1 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom, first story Condo/Studio directly on the beach. Shaded deck area and large patio to enjoy the best sunsets on Anna Maria Island. Seat in your porch and enjoy Florida's native vegetation that surrounds our property including protected Sea Oates and if you are lucky a turtle nest. Two chase lounges are provided for your sun bathing enjoyment as well as patio furniture for your deck consisting of a table and 4 chairs.

Studio/apt. has been updated with all new Stainless Steel kitchen appliances , kitchen cabinets and new bedding and a flat screen TV. The unit sleeps 6. There is a queen bed in the bedroom which is separated from the family room by a new accordion door where there are two double futons (each futon sleeps 2). There is small 8x20 heated pool on site. A charcoal and a gas grill is available in the BBQ/patio area for your cooking enjoyment. Charcoal and fuel are NOT PROVIDED. A gas exchange tank is available for refills if you prefer a gas grill. A new custom made double SS charcoal BBQ grill has been added for your cooking enjoyment. This unit has LOW CEILING and is not recommended for guests taller than 6'1" -6'2.( VRBO # 552126 is recommended as it has Cathedral Ceiling).This unit has parking for ONLY ONE CAR. Wifi enabled! Large window AC/Heat unit controls the temperature. Everything you need for a perfect beach vacation!!

Not worth the money

The unit is basically a dank basement. There was a large dehumidifier that had to be emptied 2-3 times a day due to the dampness. It's small, has very low ceilings and thin walls. You can hear every step or chair moving upstairs. My allergies went crazy in this unit.The only good quality it's that you can walk right to the beach from the unit but you can't see or hear the ocean from the patio due to the fact that you have to actually walk up 5 stairs to be on the beach. We paid for 6 nites but left after 4 nites and paid to stay somewhere else. This was our 1st time staying on Anna Marie Island and before we left we reserved a lovely, full 1 bedroom, 1.5 bath with a balcony that you can actually see and hear the ocean, for next year. This unit for Spring Break 2018 is less for 7 nites than we paid for this unit for 6 nites! Keep looking!

Beach, white sands, crashing waves and many great sunsets!

Give me a place to stay on the beach, beautiful white sand and a lovely sunset to be viewed with friends and this is what I call Paradise! The unit was clean and appropriate for a beach rental. Looked like some updating had recently been done.The full kitchen allowed us to eat in. Located on ground floor you walked out the sliding doors directly onto private deck with table and chairs then onto area shared by other 4 units complete with patio furniture, grill and fire place. Just a couple steps up to a well kept beach and waves splashing ashore. I use a cane so this place was perfect! My husband is six feet tall and had no trouble with the height of the ceiling. There was a step going from the bedroom to the living area. To avoid taking a flying leap we placed a kitchen chair at the step to remind us the step was there and also give myself something to hold onto. There was an air conditioner but we did not have to use it with the lovely ocean breeze from the sliding door. Frank, the owner, was easy to work with and checked in to see that everything was ok and make sure we enjoyed our visit. There was also a manager that stopped by to see if we needed anything.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Would definitely come back. Thanks Frank for sharing this with us:)

Awesome family spot!

We had the pleasure of staying here for Memorial Day in 2014 and had to return for Thanksgiving! I love this location for family as it's right on the sand and the baby monitor signal reaches to the beach! Frank keeps the property clean and updated with everything we need from towels, outdoor grill to coffee pot and patio furniture. Love it, especially the sunsets!

Needs some work

Although it says it was remodeled, and yes the appliances are new- it is not in great shape. The smell (from the cabinets and drawers) was musty and unpleasant ( I had to buy air freshener) and we couldn't keep clothing in the drawers because of the smell. The location was good and the access to the beach is awesome. The bed was comfortable, as was the futon. It was ok for us and our two toddlers- but definitely not big enough for four adults, much less 6, should be listed as a studio. Also, if it is listed as sleeping up to 6- I was confused why we only had 4 bath towels (which were very rough). Wi-fi access was non-existent in this unit and was frustrating to try to get signal. It was clean, TV was nice with DVD player but for the price I expected much better quality.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your stay and comments. Unfortunately we had a lot of rain before your arrival and even some during your stay to the point that our back yard flooded and we had to remove the wooden deck as it floated in our back yard. This added to the small you noticed. The deck is now pavered and it should eliminate some of the outside smell that came thru the sliding glass door facing the beach. Even after the pavers were done, there was still a little musty smell in the unit so we are placing an air extractor and have ordered new kitchen cabinet which should correct your complaint. Unfortunately there is not much we can do bout WIFI and phone reception. I recently had Verizon check the system out and the replaced the modem with the latest available version and to be honest the guests tell me that there was some improvement but not much. I have Bright house at some of our other locations and still have the same problem. The problem is that the Island is making it difficulty for the carrier to set up towers and without them reception will not improve significantly. Thank you for your stay and comments. The issues that we can control have already been addressed and are now corrected. The cabinets have been ordered but it will take a few weeks before they are built and installed. Should you decide to stay with us again in a few months, you will find the upgraded that you have suggested in place. Thank you, Frank
