The building is authentic, traditional, almost 100 years old, being recently renovated to offer all the comfort to its guests. Perfect holidays

Granny's house was the perfect holiday time to us. Such a lovly garden and comfortable house. Dan, Liudmilla, Phillip, Granny and Grandaddy treat you as a friend and immediatly you feel cosy and spoiled. Everybody is so helpful and likes to have guests. Dan's cooking is terrific and it is a luxury to have your private restaurant in your own garden with delicious food and no kitchen work afterwards. :-) The cats and the dog are so cute and add to your feeling of belonging here. It is easy to get to the Danube Delta even without your own car. Thank you so much for this perfect time. Tino and Armin

Ruhiges Haus mit familiärem Flair

Wir haben hier 10 Tage als Familie (2 Kinder) verbracht. Hier wird man wirklich in die Familie aufgenommen. Die Kinder waren besonders vom Hund und den Katzen begeistert. Alles in allem ein schöner Urlaub.

Tolle Ferienwohnung bei absolut netter Familie

Wir haben eine wundervolle Woche in Jurilovca verbracht. Granny's House ist liebevoll eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Der Garten ist ein kleines Paradies. Dan und seine Familie haben uns sehr freundlich empfangen, standen uns für alle Fragen zur Verfügung und haben uns immer mit frischem Obst und Gemüse aus dem Garten versorgt. Sehr lecker war auch das Essen, das sie bei Bedarf für uns gekocht haben. Jurilovca ist ein optimaler Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge ins Donaudelta oder ans Schwarze Meer. Alles in allem war es für uns ein perfekter Aufenthalt und wir würden gerne wiederkommen. Monika und Lothar

Although we studied, lived and worked in Bucharest, we could not forget the place of origin of our family. We are in love with the Danube Delta, the Black Sea, boats, birds and unique natural landscapes. So we returned to the village of our childhood and prepared the house for the guests who want to experience the peaceful life of the fisherman from the Danube Delta. We are waiting for you!

Why they chose this property

Granny's House is a traditional home built more than 100 years ago by our ancestors, fishermen of the Danube Delta, who founded this town many centuries ago. We tried to restore it using traditional natural materials and equip it with modern elements that contribute to the comfort of our guests. The household is functional and the grandmother still grows vegetables in the garden, raises chickens, grows flowers, harvests fruits - our guests can enjoy an authentic atmosphere, tranquility and nature.

What makes this property unique

Jurilovca is a unique village in the Danube Delta: you can get here very easily, you can enjoy, in equal measure, the deltaic landscapes and fauna but also the wild seascape on the beach from Gura Portitei. Our guests can walk among the fields of wild reeds, they can walk with the kayak or with the traditional boats on the canals of the Delta, they can bathe in the waters of the Black Sea, they can visit many ancient archeological sites. Or they can rest in the orchard at the location, enjoying traditional, authentic food and drinks, specific to the area.
