Great stay. Property manager was great. Only downfall was the fireplaces inside and on back porch are not wood burning like the photos show. We booked specifically for that and the location. Overall, wonderful house and location. Would definitely go back in the summer

Beautiful, spacious, clean house. Great covered dock. Beautiful river view from the dock or back porch. Has everything we needed. Plenty of parking including for a boat trailer. This was a Fishing/boating trip. We will be back for sure

Beautiful Property

My family and I had a wonderful time at this location. Everything was well thought out and planned out. The property itself is very peaceful, beautiful, and majestic. We had a great time just relaxing and taking walks through the property in the surrounding area. Very pretty location perfect if you enjoy boating, fishing or being among nature. We hope to return.

Peaceful location

It is very peaceful and quiet . There were a lot of deer wandering around the yard and we even saw an owl . Fishing is great off the dock . The restaurants nearby are good . The house is large and has a very open concept so you can cook and visit with family easily. The extremely large outdoor living area has a tv and plenty of seating . We will definitely stay here again !

Beautiful Setting

Stayed 2 weeks! The guys mostly fished and the gals shopped. Enjoyed the azaleas at Ravine State Park and some of the sites in St. Augustine. Jacksonville shopping was also amazing! Guys had lots of luck fishing and we will be having a wonderful fish fry. Pineapple House was a perfect location. A great welcome home gift was there on arrival. A lovely home, large covered dock, and exquisite river views. The 5 of us had a wonderful stay !!Thank you!

Beautiful home with so many amenities.

Fishing from the dock was so much fun, but beyond that , the wildlife that almost daily walked through the yard was so nice to see. We had deer, wild turkeys, and one we saw a weasel ! Had a lot of rain but we still want to go back again.

A perfect guys weekend in paradise

From the moment we pulled onto the property we were all blown away! There is nothing like waking up in the morning having breakfast and coffee on the dock planning out an awesome day. For our stay there we brought our boat and it was an easy launch/short ride from the local boat ramp to the dock, we enjoyed multiple restaurants close by that had boat parking that were a great time as well. Once the day was done on the water we’d get charcoal going on the grill and have a nice cookout right next to the awesome views of the water. Everything made us feel right at home from easy communication with the host down to the feeling of a clean welcoming home! Don’t hesitate to book this home for a family/friend getaway I promise you won’t regret it! Some local wildlife might surprise you too!

Annual Girls Trip

Us girls try to do two trips a year and there’s 8 of us. To find a property that please 8 women is simply amazing. Words can’t even give you an idea of how fantastic the property and house are. Not only is the inside amazing but has an amazing dock and outdoors area. The inside and outside of the house were very clean we didn’t even have to wipe anything down before placing our groceries on the counters. The town of Welaka is so great everyone is so friendly and welcome us with opened arms. We’ve already decided we’re going back next year. Thanks, Kim, for being awesome!

Great House & Dock

It's just like the pictures. Coolest house on the St. Johns. We loved it. The house had everything and super nice and clean. The outdoors and dock were perfect for boating/fishing.

Amazing!

This is not a vacation rental, it is a vacation home! Everything about it allows you to feel completely at home while you are there. Kim was in contact with us early on and answered all of our silly questions and kept in contact with us as we needed. The house is as beautiful as it is in the pictures and there is no lack of beauty surrounding it. We also stayed at a beach house later in our trip but it paled in comparison to the Pineapple House. We will be back often.

The home and amenities were EXCELLENT! We have the same dinning room table and lighting over the table. We felt so at home. The fishing was good for the guys and the kitchen was good for ladies. The screen in porch and the dock was great for fellowshipping with each other. I can't say enough but THANKS!!

Excellent Place To Stay!!!

There are not enough words to say about the Pineapple House. First off, the space in this house is so great. Enough room for our large family to move about and to sit. But as a woman, the best thing to me is the fully, fully stocked kitchen and the double oven. The eating space in this house accommodates 20. So it sat our large family. We loved seeing the turkeys and seeing all the deer coming up on the property. But as for my husband, he loved the covered dock and boat shelter. He loved having a dry boat every morning with no dew on it. We enjoyed sitting on the picnic table at the dock and fishing. There is not one complaint we have about this house and working with Kim is the best. We would recommend this house to everyone.

A Little Piece of Paradise

We absolutely loved our stay at the lake house. It was spacious, clean, and well-equipped. We spent most of our time on the beautiful, large screened-in patio overlooking the lake and appreciated having the covered dock for our boat. Our trip was nothing short of magical and we are already looking forward to enjoying this property again sometime!

St . Johns River trip

We thoroughly enjoyed our family trip to Welaka. The home was comfortable and very clean. It is close to some great restaurants by land and water. We say several deer and turkey! The property manager Kim was super helpful and easy to contact. We will definitely be back.

Fabulous view and lots of wild life

This property was perfect! The turkeys and deer hung out in the front yard and the otter swam by the dock. My family truly enjoyed there time fishing and sitting on the back porch in the rocking chairs

Great getaway!

The house was perfect for a short getaway for 5 of us. Plenty of space, great fishing off the dock, beautiful sunsets. Deer and turkey in the front yard every morning and evening. If I had one "complaint" it would be a lack of pots, pans, dinnerware, utensils, etc. It's not enough to keep me away or give it a horrible review. The house and property are amazing.
