Las estancias están decoradas de tal manera que encontrará tanto tranquilidad como luminosidad. We had an outstanding 3 weeks at the Ferme St Roch

We celebrated our birthdays and wedding anniversary over 3 weeks at the farmhouse with family and friends. It was an outstanding time and was enjoyed by guests 9-80! The farmhouse is a beautiful place and was key to our enjoying the village of Robion and the surrounding towns of Provence. All the farmhouse facilities are wonderful and exactly as shown in the website photos. We spent hours enjoying meals in the outdoor kitchen/dining area. Sebastian Jary, one of the owners, is outstanding and was a great help during our stay and was very patient answering our many questions about life in Provence and Robion. We visited 24 nearby ancient villages surrounding Robion during our stay and also went to larger towns Avignon, Marseille, Nimes and St Remy. Market days in many of these towns was a highlight and adventure for all of us. And several of our group were interested in the wine produced in Provence and they enjoyed several wineries and tastings. We loved the farmhouse and it made our trip a memorable event for the whole family and our friends. Thanks to Sebastian for making it all possible. We will be back!!

Prachtig huis met uitmuntende service

Het huis ligt in Robion op een prettige lokatie met bakker, supermarkt, groentewinkel op korte loopafstand. Ook binnen enkele minuten op het dorpsplein met café/restaurant. Het dorp ligt onder aan de heuvels/bergen van de Luberon waar men prachtige wandelingen kan maken. Het huis zelf is van alle gemakken voorzien. De eigenaar zorgt er vanaf het begin af aan voor dat het aan niets zal ontbreken. Zeer comfortabel en sfeervol. Ruime kamers met airco, heerlijk zwembad met goede ligbedden. Indien er iets moet worden geregeld is de eigenaar 24/7 bereikbaar en hij helpt ook bij verzoeken omtrent activiteiten in de buurt of het boeken van restaurants. Zeer behulpzaam! Absolute aanrader voor groep van 10 personen.

A delightful stay

We had a delightful two weeks at La Ferme St Roch at the end of September. The property is lovely, well equipped and well maintained, with spacious bedrooms, modern bathrooms, an excellent kitchen and a beautiful swimming pool. It’s totally private, but once you walk through the gate it’s a convenient, very short walk into town to the bakery and markets. Robion is an ideal location, situated at the foot of the Luberon mountain range and very close to Gordes, Ménerbes, Roussillon, Isle sur Sorgue, St. Rémy and other well-known Provence spots. It’s very easily accessible from either Avignon or Aix en Provence. We usually spent a few hours each day exploring the area and having lunch in one of the nearby towns, then made sure to return by mid-afternoon in time to swim and relax by the pool. One day we took a hike into the Luberon just behind Robion’s old town. We had family and friends with us part of the time, and sometimes it was just the two of us. It couldn’t have been any better. To top it all off, Sebastian was a perfect host. We couldn’t have been more satisfied with the entire experience. Merci mille fois!

Perfect for a family gathering

We have just returned home after a one week stay in Ferme St Roche. Our family group comprised three generations, the youngest a baby of 7 months. I can honestly say that the house worked perfectly for us and we had a wonderful time. Many large holiday rental houses are situated in the country so you need to drive even to buy bread. Not so Ferme St Roche. The house feels quiet and secluded but is only minutes walk to shops, restaurants and Tourist Information if you need it. The outside spaces were particularly appreciated by us. They were well thought out with seating on the terrace for pre dinner drinks, a large table where we ate most evenings and ample pool sun beds. Table tennis and the pool table came in for a lot of use by the more energetic family members and the clean, heated swimming pool had most of us swimming everyday. Last week in Provence was very warm and sunny and when we arrived the fair was in Robion. In addition to the usual rides there was music, dancing and performances which made it feel like a true village event. Finally a word or two of praise for Sebastian who manages the house. He arranged for a cot, high chair and changing table to be in place on our arrival so the baby's needs were well taken care of. He was endlessly helpful and arrived within minutes when we had a small problem so many thanks to him also for the advice and treats which helped to make our holiday so memorable. Christine

