The Homestead es patrimonio de la Gran Dama de las Tierras Altas del Sur. Es uno de los mejores ejemplos de arquitectura colonial australiana y artesanía en el distrito.

Elegante finca de estilo grande con vastas envolventes alrededor de verandas, techos altos y bellos acabados vintage. Cornisa con dibujos y obras de arte que cuelgan de los carriles de imagen adornan cada habitación.

Los preciosos pisos de madera pulida de Blue Gum adornan las áreas de estar y crean un ambiente de campo natural.

Highly reccomend .. an amazing venue

We had an amazing time The property is beautiful and you never run out of things to do whether your in the pool, playing tennis, basketball or relaxing in the spa next to the open fire There are ducks and geese that walk around like a family which makes it all that more special The bbq area is perfect The house is huge and has plenty to offer which so many bathrooms you dont know which one to choose The house itself is pristine from top to bottom with all the amenities you can ask for We will be definately be back Also mandy is the best host you could ask for

Wow, just every detail is spectacular

We were children at Christmas. At every moment the house would throw some new amazing detail at us and we’d get excited and. Report back. The whole family was incredibly comfortable which isn’t easy as we’ve a range of people who don’t like any fuss to the particular. But hanging out of the veranda was easy and comfortable. It is an extremely well designed “everything”. The kitchen is top notch and has more than you need. 5 people spoke of how amazing their shower was. Even the tP brands gave us a chuckle. With obsessions about chicken breeds etc in our family this just made another Christmas moment for us all. But the main thing was - we have young kids. They always add to the “fun” in finding suitable places. The ducks, and tennis and phenomenal number of outdoor and indoor toys for all ages had them more applied than ever. But there were smaller details I loved. Plastic wares. The pool was great for our non swimmers with an awesome and pool length step. The jacuzzi helped warm up between. The bbq- we is included in the group conversation without kids being next to the hot plates. The rooms were separated enough so any night crying disturbed us alone. Look. I can go on and on and I am internally longing to go back. I want to replicate the presses tin gloss walls in the bathrooms and many features that just were wow. Thanks Mandy for being an incredible host. We loved it and hope to return again next year on our trip.

Wonderful Weekend at Kalinya Gardens

After seven years of annual family getaways, Kalinya Gardens is right up there at the top of the list. One of the things we look for is for all of us to be accommodated under one roof rather than needing to spread out across multiple cottages. The Homestead which holds a maximum of 18 was perfect for our group. The property caters for people of all ages. The Homestead is beautifully appointed: decor and furnishings are elegant and tasteful; the beds are super comfortable, and so are the pillows. There are several lovely bathrooms, and some comfy sitting areas, and more TV's than I could count. I don't actually think we turned one on until late on the final evening. We were too busy enjoying each other's company. Mandy, the owner has thought of everything. The grounds, the facilities, gardens, decks, outdoor tables and entertaining areas were just perfect. This year, my husband was celebrating his 80th Birthday. Mandy put us in touch with caterers and providores - all of whom were exceptional. On the day of the celebration, Mandy was there help us with extra tables and chairs so we could set up in the winter sun on the sheltered verandah which runs all the way around the house. What more can I say - "just gorgeous, in every possible way."

Amazing!

Our stay here was amazing, from the minute this house was booked Mandy communicated so well regarding everything we needed for our stay. She is very understanding and will cater to all your needs. House was absolutely beautiful with activities for everyone, it was clean and so well maintained! In a perfect location for a quiet get away! Would highly recommend! 10/10

Welcome to Kalinya Estate. My husband Chris and I bought the Estate as a country escape for our family nearly 20 years ago and discovered a passion for hosting and building relationships. My background as a Clinical Psychologist provided a blueprint to fostering such relationships and encouraging others in a similar way. Consequently, to promote meaningful connections, we offer an un-rushed experience through a 2-night minimum stay. Chris and I love sport and music, so the estate grew over the years to be the ultimate family playground. Our hope is that Kalinya will bring your family and friends closer, that they will have the time of their lives using all of the facilities and spending quality time together. Chris and I moved to Bargo to get away from the city, to enjoy the best of rural living with our family. I am a Clinical Psychologist by background, and love spoiling and looking after people. We set up Kalinya to cater for large extended family or friendship groups. We love that there is plenty to do at Kalinya for anyone who stays; from the old to the very young, from the active sportsman, to one who enjoys a good book.

Kalinya Estate is located in the village of Bargo in the Wollondilly Shire- The gateway to the Southern Highlands. The Wollondilly neighbourhood is a beautiful scenic rural area. Kalinya Estate is ideally located just 2.1kms from the M31 Hume Motorway. Kalinya Estate is an Australian Colonial, heritage-listed, luxury Estate; offering exclusive high-end accommodation at a private acreage for groups. With sporting, musical and recreation facilities catering to guests of all ages, it offers opportunities for work, relaxation, entertainment and more. The Estate’s accommodation features three separate buildings, The Homestead, The Lodge and The Barn, all of which are a short stroll from each other through the gardens. All three spaces have been magnificently restored, with all of the quality modern updated fixtures you need. Kalinya Estate is a private venue, taking only one group at a time. ‘The Homestead’ is one of few original Australian Colonial Mansions- 1860's Victorian Georgian. This house is where all of the guests staying on the estate gather to share meals, due to the large entertaining spaces. 'The Lodge' was the original medical centre for the whole region- originally name Emohruo. 'The Barn' was originally used to build submarines and after that was used to care for champion dressage horses. Kalinya Estate is located in the rural town of Bargo within the Wollondilly and welcomes its guests on the land of the Dharawal people.
