National Forest ligger 100 kilometer frÄn huset; som ligger centralt, men ÀndÄ lugnt och inom gÄngavstÄnd till sjön och allmÀn badstrand och State Park, restauranger, affÀrer, postkontor och livsmedelsbutiker i en vÀnlig och informell staden. Det Àr bara fem kvarter till offentliga sjösÀttning.

Alla stora skidomrÄden ligger inom en 20 mils radie. De kasino pÄ Crystal Bay Àr bara tvÄ miles away. De stora kasinon och Visa Extravaganzas pÄ South Shore Lake Tahoe omrÄdet Àr cirka 45 minuter bort. Reno, Nevada International Airport Àr en direkt vÀg till North Lake Tahoe ungefÀr 40 miles away. The inside was clean, and the beds were comfortable. The exterior is in bad need of a paint job and doesn’t look like the VRBO picture. The WiFi was not reliable. The host was very responsive when notified of the problem. The microwave was finicky. No matter how we tried to disable the child safety lock, the microwave would still not work. On the whole, our stay was very enjoyable

Checkin - you really need to understand how the key lockbox work as it’s not easy to operateKitchen - kitchen does not have dishwasher so you need to hand wash utensils if you use those.Overall - the location is near to kings beach and near to restaurants. However the house is very very old and rundown with the surrounding land full of weed and garden furnitures full of spider webs. Kitchen didn’t have any supply of coffee or sugar.

We really enjoyed staying at this Kings Beach chalet. It was evident that our host took great pride and care preparing the place for our stay. Everything was super clean and well equipped with towels, soaps, lotions, kitchen supplies, bedding, pillows,etc. My only suggestions for improvements are minor, but include that it would be nice to get a quality kitchen faucet, and make sure the mini blinds are dusted. We thoroughly enjoyed this chalet and the neighborhood and its closeness ti the beach. Highly recommended!

Wonderful stay in Kings Beach

Very nice place to stay in Kings Beach for a visit to Lake Tahoe and surrounding area. Would definitely recommend here. Nice back yard and front deck for relaxing if you have time. Neighbors across are nice too

Not a good experience

Check-in process was smooth and location is great. However here were a few challenges we faced - WiFi wasn’t working, fireplace did not start beyond the pilot light. We tried contacting the emergency number with no response. We figured, after reaching the property, about leaking bathroom upstairs from the instructions printed out for the guests, this information wasn’t clearly available while booking the property. On the last night we saw a rodent pass by in the living room in the night. At this point we were just waiting to get out of the property. Overall, not too happy with the stay.

Close and cozy

Very cozy stay with plenty of space and a very well stocked kitchen for cooking. Very close to Lake Tahoe and and very close to Northstar for winter activities. Would recommend to any family wanting a close place to stay in a cozy ski town.

Cute chalet in Kings Beach. Walking distance to many things. Easy to drive anywhere around Lake Tahoe from. Highly recommended!

Family visit to Lake Tahoe

The property was spacious and a good base for Lake Tahoe. We enjoyed our stay here however the property does need to be refreshed as it’s looking worn. It was clean and comfortable but does need updating.

Good but mixed feelings

Kind of mixed feelings about the stay. Positives and superpositives: it is clean, close enough to the beach, the beds are very comfortable, the host is communicative and tries to help. Sleeps 6 if in pairs, comfortably. Negatives: it is more worn out and weathered than it would seem from the pictures, we had not succeeded in making the fireplace to work and, the inside of the chalet and the closets smelled to us of old, wet and unventilated air. The wifi was There is no dishwasher (and correct, it is not advertized, I merely did not notice it)

Great Location

We stayed in this cabin with some friends for an extended weekend and had a great time. The property was perfect for us, and it worked well as a home base for the weekend. The owners communicated well and the cabin was stocked well with everything that we needed. I would recommend this cabin for a small group of people looking for a nice Tahoe getaway.

Really like this Kings Beach neighborhood and the price for this home was perfect! Our basic needs were well met, location is just far enough from Lake Blvd to be away from the summer vacation traffic by the lake.