Beautiful

From the moment I enquired about the property, right through to the end of the holiday, Sebastian's communication, hospitality and help was second to none. His quick response to any questions or queries we had, really put my mind at rest and we knew very early on that we'd made the right decision in choosing Ferme St. Roch for our holiday. We stayed for two weeks and there were 8 of us (two families of two adults and two children - aged 10 and 14). We were warmly welcomed by Sebastian who gave us a tour of the house. It really is a stunning property, and it is clear that it is a much loved family home, so despite it's large size, still felt very homely. The house is very well equipped, so we had everything we needed during our stay. The interior is lovely and the garden, pool and outside areas are spacious and beautifully kept. There are a handful of cafe/restaurants in Robion but there are more in the surrounding villages i.e Coustellet. A few that we really liked were: Il Momento (Robion), Bistrot Le 5 (Menerbes) and La Maison Gustave (Coustellet). There is a lovely bakery that we visited every morning and a good little supermarket, pharmacy etc. so there is everything you need in walking distance. There are picturesque walks on the doorstep, through the Luberon National Park and lot's of lovely little villages to explore. We had a really lovely holiday and would not hesitate to return to Ferme St Roch. Many thanks Sebastian!

Beautiful house in a great location

I have stayed in many holiday properties in France in recent years and Ferme St Roch is without a doubt one of the best. The house itself is in a perfect location - it is in a small town therefore very close to all amenities (bakery, bar, small supermarket) but it is also very private and not overlooked. With small children it is perfect being able to walk a few minutes to buy ice creams or drinks (or even pizza) without having to get into the car. The quality of the accommodation is very high - comfortable and very spacious, with air conditioning in the bedrooms which is essential in hot summer nights. The swimming pool is very good for children with a stepped entrance and there is also a ping pong table and snooker table to keep them entertained. The dining area is very well shaded, and nicely lit in the evening. The owner lives very nearby in Robion and is incredibly responsive and helpful and clearly wants to ensure his guests have a relaxing stay. Overall I cannot recommend highly enough if you want to visit this area of France. It is also extremely good value for money in my opinion.

Again, a wonderful stay in Ferme St. Roch

It was our fourth stay in Ferme St. Roch. We, again, enjoyed the wonderful garden, the pool, the silence, the barbecues at night and the fully equipped kitchen. Boulangeries, boucherie, fruit and vegetable market as well as country-specific bars in walking distance and the highlights of Luberon not far away. We have to come back to enjoy these amenities as soon as possible. - And: Sebastian, many heartfelt thanks for your hospitality and support!

Une maison de rêve !

Nous avons passé deux semaines exceptionnelles dans cette magnifique maison qui allie le charme incomparable de l'ancien et le confort des équipements modernes. C'est le lieu idéal pour se ressourcer, entre amis ou en famille, un vrai petit paradis idéalement situé qui permet découvrir les plus beaux sites de la région à proximité. L' accueil et la gentillesse du propriétaire est remarquable, tout est fait pour rendre notre séjour fantastique. On a qu'une envie, c'est y retourner !

