Great cabin

Clean and comfy. We had everything we needed. But then again, we just needed a place to sleep and shower and this was perfect.

The cabin was very cute and the beds were comfortable. Unfortunately, when we checked in, a young man and a couple of young women were already inside. They said their code didn’t work for their cabin, so they used ours and decided to stay in our cabin. They had showered, cooked, and left trash and wrappers behind. We asked them to go to their correct cabin, and they left. I reached out to the host, who replied later and said they would handle it, but no discount was offered. I’m sure the cabin was clean before the mix‑up, but we ended up cleaning it ourselves and using our own towels and supplies. The cabin itself was great, really the check‑in issue was the only downside.

Exactly what advertised as

Being that clise to the highway it was quieter than we thought it would be. Reminded me of the hunting cabin my dad took me to when i was young. Nothing fancy but a place to sleep and do what you want outside in the day. Would have given a 5 star but some toothpaste on the mirror.

As ranch wives we love to serve and host others! In 2021 we decided to take the leap and purchase our first property in Martin, SD. Then in 2023, we expanded to Valentine, NE and now the Black Hills. On top of being mothers we found our other calling. We hope you enjoy your stay!
