Ubicada cerca del mar y a pocos kilómetros de lugares históricos y turísticos como Castel del Monte (10 minutos), Trani (10 minutos), Polignano a Mare, Alberobello, Matera (45 minutos), Villa Gioia es un destino único y encantador. donde pasar sus vacaciones Esta magnífica villa noble es una residencia de vacaciones histórica construida en 1799 por la familia Gioia. En un contexto elegante y prestigioso, puede vivir una experiencia exclusiva en plena relajación inmerso en el verde de la campiña de Apulia.

Villa Gioia se distribuye en dos plantas. En la planta baja hay una imponente sala de entrada, una gran sala de recepción con bóvedas de crucería, chimenea y TV de pantalla plana con canales vía satélite, un estudio, un comedor, una cocina muy grande con patio interior y terraza equipada para comiendo al aire libre. El área para dormir en un ala separada se compone de 4 dormitorios y 2 baños. También hay una habitación de servicio adicional con 2 literas y un baño interno.
Arriba hay una sala de estar con techos con frescos, 2 habitaciones dobles con baño en suite y otras 2 habitaciones servidas por un baño separado. Todas las habitaciones y baños tienen acceso directo a una gran terraza.
WiFi gratuito y amplias plazas de aparcamiento para los huéspedes están disponibles en la villa.
Un gran parque con árboles seculares y un terreno de 40,000 metros cuadrados con huerto y olivos completan la propiedad.

Absolutely Incredible

The title says it all. We are still in absolute awe of how wonderful our stay at Villa Gioia was. Our wedding was nothing short of magic thanks to Maria Luisa. The villa is truly stunning - you are able to take in the beauty of Puglia in a gorgeous and authentic location. The villa itself is a work of art, with beautiful stone walls, high ceilings, and charming details throughout. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, and the bathrooms were immaculate. We particularly enjoyed the outdoor areas, including the pool and the terraces. It was the perfect place to relax and soak up the sun. The wedding itself was dreamy, and the villa was the perfect backdrop for our special day. The talented people (chefs, hair stylist, makeup artist, photographer) Maria Luisa gathered for the event were incredibly helpful and accommodating, and they went above and beyond to make sure that everything went smoothly. The food was delicious, and the wine was exceptional. Overall, I cannot recommend this villa enough. It is the perfect place for a family getaway or a wedding, and it truly exceeded our expectations. If you're looking for a beautiful Italian villa in Puglia, this is the place to stay.

An Unforgettable Experience at Villa Gioia with Host Louisa

From the moment we arrived, we knew we were in for a treat. Louisa, our gracious host, made our stay exceptional from start to finish. The house itself is a historical treasure, its 230-year legacy evident in its intricate floor tiles, exposed walls, and character-filled furnishings. Each room is a nod to the family's rich history in winemaking and adds an unparalleled layer of authenticity to the experience. As a group of 18 gathering for a birthday celebration, we found Villa Gioia to be incredibly comfortable and accommodating. Despite having plans to explore the surrounding areas, the allure of the property was so strong that we spent most of our time on-site, enjoying the stunning pool area and playing petanque under newly-installed lights for nighttime play. Louisa went above and beyond to enhance our stay. She personally guided us to an amazing cheese shop for tastings and a local meat shop to buy regional produce. She was always available to answer questions and even secured us a table for 16 at a fantastic local restaurant on our last day. Her recommendations for nearby beaches were spot-on and contributed to an unforgettable experience. Each bedroom has air conditioning which ensured our utmost comfort. In summary, Villa Gioia is more than just a place to stay; it’s an experience that encapsulates the beauty, history, and hospitality that one dreams of when visiting Italy. My guests and I were thoroughly impressed and left with memories we will cherish forever.

Rosanna und ihr Mann waren sehr sehr nett. Sie strengen sich enorm an. Aber das WLAN lieg erst nach Tagen und die Fahrräder musste Rosanna extra kommen lassen. Das Nachtessen , das Rosanna organisiert hat , war perfekt. Es hatte nur 9 Zimmer und nicht 10 wie in der Home Page versprochen.

The wifi issue was resolved as soon as possible and we have bought a mobile wifi modem so that in future our guests will have wifi available even in the rare cases the land line has some issues. The bicycles are an extra (paid) service we offer to our guests, but we gladly made them available to you for free. The villa has indeed 10 bedrooms and you have used them all. One bedroom is less comfortable as it has bunk beds, but that is clearly indicated in the website description Vielen Dank für Ihre Bewertung und wir freuen uns, dass Sie das Abendessen und den allgemeinen Service schätzen. Das WLAN-Problem wurde so schnell wie möglich behoben und wir haben ein mobiles WLAN-Modem gekauft, damit unsere Gäste in Zukunft auch in den seltenen Fällen, in denen es Probleme mit dem Festnetz gibt, über WLAN verfügen können. Die Fahrräder sind ein extra (kostenpflichtiger) Service, den wir unseren Gästen anbieten, aber wir stellen sie Ihnen gerne kostenlos zur Verfügung. Die Villa hat in der Tat 10 Schlafzimmer und Sie haben sie alle benutzt. Ein Schlafzimmer ist weniger komfortabel, da es Etagenbetten hat, aber das ist in der Beschreibung der Website deutlich angegeben

Schlimme Lage der uralten Villa

Leider entsprechen die Bilder nicht den wirklichen Zustand. Diese alte Villa ist zu dem Preis nicht mehr vermietbar. Bei Regen und Wind tritt Wasser ein. Sämtliche Türen und Fenster sind kaum vernünftig zu schließen und öffnen. Teilweise befinden sich keine Kleiderschränke und Spiegel in den Schlafräumen. Die Betten sind schmal und klapprig. In den Badezimmern befinden sich teilweise undichte Wannen und keine Duschvorhänge. Gestank nach Beize in den Geschirrschränken. Das Grundstück ungepflegt. Am Schlimmsten ist die Lage des Hauses. Direkt an einer Schnellstraße und in einer verdeckten Landschaft gelegen. Die Verwalterin ist sehr nett aber die Villa ist für den Preis eine Zumutung. Eine Beschwerde direkt an den Besitzer wurde bis jetzt ignoriert.

