The King Coconut Lodge offers you luxurious holiday flats in the midst of impressive nature within walking distance of the picturesque sandy beaches of the south coast of Sri Lanka The King Coconut Lodge is situated on a quiet, large private property within the extensively built-up village of Habaraduwa on the south coast of Sri Lanka, which is characterised by its picturesque sandy beaches. Habaraduwa and the neighbouring villages of Koggala and Unawatuna, together with the historic provincial capital of Galle, form a popular tourist centre. Sri Lanka's largest inland lake, Koggala Lake, can be reached on foot. A plot in a quiet side street in the middle of a palm forest was chosen to allow you to enjoy the tranquillity and closeness to nature. At the same time, the sandy beaches on the Indian Ocean are just a short walk away. Habaraduwa is an ideal starting point for tours to the popular national parks and the highlands.

You can relax and unwind on the 15m² covered terrace.

The guest room is approx. 30 m² in size and is located on the ground floor of the house. It consists of a large living and sleeping area with a very large double bed (200cm x 200cm) and a modern bathroom with shower area.

From Habaraduwa you can reach the provincial capital of Galle with its historic Dutch Quarter by bus and train. The famous Unawatuna Bay is approx. 15 minutes away by tuk-tuk. You will find restaurants, supermarkets and other shopping facilities in the town and the surrounding area, and the lodge staff will be happy to help you.
There is also a golf course on the former airbase within walking distance. You can enjoy your golfing experience with a view of the Indian Ocean.

King Coconut Lodge was deliberately located in the quieter part of Habaraduwa to avoid the noise of the coastal road and railway line and to allow you to enjoy the tranquillity of nature. For stays of 1 week or more, you can take a free tuk-tuk to the beach and back every day if you don't fancy a short walk. In addition, a certain distance from the sea should provide a little more safety in the event of a tsunami. We offer a tour service at the lodge, which gives you the opportunity to go on excursions to the national parks and inland with experienced and trustworthy tour guides.
We can also provide you with an airport transfer for a fee.
