Idyllic Hill Retreat
We had a spectacularly great time at this property. The property is ideally located – away from the fracas enough for quiet; high enough in the hills for stunning views; yet still a short walk to town. The living area is outfitted with comfortable furniture and a huge flat screen TV. The kitchen and (very large) pantry are equipped with every conceivable item one could want, including four (!) choices of coffee-makers. The ultra-high speed internet connection proves very handy. The beds are made with quality linens. The entire property was spotlessly clean on arrival, and we took advantage of further cleanings (on a month-long stay, as mandated by the city for rental platforms like VRBO). Most of, John, who primarily handles dealings with guests, and his wife, Mojgan, could not possibly be more accommodating, pleasant, fair minded, and responsive. The place is a gem.

Sausalito Salty Dog
I spent a month on the houseboat called “Salty Dog”. I had my 20 lb puppy, Tilly with me and a friend who is a professional pet sitter came and joined us a few times. Two things really impressed me. 1., the boat was superbly equipped as if ready for a long range voyage and 2. The neighbors were all Salties - creative, fun, and helpful. Proximity to everything from a grocery store , laundry and to a pub and a bunch of great local restaurants all within walking distance was great. Parking was easy and, despite the 3 hours max sign, parked there every night for a month and never got a ticket. The vibe was brilliant and the humor and funny decorations were very sweet. Kimberly and her husband were super responsive when we had a question. All in all a 5 star experience with a three star price!

Lovely spot
My husband and I enjoyed several days in this lovely carriage house. We had a late night check in, and were pleased to have a dedicated parking spot and easy, private access to the cottage. The jasmine covering the porch was a special sight. Linen couches and overstuffed pillows were delightful and contributed to our goal of relaxation. The bed was very comfortable and we could see the water from the bedroom window. David checked on us frequently and gave recommendations for meals. We had wonderful meals at The Barrel Room, Sushi Ran, enjoyed coffee and lunch at Equator Cafe, and grabbed groceries as needed from the market down the street. (The croissant with almond cream was insane). After charging our electric car rental at the Mill Valley Safeway, we had a quick drive to places like The Marine Mammal Rescue Center, Sonoma, the City, Point Reyes, and more. Sausalito is a gem, and we loved being so close to stunning views, delicious meals, and a beautiful nest for when we were ready to rest. Thank you Yasmeen and David!

Frequently asked questions
Can I find a vacation rental in Downtown?
Yes, we offer vacation rentals close to well known local attractions in Downtown, or you can select a more remote option if you're looking for relaxation.
What's there to see and do in Downtown?