Wunderschöner Aufenthalt in schönem Farmhaus

Wir waren im Juni 2018 mit insgesamt elf Personen auf der Ferme St. Roch. Üblicherweise hinterlasse ich keine Bewertungen nach einem Aufenthalt. Das liegt unter anderem daran, dass die Beschreibung der Wohnung zusammen mit den meist zahlreichen Bildern das Objekt in der Regel schon sehr gut wiedergibt. Bei Herrn Jary’s Wohnung ist das nicht ganz der Fall: Trotz der ebenfalls zahlreichen und schönen Bilder, kann man den Charme dieses Hauses erst mit dem Betreten der Anlage voll erfassen. Der Außenbereich ist sehr gut gepflegt und ergibt mit der traumhaften, alten Fassade der Farm einen atemberaubend schönen Anblick. Der Innenbereich lässt ebenfalls keine Wünsche offen, wobei die Zimmer mitunter deutlich größer sind, als es die Bilder suggerieren. Während des Aufenthalts fehlt es einem an Nichts, da die Einrichtung mit viel Liebe zum Detail erfolgt ist. So findet man zum Beispiel eine Vielzahl an Elektrogeräten wie Stab- und Cocktailmixer in der Küche, während für die Kinder am optional alarmgesicherten Poolbereich (mit Gegenschwimmanlage) eine große Auswahl an Spielsachen und Schwimmhilfen bereitliegt. Die Farm selbst liegt in dem kleinen, aber schönen Ort Robion, von wo aus sich sehr viele Sehenswürdigkeiten der Provence innerhalb einer dreiviertel Autostunde erreichen lassen. Sébastien ist als Gastgeber sehr herzlich und hält sich während des Aufenthaltes diskret zurück, ist aber jederzeit erreichbar und hilft bei Anfragen aller Art. Daher möchte ich mich bei ihm an dieser Stelle im Namen der ganzen Familie nochmals für den wunderschönen Urlaub bedanken. Zusammengefasst eine Unterkunft, die ich ohne Bedenken weiterempfehlen kann.

A beautiful farmhouse in a wonderful location

We recently stayed in St Roch farmhouse. We comprised a family of three generations which included three babies. The farmhouse provided ample accommodation for all members of the family - the shared reception area was spacious and the different bedrooms were situated to allow everyone privacy and personal space. The beautiful garden was also perfect for our family. There was an inner courtyard with BBQ area and dining table and a garden/pool area. A gate between the courtyard and pool ensured that children were safe. The whole garden was enclosed and very private even though it was moments from Robion and local shops and restaurants. There was plenty of parking on site too. Robion is a lovely old village and the area the village is situated is beautiful and unspoilt. Mr Jary, the owner, ensured that our stay was perfect, recommending wine-tasting, villages to visit and helping us to organise a chef to come and cook for us one night. In all we had a fantastic holiday and we would love to return again.

Ferme St Roch

Every time before going on holiday, I surf the web for hours and hours to search for the best holiday home I can find (size, design, location etc), within my budget. How lucky I was to have found this utterly beautiful house, Ferme St. Roch, for my family vacation in Provence, which was beyond expectations and perfect for us in so many ways. Starting with the fact that this is an authentic 18th century house (hey, how many times in life you get to spend in such a beautifully restored antique mansion…?), and continuing with the lovely interiors: every room are beautifully designed and tastefully decorated, creating a house with a lovely personal atmosphere. The house is full of Art on the walls, tons of Books and many Decorative ornaments. I'm glad I don't fully understand French, as if my French was better, I would have needed a year or two to finish reading all the books that seemed interesting to me. Instead, I just enjoyed looking at the pictures of some Interior Design & Architecture books I have found. Adding to the interior beauty are the magnificent exteriors: A very well-kept garden with a charming inner court yard. There is also a pool and BBQ area and many more pampering facilities (reading room, table tennis, garden dining area etc). Besides beauty, Bedrooms and Public areas of House and Garden are Comfortable and Spacious. Needless to say that everything is very well maintained. Last but not least is Mr Jary, the owner of the house, whose service is beyond words. His warm hospitality started much before our trip had actually began and was very helpful in answering my questions and advising many traveling tips by email. As traveling date came closer, he sent welcoming emails. During our stay he kept in contact & was attentive to all of our needs full heartedly. We were 2 families staying for one week at Ferme St. Roch. My tip for anyone wanting to stay there is to book your stay for more than a week! I think staying a longer period of time can give a better balance between traveling around and home lounging. For us, one week was a bit too short. House is located in Robion, a cute and small village in the Luberon Region. Besides great proximity to many of the Luberon Villages, this house is also a good opportunity to live like-a-local, as many shops are within walking distance.

