to hwy 28 can walk to Kings Beach and the casinos.
Perfect location for a quiet getaway, yet still convenient for Kings Beach's shops and restaurants.
Stella was on hand to give us a comprehensive handover and assured us she would be available to assist with anything we needed.
The cabin had lovely lake views, plenty of hot water and comfortable beds. Can't really ask for much more! In hindsight we both wish we'd booked a longer stay.
If the occasion ever arises that we're back in the vicinity, we'll be looking at Brockway first.
Thanks again Stella for your hospitality.
Cozy cabin in North Tahoe
The cabin was built in 1947 as a summer retreat. It has all the charms and quirks of an old cabin. Stella, the owner, has done a great job of modernizing the place without losing its old-style charm. She is continuing to update and and renovate as time permits. The cabin is in a quiet, forested area of North Tahoe away from the craziness of much of the rest of Tahoe. It has a fabulous view of the lake and we spent a lot of time on the deck having meals and enjoying the beautiful scenery and wonderful forest smell. A bear cub visited the first morning to greet us. It is close to several great beaches and many wonderful hikes are within a short drive. And having Stella as host is the best part of the experience. She is a Tahoe native and knows everything you need to know about the neighborhood. She makes you feel at home as soon as you arrive and ensures you have a great visit. Thanks for everything, Stella, we hope to be back soon.
This was so much better than a hotel. Great views of lake and snow fall mountains. Stella was a great host...easy access to all the small villages. The north end is very quiet if ur looking to relax.
Thank you and welcome Texas visitors and now friends. I am glad you enjoyed your cabin stay as well as the location for your needs here in North Lake Tahoe. We look forward to seeing you again next Touneament..
This was an incredibly charming little cabin. Stella has done a wonderful job upgrading and maintaining it. Her communication was outstanding and the location was quiet, peaceful, and had a beautiful view of Tahoe. Our experience was a real treat through and through.