I am sorry that you didn’t enjoy the experience at Villa Gioia unlike all the other guests we had the pleasure to host in the last 3 years and that you didn't raise your concerns during your stay. Some of them (like more mirrors and wardrobes) could have been easily solved. As you know there was an exceptional storm one evening that caused some water to leak in. We immediately sent some people to fix the issue and clean. All windows and doors are original and are charming (like the whole villa) because of their intact historical style. They have been restored just a couple of years ago, so they work properly. We have restored one week before your arrival all furniture (also original and historical). There was a bit of residual pleasant smell of furniture wax that has quickly disappeared. Beds and mattresses are all new and are appreciated for their comfort from other guests. The location is very quiet being surrounded by 40.000 square meters of land and private park. The proximity to the provincial road is a plus because allows to easily reach all key Apulian sites. Regarding the price comment, you were in 7 people and have booked a villa for 20 people - of course the price per person is less favorable... Was still very reasonable considering it was peak season

Beautiful, old Masseria

A very beautiful house still very much decorated like it must have been in the 30s of the last century. When you walk into the office next to the entry you almost expect to see the former owner sitting at his desk. Space is ample. We visited as a group of 10 and it never felt in the least crowded. 2 large terraces on the upper floor offer a beautiful view of the surrounding countryside and Castel del Monte can be seen in the distance. There is a grove of old trees opposite the house, full of birds. This is a great place to relax and slow down. The house has all the amenities required for a comfortable stay. The lovely stone floors and high rooms will keep it cool in summer. Shopping and good restaurants are 10 - 20 mins away by car, while all major sightseeing can be reached within 1 1/2 hours at most.

Bellissima villa ideale per grandi gruppi

Villa d’epoca bellissima, ideale per grandi gruppi, in un ottima posizione per visitare i paesini più belli della Puglia. Molto spaziosa, ben arredata e vivibile per un gruppo di 15 adulti e 5 bambini. Il salone ha un bel camino che abbiamo acceso tutte le sere e ha reso l’ambiente molto suggestivo e accogliente. L’amministratice della casa Rosanna e’ stata molto disponibile da quando abbiamo prenotato. Ci ha aiutato a trovare un ristorante per capodanno e ci ha dato molti consigli utili per rendere il nostro soggiorno il più gradevole possibile. Rosanna e’ rimasta a disposizione durate il nostro soggiorno per qualsiasi cosa. Avevamo prenotato una degustazione di vini in una cantina che ci ha annullato per via della neve. Rosanna ci ha trovato un altra cantina nel corso di un paio di ore. Abbiamo avuto un po’ di problemi con il Wi-Fi e il riscaldamento ma sono stati risolti al più presto.

Très agréable séjour dans cette jolie villa hors du temps parfaitement adaptée à une grande famille

Tout commence par un accueil attentif et chaleureux par Rosanna qui s'assure que nous disposerons de tout ce dont nous aurons besoin. Cette propriété a gardé son âme du début du XX° siècle et on se sent rapidement chez soi. Le mobilier d'époque nous réjouit l'oeil et le volume des pièces nous enchante. Ensuite le charme des Pouilles et la proximité des plages comme des jolis ports (Trani) font le reste. Mention spéciale à Rosanna qui a su nous organiser un brunch de 50 personnes dans le parc ainsi qu'au propriétaire de la villa qui a eu la gentillesse de répondre à nos demandes particulières (3 lits de bébés, barbecue, ...). Nous recommandons cette villa.

Best holidays ever

17 Of my close friends and I went to this house for a week and had the best holidays since a long time. Its not always easy with 18 people in one house but we always had a smooth and tender athmosphere. Its really worth to spend your holidays there! Sadly we just stayed for a week cloud have easily stayed a month there

What a fabolous place.

When we at last found the villa we had a fantastic stay. The old magnificient villa was for us modern stressed people a restplace for our souls and besides the large bedrooms, the kitchen became the central point for our group. How wonderful to see all the genuine details in all the rooms and if the radio in the ”office” is for sale, i,ll buy it. Nothing were ”styled”, just a pure and historic place that made our group happy. And a special thanks to the serviceminded staff. We will shurely come back to visit again. Hans Schemmel

Merveilleux séjour

Venant de Paris, nous avons effectué un merveilleux séjour dans cette région au décor magnifique. La Villa Gioia grande et spacieuse nous a plu, correspondant exactement aux photos présentées sur le site et au descriptif. Le propriétaire très gentil, fut très compréhensif et arrangeant. Nous tenons à le remercier car c'est grâce à lui que nous avons pu découvrir cette région de l'Italie. Rosanna également très gentille fut très proche de nous durant tout le séjour veillant à ce que nous ne manquions de rien. Un grand merci à elle pour son amabilité. Nous recommandons cette location à toute personne intéressée. Quant à nous, c'est avec plaisir que nous n'hésiterons pas à revenir. Encore Merci
