About Jan Skov

We are a family which bought four holiday homes in Komarna, Croatia in 2003 through the Croatian company TEDO d.o.o. Winnie and Jan Skov are seniors and live in Herlev, Copenhagen, Denmark. We and our grown-up children visit Komarna as often as we can, and you may actually spot some of us on the pictures on this website - well - not Jan; he is always at the wrong end of the lens - so here you have a picture of both Winnie and Jan.

Tourism can be a great advantage to local communities. It provides income and gives a positive exchange of cultural values. Our approach is a total dedication to responsible tourism. All the income we make from renting goes back into the local economy in the form of taxes, salaries and local purchase of goods. When you rent an apartment from us, you are protected by our business principles and you are protected by the law in Croatia, which is very strict with companies operating in tourism.

We keep the houses, the furniture and the kitchen to a high standard and equipped with quality utensils. We are sure you will find absolutely everything you may need. Our housekeeper, Vanja Babic takes care of our guest and keeps the houses clean and in perfect condition. She is really appreciated by us and through the feed-back from our guests, we know that she is an asset that we must take good care of. Our apartments are inspected several times each year and the Tourist Authorities make sure that we follow all the rules set out by the government for companies working with apartment rentals.
