Lovely accommodations!

You cannot beat the size of this flat! I stayed for 18 nights and felt very comfortable with how I was able to settle in. Lots of storage space for clothing and luggage. The kitchen is huge and well outfitted. Everything felt very clean! The location was great being so close to the Battersea Power Station. Getting into the City of London takes a bit longer with the main tube station being a 10 minute walk away but you do have access to bus stops that are much closer. There is lovely market across the street that was convenient for any last minute necessities. The building itself felt very safe, clean, and quiet. Olga was a lovely host and I would happily return for another extended stay!

Good location, but not good communication and could not figure out/use appliance

It is disconcerting to have no response from the owner confirming things until the day before. It would have been useful to have Instructions on how to operate the hub, the stove, washing machine the washing machine, the hot water in the showers. Coming from Canada we were very unfamiliar with all these appliances and managed by downloading instruction manuals for the machines themselves.

The great - fantastic location in terms of being able to get places, tube 10 minutes away, busses right out front. Battersea Power station right there, and it's got everything you could need.The good - store right downstairs had a good variety of food, beer and wine. There are pubs nearby as well to eat and have a few drinks that was laid back and comfortable.The not so good - the mattress needs replacing. Within 2 days I was stiff and my back was bad at the end of our 2 weeks there and it had already been turned. No air but there is a fan which was OK as it cooled at night but we did have a few days hitting 80 so the bedroom got warm. We couldn't figure out the dryer even though we downloaded the manual so had to dry at a laundromat, however the manager did offer to send someone over to help but it was too inconvenient. The door doesn't lock easily and is the handset not the same as in North America so it took us 20 minutes to figure it out as you had to really yank to get the lock to engage . The stove also took a while but we got it. The couch is worn with both sides sagging which was uncomfortable after sitting for a while.Overall it was a good stay but I wouldn't stay again even though the management was incredibly prompt getting back to us.Note to Management - Provide clear instructions on the appliances and the lock, and replace the mattress and the couch. Doing that would make any stay exceptional!

I really enjoyed the use of Olga’s property. The flat was like a home away from home so I could have meals in and do my laundry for the 2 weeks I was there. Bed is a regular mattress but comfortable. Only a few minutes walk to the Thames, bridges and walking paths. No A/C, I stayed the first couple of weeks in Sept and with open windows/patio doors plus a provided fan in the bedroom worked well. There are 2 floor fans in the living room as well. I could search the internet for instructions on how to use the convection oven and combo washer/dryer unit (there is a drying rack if needed too).It was reasonably convenient to see all of what London has to offer. If you like walking Victoria Station is 18 mins away, Natural History and V&N Museum are 41 mins away. The Northern Line Battersea Station is a 13 min walk away and can take you via Charring Cross to Oxford Street/British Museum area and Euston Station or change a Kennington and take the Northern Bank line to the Tower of London/Tower Bridge area. It’s a nice property in the Battersea Power Plant area which has been redeveloped into a new shopping, restaurant, residential area.

Key pickup inconvenient

Check in was a key pickup about 15 minutes away which was inconvenient. Key pickup location looked a little scetchy but the people there were pleasant and helpful

Fantastic Flat

Absolutely lovely little flat in an amazing area of London, Battersea Power Station. We were very comfortable there. Like another reviewer mentioned, the bed is great. But it’s the overall vibe of the flat that made us so comfortable. It’s not perfect. It’s real. If it had been perfect, we would have been uncomfortable. We felt right at home even though our true home is thousands of miles away. And that’s how we like to travel. The great amenities (bathroom and kitchen, WiFi, Nespresso, washer/dryer, etc.) enabled us to easily maintain some autonomy as we explored London. We didn’t have to eat out for every meal. The location is exceptional. I cannot say enough good things about Battersea Power Station. It had everything we needed, including a great little brewery and locals to meet and become friends with. Bus routes 44 and 211, which run right in front of the building, take you close to the most popular tourist attraction areas. Plus, there is an Uber Boat wharf close by so you can alternatively ride a clipper up and down the Thames River if you want to. It’s an GREAT way to reach Westminster. Also, there is an underground tube station inside the Battersea Power Station. The host is very responsive and super nice. My only suggestion is to maybe use another, more reliable, Key nest.

We loved it here!

We had a lovely time staying here. It is close to multiple forms of transit - the Uber Boat is fabulous. The Battersea Power Station area had some great food options. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to London.

Good short term stay

Olga was a very responsive host. There were some minor plumbing issues but she worked diligently to correct the. The apt is well located.There is a bus stop directly across the road as you s Battersea park. The Battersea tube station is a 10- 15 minute walk. The Battersea mall is a ten minute walk. Wide variety of shops and restaurants. Additionally the is a well equipped M&S market in the mall. The apt itself was comfortable and safe.One suggestion would be to provide written directions on using the appliances, tv etc.

Comfortable

This was a comfortable apartment - great bed - some aspects were in need of an update. The balcony door broke two days into the trip and wasn’t repaired until I left. Luckily it wasn’t so cold. More information about how to check in, wifi, and how to operate things would have been useful
