BEST place to stay in Santa Fe!

  • 5 of 5

This was are 2nd time staying in Lynn's casita and I don't think I'd want to stay anywhere else. The house is bright, cheery, very clean and so convenient to all that Santa Fe has to offer.

My husband and I like to walk so this casita offers a great starting and ending point from which to strike out and walk the downtown area. Whether going to the Plaza or Railyard district, even Canyon Road. There's plenty of restaurants within walking distance and even a major grocery store.

I couldn't recommend it higher. It's a must stay!

Loved fenced patio

  • 4 of 5

The place is just right size for two people and two dogs. I was great to have the fenced area. The only negative is that it is on the busy street. Enjoyed this location very much.

Valentine's getaway with my wife

  • 5 of 5

We loved our stay. Property had everything you need. Would definitely recommend and will use again. Do wish there was a t.v. in bedroom for late night watching or morning laziness, otherwise perfect.

Great Santa Fe casita

  • 4 of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed our 10 day stay. The casita was very clean and comfortable. The location was great, close to the plaza, the shopping center, buses and the rail runner station. We loved the back patio and BBQ. The only downside was the fact that we had no wi-fi after our first day.

So Comfortable!

  • 5 of 5

This is a lovely casita in a great location near the Plaza. The furnishings were so comfortable and attractive including the bed. My son and I had lots of room to spread out and Lynn was so responsive in answering our questions. The only minor glitch was that the wifi didn't work at first because we didn't have the password. It worked after a day or so and all was well.

Good location

  • 2 of 5

This casita was in close walking distance to the Plaza & shops, though the street is as busy as other reviewers have stated. Once we figured out the parking it was very convenient (you don't park in front of the casita but around the back instead). The enclosed patio area was private but not really suited to let our dog out in. The owner was responsive when we called with requests for a few items & she came by within an hour. The casita is very spacious, but we did not feel that it was very clean. The floors had been vacuumed but not washed & there were layers of dust on many surfaces. The bedding had a bad smell to it, even after we washed the pillowcases ourselves. The casita is showing signs of wear, not having been well-maintained, with dry rot evident on windows & doors. Although this casita was so convenient to downtown, we would not stay here again.

Owner's Response: Dear Guest: I'm sorry that you didn't feel that my casitas were up to you expectations. They are professionally cleaned. I don't understand the issue you had with the linens, they are washed in high powered machines with non-scented detergent. As for the wood floors, they are cleaned and mopped regularly. You did arrive with a dog that might have contributed to hair and cleanliness issues. I spoke with you on arrival and delivered extra essentials, If there was an issue, it should have been addressed then. I take great pride in my casitas and the guest needs. If there is something that I can do to remedy this experience, let me know, rather than giving me an unfair review. Lynn
