Spacious and comfortable, it boasts a large kitchen, dining room, living room with 12ft ceilings, 2 bedrooms + den and 2 bathrooms, all beautifully finished. ** This executive fully furnished listing is available for long term rental starting September. Please send us a message if you are interested, TV, Wifi, and utilities included.

Large master bedroom with an en-suite. Second bedroom upstairs with two beds, a single and a double. Second bathroom located on the main floor.

In suite washer dryer, dishwasher, etc. Big screen high def TV, digital cable, high speed internet, coffee maker, microwave, etc.

All the basic necessities in the kitchen, including organic extra virgin olive oil, balsamic vinegar, chocolate (the only real necessity), etc.

The outdoor patio is great for a BBQ, and they back garden provides a quiet retreat, just a short walk to downtown.

We were so lucky to find this incredible home in the best neighbourhood in the City. Being so close to the beach and Beacon Hill Park is a dream come true, especially since we're just a short walk from tonnes of amenities and downtown.

We love the blend of old world charm and modern conveniences. The house features 11ft ceilings and big windows, the kitchen and bathroom are quite modern and beautifully finished. We also loved the garden in the back of the house - a peaceful retreat from the not-so-hectic Victoria life ;-)

Well located but "tired"

Bright and spacious. Not apparent in the description is the fact that the second bedroom is up a flight of narrow creaky stairs, but the second bathroom is on the main level. The gardens could use some TLC

Very convenient and comfortable house

Everything was in place for a wonderful visit to Victoria. The kitchen was stocked with some basic essentials and a good assortment of cookware. The appliances worked well. We had some cold days and appreciated the effective heating in the house. On snowy days, we rented movies at the Cook Street Village Video Store (which has a very large collection). The beds were comfortable and there was a lot of closet space and storage. The location of this house in James Bay is perfect for visitors who like to walk. There are many choices - Dallas Road, the harbour area, the West Walk to Esquimalt. Public transit is very convenient in Victoria as well. We travelled to Royal Roads University, Cadboro Bay, Oak Bay, Sidney and Thetis Lake. There are so many good restaurants in Victoria, it is hard to select a few.

Great location, quiet area, spacious well cared for home

We had a wonderful stay in Victoria for the month of January. The home was so comfortable, very spacious and had all the amenities we could want. We even entertained family for dinner one night and had everything we needed. The back yard would be great to use in the summer.

The home is just as advertised. It is the main floor of a house with high ceilings and lots of light. It is on a very quiet street just a couple of blocks from the ocean. We enjoyed walking and running along the pathway overlooking the ocean or walking down to the rugged beach.

We walked downtown or to coffee houses, restaurants and grocery stores. Everything is so convenient.

We did rent a car as we wanted to explore more of the area outside of Victoria and there is a parking spot on the property.

We would highly recommend this home for families, couples or friends getting together.

Good value with lots of space

What we liked: spacious living room, full kitchen with all utensils and dishes, dishwasher, tall ceilings, comfy beds and bedding, good internet, location and proximity to down town and even closer full grocery and restaurants.

Not our favourite: steep squeaky stairs

This place was perfect for our group of five running the Goodlife Victoria Half Marathon. I would definitely book it again as it was a good value compared to hotels.

Cabin & the House Review

Amenities and location of both the Cabin & the House are great.

There is plenty of space in both, the general cleanliness of both is also good.

The information that is provided regarding the area is a help to first time and repeat visits.

Only issue to be aware is the street parking, park only in front of 112.

Located in Victoria's best neighbourhood, steps from downtown, the beach, famous Beacon Hill Park, and tonnes of amenities. No need for a car but lots of on-street parking with no restrictions. Great food, wonderful atmosphere - quiet but still close to the action.

Walk to the Empress Hotel, Parliament Buildings, Inner Harbour, Royal BC Museum, restaurants, grocery stores, coffee shops, bank, etc.

The best location in the City.
