Our stay was excellent!

  • 5 of 5

We loved Owls nest. It was more than accommodating. It was a little peace of heaven. Beautiful place and area. The walk to the beach was short and fun with my 2 and 7 year old granddaughters. It was very unfortunate that we got so much rain that week especially after months of good weather. Our sons wedding was very wet but beautiful regardless.thank you so much for everything. We hope to come back for the tulip festival. We appreciated the house being equipped with everything. The only thing we needed was a wine bottle opener. Lol

Really nice cottage. Area is beautiful as well. Lake Michigan was awesome as the water temperatures are at their peak this time of the year.

Perfect Vacation Home at the Lake

  • 5 of 5

The listing was accurate - even though the pictures are beautiful we were still surprised on how spacious and clean everything was. In the beginning of the week we had 7 adults, 2 children and a pekingese and then it was just my husband, I and our dog. At no time did we feel crowded - the kitchen is a wonderful size for several cooks, the deck has so much seating we could have invited the neighborhood and there were plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. The home is decorated nicely and contained absolutely everything you could want or need.

Kathy was a wonderful host and made sure that everything was just perfect.

Wish we could have stayed longer ... maybe next time!

Great place, even in winter

  • 5 of 5

We have been gathering as a family (7 adults, 2 children) for the last few years for a few days between Christmas and New Years. This is one of the nicest places we have stayed in. Plenty of space, good beds, comfortable furniture, beautiful bathrooms. No dining room table, but there was enough room for the folding tables we found in the basement closet. The long, narrow winding drive might prove challenging in normal, snowy weather - dry for our stay. We walked to the lighthouse every day.