Unforgettable week

We had an unforgettable week in this amazing villa. The house is warm and full of taste. Each corner and every room is so beautifully decorated and has such a lovely atmosphere. Adding to this, the kind hospitality and service in perfect English. Staying at St Roch’s farmhouse gave the opportunity to indulge in a real provencial style home. This was a unique experience for us. We enjoyed the garden and the pool due to the great weather in October this year. The house is a real gem and we hope to visit soon again.

Superbe vacances

De villa en de omgeving voldeden helemaal aan onze verwachtingen. Hoewel de villa op 8 are gelegen is geeft ze aan alle bewoners de nodige privacy. Elk heeft zijn hoekje indien gewenst. Alle accommodatie is aanwezig en top ! Zowel de keuken als de kamers als het zwembad ! De super service van Sebastien is geweldig. De villa is zeer goed onderhouden en zeer proper. De omgeving is ook prachtig. Zowel fontainde de vocluse , als gordes , minerbes als roussillon liggen zeer dicht in de buurt en zijn absoluut het bezoeken waard. Het plaatselijke stamcafé " café de la poste " op loopafstand van de villa is echt het bezoeken waard. De salade niçoise is overheerlijk. Gewoon een aanrader.

Luxus Traumhaus auf höchstem Niveau

Wir haben eine Woche in Robion, einem idyllischen Ort in der Provence, mit der ganzen Familie verbracht. In der Umgebung gibt es reichlich viel zu unternehmen. Die Kajakfahrt war das Highlight schlechthin. Aber auch die vielen Dörfer mit Ihren typischen Märkten sind immer eine Reise wert. Robion selbst ist ein schöner Ort in dem wir immer ein nettes Restaurant entdeckt haben. Auch Supermärkte befinden sich direkt in der Nähe. Das Anwesen war noch eindrucksvoller als wir es uns durch die Bilder vorstellen konnten! Das Traumhaus schlechthin für einen Urlaub in einem Luxus Domizil das seinesgleichen sucht. Der Besitzer, Sebastian, hat uns erstmal mit seinen guten deutsch Kenntnissen beeindruckt und er tut wirklich ALLES um den Mietern ihren Urlaub zu versüssen. Sehr nett und zuvorkommend besorgte er uns auf Anfrage am nächten Tag extra Auflagen für die Aussen Bestuhlung. Die Einrichtung ist hochklassig, sehr sauber und mit allem ausgestattet was das Herz begehrt. Das Haus ist einfach sensationell. Wenn man in einer Gruppe wert auf persönliche Rückzugs bereiche und mehrere Bäder legt findet man nichts besseres. Wir haben uns extrem wohl gefühlt und es gibt absolut keinen Kritikpunkt. Sicher ist: Wir kommen wieder!!! DANKE Sebastian für diesen einmalig schönen Urlaub!!!!!!!!

Ein Ferienhaustraum im Luberon

Dies war nun schon unser fünfter Aufenthalt in der Ferme St. Roch und ich glaube das spricht schon alleine für sich. Sebastian ist ein fantastischer Gastgeber, er ist sehr aufmerksam und hat ein großes Talent dafür, dass man sich zuhause fühlt, aber gleichzeitig einen erholsamen Urlaub verbringen kann. Der Pool, die Außenanlagen, das Haus ist wirklich wunderbar. Die Lage im Ort ist sehr praktisch, so dass man alles erreichen kann. Wir werden definitiv wiederkommen, es ist unser "happy place" in der Provence :-)

Ideal Luberon villa rental for an extended-family

I can hardly say enough good things about La Ferme St. Roch. We visited in early June (2nd and 3rd weeks) which was an excellent season to visit the Luberon, as the lavender was coming into bloom. Also in bloom were the very extensive jasmine vines lining the walls of the house, and the beauty and scent of the jasmine blossoms were a continual pleasure all throughout our stay. The house has an ideal location for exploring the Luberon, as it is both within the Luberon region and also close enough to other tourist destinations (Avignon, Arles) to permit easy access. In addition to location, the house has an amazingly tranquil sense of peace about it.We were very pleased with the attentiveness and service of Sebastian, the owner/manager, who corresponded with us by email many times in advance of our trip. His English is perfect, BTW.If you plan to visit in peak season, you should plan to book more than a year in advance to get the choice of weeks that you prefer. This was our experience, and even booking a year and a half in advance, the weeks we got were not exactly what we would have preferred. Others have discovered this gem, so you must make your arrangements early.

