With four spacious bedrooms, including a master suite, and three bathrooms, there's plenty of room for everyone. Enjoy the cozy ambiance of an indoor fireplace, unwind in the hot tub after a day of exploring, and create lasting memories enjoying the pool table, air hockey, playset, original Super Nintendo, PlayStation and more! Ideally located near tons of trails and only 20 miles from Skiing Breckenridge and 30 min from the hot springs in Buena Vista. Thick Spike Lodge provides the perfect base for your Colorado getaway.

Located in a quite residential area. Please observe quiet hours of 9:30pm to 8am as the neighbors live there year round.

Other Things to Note:

Although the roads to the cabin are pretty flat and it is at a lower elevation close to the highway in the winter time when driving anywhere in the mountains good snow tires or chains are required and we recommend you also have AWD or 4WD.

Everything was lovely, however there were no mixing bowls or glasses for drinks. We had to purchase plastic cups. We enjoyed our stay very much.

The cabin was clean and beautiful. The kids shad plenty to do when we were there- which honestly wasn’t often as we were out enjoying Colorado! The host was very responsive to my messages. All in all it was a clean beautiful place to stay.

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful cabin. We had my grand children, 7 family members and 3 dogs. Beautiful sunsets, the Milky Way and we had 4 rainbows in one day! My grandkids 9 and 12 didn’t watch tv play video games or were not on their phones. We saw an elk, Moose and lots of little chipmunks. We went on several walks in the woods right behind the cabin. So enchanting! Two man made teepees. Nobody wanted to go anywhere. We will definately go back!!!

The property was beautiful!! It was extremely clean. The owner provided their personal cell number and responded immediately with any questions or concerns we had. We would love to stay here again in the future. The property was so relaxing and comfortable. It has so many amenities. Thank you for being such amazing hosts!
