About the property

Beautiful 8000 Sq.ft Private Estate In Wine Country

Stay at one of Temecula's best known luxury wine country estates. ZinEstate is set on six (6) glorious acres and is replete with breathtaking views, a gorgeous rose garden, 2.5 acres of manicured Zinfandel vineyards and all of the amenities one would expect from a true luxury gated estate.

ZinEstate is the perfect venue for a family vacation, corporate retreat or romantic getaway. The luxurious 8,000 square foot house and beautiful grounds have numerous areas for intimacy and gatherings. Whether as a Holiday vacation for a family or as a center for a romantic getaway, ZinEstate is a terrific venue.

Memories of a lifetime await. From the moment your friends and family arrive at the entry gates the signs of privacy, security, elegance and luxury abound. And the property doesn't disappoint. Having been well maintained by the owners, this property exudes quality, relaxation and beauty.

We invite you to look closely at the two videos and photos to appreciate the maple hardwood floors, complemented by marble, carpet and fine hand made rugs. No other Temecula guest villa provides such elegance and beauty.

ZinEstate features a gourmet stainless steel kitchen with all new appliances including dual ovens plus a microwave and two (2) dishwashers. The kitchen is wonderful for foodies and people who want to cook and entertain during their stay.

Stroll through the gardens, perhaps cut some long-stem roses (seasonal), taste wine in the wine cellar or prepare a gourmet meal in the kitchen (for an added treat arrange a personal chef for a gourmet cooking class or wine paring dinner!). Perhaps plan a meal using herbs and vegetables from the herb garden (seasonal- not always available).

The home offers several dining areas inside and out, from formal to the most intimate. The formal dining room seats up to 14 people while overlooking the rose garden with 135 rose bushes! You can also dine in the wine cellar, sun room or on one of the many dining areas on the back patios or around the pool. The choice is yours!

We are proud to have updated the estate with many 'green' features, including 32 photo-voltaic solar electric panels, solar pool and jacuzzi heating panels, water saving features and low water gardens (still improving this). The pool and jacuzzi are salt water rather than chlorinated for your comfort and health.

Each of the five bedrooms and seven bathrooms (including half baths) are spacious and luxurious.

We use almost exclusively natural cleaning products. Housekeeping is available in different frequencies depending upon the length of your stay. We look forward to helping you create memories of a lifetime here at ZinEstate.

Let us know how we can assist making your stay perfect. This is a special time for you, we want to make it as stress-free as we can. ZinEstate is owned and run by Callaway Vineyard & Winery. We look forward to making your stay with us special and memorable for all.

About Regina Smith

Callaway Vineyard & Winery, and Temecula Wine Country, is located just 22 miles inland from the Pacific Ocean, on the eastern side of the South Coast Mountain range, with vineyards at approximately 1400-1600 feet in elevation. A break in the mountains to our west, known as the Rainbow Gap, allows the cool fog to flow inland from the pacific before slowly receding in the late morning. This cool coastal air combined with the warm air that we get from the east creates a micro-climate which is ideal for producing wine grapes.

Callaway Vineyard & Winery currently grows seven different varietals. The winery property now has 20 acres of Estate vineyards planted with Viognier, Syrah, Dolcetto, Zinfandel, Sangiovese, Grenache, Roussanne, Petite Sirah and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. The Lin family owns an additional 200 acres of property at the corner of De Portola Road and Monte de Oro, of which approximately 50 acres are currently planted with Chardonnay, Cinsault, Mourvedre, Muscat Canelli and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes.

5 sisters weekend

  • 3 of 5

This is truly an absolutely beautiful home. We read the reviews, looked at several homes in this area and came up with this house. To be truly fair on why we gave it a 3 we had to go with a completely honest review for the next person who may want to rent. Pros: The house pictures look just like the house. It is big, warm, inviting. The kitchen is huge, there was more than enough room. Huge fridge, two dishwashers! The grounds are absolutely perfectly manicured, and the vineyards make you feel you are in Italy. There is more than enough room for large groups. We each had our own room which was nice. We particularly picked this home because our excitement came in the fact that we could swim, use the Jacuzzi each night next to the bbq area. We also picked this area, because it was a gated home for security, so we could leave the back doors open freely without having to worry. Most of our plans were around backyard area. Cons: We had planned menus to have bbq around Jacuzzi at night, Upon arriving, attempting to lock the gates. they would not close. We also attempted to turn on Jacuzzi, it did not work. We emailed the manager to learn how to close the gate and turn the Jacuzzi on, she only then at that time informed us, that a previous guest had broken the gate so we could not close it for security. We were also informed that the Jacuzzi pump was broken and Jacuzzi would not be available (as another guest review also went through). The manager informed me that she had sent me an email about the gate (after asking her to forward that email I did not receive, I still have not ) sorry for the inconvenience was what we were told after emailing (The communication was so poor I ended up calling 2nd day. Even the SMART TVs could be used as there are no instructions. All of he beautiful outdoor heaters? Not one of them worked, most did not even have propane tanks attached and were filled with cobwebs. it gets cold in Temecula at night! It was too chilly to hang out in the evening without the Jacuzzi or heaters. Manager did have Roman come and bring propane he was a gentleman. (Unfortunately the next night we smelled propane and decided safer not to use). You would think if you were going to pay over a grand a night here, you would get exactly what you were paying for, not half. (manager gave us a very inconsiderably small reimbursement). Nonetheless, the home itself is beautiful, but managing needs to be improved without a doubt.

Amazing Pool! Large Home! Great Location

  • 4 of 5

Regina the property manager was great to work with. She was quick with getting back to me and extremely helpful. The home was beautiful and the pool was amazing. We enjoyed our time In Temecula. The house does need some updates but overall it was worth the money. I would recommend staying here and working with Regina.

Great property!!!!

  • 4 of 5

We truly enjoyed our stay. The house was very accommodating for our wedding weekend needs. We would recommend others to stay. Regina was very pleasant to work with also. The only thing to watch for was there were numerous black widows and webs in the backyard. May need to spray for summer. Thanks again!

Very large house for large parties but...

  • 2 of 5

The house is big with lots and lots of room to spread out. However, for such a large house for large parties, the kitchen is VERY SKIMPY on dishes, utensils, and cooking supplies. Good luck cooking for your large crowd. I also wanted to host a send off breakfast on Sunday for about 30 guests (then check out on Monday) but we were told "NO". I have since discovered that this house has hosted weddings and gatherings larger even than the one I was told I could not host even though I offered a larger security deposit because I knew my breakfast would be very subdued. I was offended when I heard this.

Huge estate, perfect for executive retreat

  • 5 of 5

The house was great, very big with plenty of space. Unfortunately we couldn't get the hot tub to work and the decor was a little dated but other than that it was perfect. We enjoyed our stay and would rent again.

5 stars in 5 days

  • 5 of 5

The Zin Estate provided a magical backdrop for a 60th birthday celebration. Five days and nights of relaxing by the pool, great food, and sunshine were enjoyed by winter weary Wisconsinites. As each of our guests arrived and toured the property we uncovered new details of the estate. The pictures give a taste of what to expect, but they cannot capture the size and amenities included. Regina was a pleasure to work with. She was quick to respond to all inquiries. I wouldn't mind trying to top the experience at this VRBO, but I'm not sure that's possible.