The perfect house and host

We just ended our week in the house which was perfect. Very spacious and air conditioned rooms, beautiful garden which includes a pool. The house is fully equipped so other than buying some groceries you don't need to bring with you anything. And our host, Sebastian, was sooo nice and helpful. It was a real treat!! We highly recommend!!

Beyond fantastic

Our group of seven, including family and good friends, just returned from a one-week stay at the St. Roch Farmhouse. I cannot say enough good things about both the property itself and the family who owns it, specifically Sebastian, who I had been communicating with for well over a year prior to our stay. The farmhouse is ideally located in the heart of the Luberon, an easy commute from towns like L'isle Sur La Sorgue, Gordes, Apt, Avignon, Saint Remy de Provence etc, but with the additional benefit of providing a more local and less touristy feel, being tucked away in a small village. We were instantly bowled over by our accommodations! The house is truly beautiful, with two gigantic master bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, 2 medium sized bedrooms sharing a bathroom, and a delightful bedroom/bathroom unit bang next to the pool, feeling like a little cottage on its own. My son and his girlfriend were so happy to occupy that unit, especially since they got engaged during our week there. The house also boasts a lovely large living/dining area inside with an equally large family/game room on the upper level. Completed by a fully functional kitchen with everything one would need to cook elaborate meals in. The entire house is tastefully decorated with loving attention to detail, making you reluctant to leave the property for long periods of time. With the gorgeous pool beckoning and the table tennis/snooker/piano/library all at one's disposal, we could have just stayed put at the farmhouse the entire week! Robion is a friendly little commune, with the nicest people, and has a couple of great bakeries, a small but more than adequate grocery store, a fruit/veg market, a wine cave, hair salons, and restaurants. All of which are a short walk from the farmhouse. We wanted for nothing our entire week, it was a perfect stay at a perfect place, and we would never think of staying anywhere else in the Luberon. This review would not be complete without mentioning Sebastian again. Having worked several years in the travel industry in the past and being lucky enough to travel many times each year, I am truly astonished and wonderfully surprised to meet somebody like him. He is prompt with email communications, from the time of initial enquiry and booking, to answering innumerable questions and proffering advice until arrival. There is NOTHING he would not do to assist you, constantly going above and beyond to make your stay a wonderful one...

Paradise in Provence

Wow! What a property! We were very warmly welcomed by Sebastian and his father who took us on a tour of the house and garden. The wine and olive bread they provided was a lovely surprise. The house is even more impressive in person, combining luxury and elegance with homely, personal touches. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, the bathrooms modern and stylish. The kitchen facilities were excellent, and we had fun cooking on the barbecue. We spent many long lunches and candlelit evenings in the courtyard dining area. Everyone enjoyed playing in the pool, followed by sitting in the shade reading books. We also made full use of the entertainment provided including snooker, table tennis and a piano. The house is completely private, nestled within the village. We visited the local bakery most mornings for croissants, quiche and heavenly strawberry tarts. The fruit and veg shop opposite the bakery is very well stocked and includes a wine cave. We enjoyed a fabulous lunch of pizza and pasta at Il Momento just a short stroll away. My sister and her family arrived 2 days later than planned with only half their luggage due to the British Airways IT system failure. Sebastian immediately offered to help and spoke with the airport to assist in the safe delivery of their lost luggage, which arrived later that evening. He also very kindly brought them a bottle of wine. A big thank you to Sebastian from all of us! We made many happy memories at La Ferme St Roch and would love to return some day. One week just isn't long enough!
