Escape to a private wooded cabin bordering Shawnee State Forest, where guests can unplug, soak in the hot tub, and enjoy quiet nights under the stars. The Little Smokies Escape blends cozy cabin charm with practical comfort, including fast Starlink WiFi, self check-in, and relaxing indoor and outdoor spaces.

The space

The cabin is spacious and warm — queen log bed in the master, bunk room with queen bottom and full XL top, comfortable living spaces with room to actually exhale. Well-equipped kitchen with the essentials. Everything you need, nothing you don't.



Outside: covered hot tub on the back deck, fire pit in the yard, and 2.8 wooded acres backing directly into Shawnee State Forest.

The cabin sits in a real forest — seasonal insects are part of that. We take active prevention steps but an occasional bug may appear. A small trade-off for a lot of wild, beautiful peace.

Great location, the house was very clean, and in the perfect location. Only about 19 minutes to Portsmouth that has some great food. Also the hot tub was great after a long day of hiking.. We will definitely be back!

Such a clean, cozy cabin for a week away! My husband and I loved our stay and everything the cabin had to offer. It has everything you need to cook meals, relax, explore outdoors, and disconnect. There isn’t cell service (was a plus for us), but the internet was great and I was able to work remotely for a few days. The hot tub was a nice bonus too. You’re in the middle of nowhere and still within 15 minutes of driving distance to get groceries or any essentials. Andrea was awesome to communicate with and incredibly helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back!
