i love the out doors and this property is in the center of outdoor adventure. No crowds here! The only business in town that is open is the Shell station down by the interstate. This is a GHOST TOWN !
Jim lindsey purchased this mobile home in 2012
peace and quite! wild life! Indian art 3 miles up the canyon! Hidden treasure trove of Dino tracks . Beautiful cliff trails that can be driven by atv or in some cases, car! Antelope herds travel through Town! Spectacular Trails!
I rode out of town July 3 2012 on my atv and rode all the way to Arizona ( 504 miles one way!) Never crossed private property!!! Saw antelope and bufalo herds on the way!
We enjoyed our stay at Ballard RV. The "Tiny House", as our daughter called it, was clean & cozy, with a stocked kitchen and worked well for the four of us. The location was about a 30 minute drive to beautiful Arches and Canyonlands National Parks, and the price was more reasonable for us than in Moab. There was a problem the week we were there with the internet service, it was spotty at times. Our son needed to work on an online dual credit class, Jim opened up his office area and allowed our son to sit there, where there was a stronger internet signal, and finish his course work. We thought that was really nice. We would stay again if in the area.
The property was exceptionally clean, which, is important to me. It was also nice and quiet at night. Yes, it is quite a drive to food or groceries, but it did not bother me. The property was really nicely stocked with basic amenities (pots, utensils, trash bags, dish soap, etc.) I would stay again and definitely recommend anyone else to give this place a shot!
Fantastic spot to stay away from it all. Great places with everything you need in a small ghost town. Stayed twice with Ballard RV and can't wait to start planning the next trip.
Our stay in unit 2 at adventure was perfect. We wanted an overnight near Moab so we could visit Arches without being too far from route 70. The unit was clean and had just enough space to fit our family of 4 for an overnight (the kids had fun playing up in the loft space too). The highlight of our stay was visiting the abandoned town right next to the park - it made for some great photos. This is the place to stay if you are looking for a budget rental near Arches (it was only a .5 hour drive).
We don't have enough great things to say about our stay here. My husband, myself and our kids had a wonderful time. The house was very clean and had everything that we needed for our stay. Jim and Sandy were very easy to work with; were there when you needed them and otherwise left you to your own. We would highly recommend staying here and would love to come back someday.
We loved staying here it was clean, comfortable, quite and a short drive to the national parks. We loved driving into the canyons and looking at the ghost town. Grilling steaks on the porch while watching the sunset. Could not ask for better accommodations!
