Nice, comfortable holiday home near the salmon lake in the beautiful Dalsland

This cozy villa is rented out in the scenic Dalsland, Billingsfors. The house is close to beautiful hiking trails, lakes, and nature reserves.



It is located in a residential area with its large lawn and lush garden. Here you are shielded from view while having walking distance to grocery stores, restaurants, and other conveniences.

Two bedrooms, one double bed and a bunk bed with a wide lower bunk. In the spacious living room, there is a large sofa that can be used as a sleeping place. There is a smart TV and wifi. From the living room, you can access the house's lovely garden via the large covered terrace. Perfect for rainy summer days!



The beautiful kitchen invites both cooking and shared meals. The kitchen is equipped with everything you might need during your stay, such as a dishwasher, stove, refrigerator/freezer, coffee maker, and electric kettle.

The area consists of fantastic nature, beautiful lakes, forests, beaches, hiking trails, and nature reserves. Around Billingsfors and in Dalsland, there is much to see. Among other things, the Dalsland Canal, where you can take a boat trip, which is very popular. You can hike in the nature reserves around the area and see the different locks. Or why not take a day trip to Steneby, where there is one of the longest zipline tracks in the Nordic countries, as well as an elk park, gold panning for children, and a riding center where adults and children can ride horses. There is also a candy manufacturing factory in Bengtsfors, located about 6 km from your accommodation, as well as Halmen's House.



You can walk/jog/cycle on a nice gravel road all the way to Bengtsfors. You can also drive by car on the gravel road to the lovely beach, about 2km away. Perfect for small children as the water is shallow, and there is a long pier that leads out to deeper water. By the lake, there is also space to set up a campfire. Otherwise, the nearest lake is 500m from the house, Laxsjön, where you can also swim.



There are plenty of activities around Billingsfors, such as Dalslands Activities which offers a wide variety of things. If you are interested in art, you can visit Bengtsfors Art Gallery, as well as Dalsland Art Museum located nearby, or Not Quite which offers many different exhibitions, café/restaurant, bakery, shops.
