The Island Oasis is ready to host your Lowcountry getaway! Beautifully maintained and furnished in island-style luxury, the home offers a stunning master bedroom with private balcony, a California King bed and spa style bathroom with Jacuzzi tub, large shower and separate commode. Three bedrooms have king beds. A ‘Jack n Jill’ bath is located between one of the king rooms and a room with two queens. The top floor room has two queens, a full bath, a small kitchenette and access to the rooftop patios, which boast great views and plenty of sunbathing. Each bedroom has cable and DVD.

The gourmet kitchen and bar area are fully equipped and, open to a large living/great room with wireless internet, cable TV and plenty of dining and seating space for a large group. Original artwork adorns the walls throughout the home which features reclaimed hardwood floors, bead board finished walls and living room ceiling.

Enjoy the private pool as a cool respite with partial shade in the afternoon and an outdoor shower. The propane grill is outdoors near the pool area, ready to go. The Island Oasis is located in the heart of downtown Isle of Palms just steps away from the beach. Sleeps 14-16.

Convenience features: separate upstairs and downstairs HVAC systems, wireless internet, cable TV in living room and each bedroom, full laundry room, linens, bath towels and soaps provided, small kitchen appliances, cooking utensils, serving and bar ware, and, a queen sofa sleeper in the living room. About The Owner

My name is Robert Basha, and I manage the "Oasis" for my parents. I grew up on the Isle of Palms, and my folks still live out there. A career in the film industry keeps my Father and I busy, but we maintain the "Oasis" with pride.

The Owner purchased this house in 2006

Notes:
We have a great pool area that always offers a little shade somewhere. Being near the edge of the Islands "front beach" or commercial district means that amenities and dining are all very close.

Perfect Home for Large Family/families

The house is located in the heart of Isle of Palms. Quick walk to the beach and restaurants. We enjoyed breaking away from the beach to the private pool. The house was perfect for our large family!

Wonderful Vacation Home

Our party of 8 friends had a marvelous time at the Oasis.Lots of room for everyone. Great kitchen for cooking (they even got a Keurig when we asked if there was one there). The weather was too cold to use the pool but it's very cute. The location is very convenient to the beach & shops but private also.The owners were very quick to respond to a TV problem. Would definitely stay there again.

Everything you could want.

This place has it all. The pool, the view, the location. We do retreats here every year and everyone raves about it. So of course the pool is beautiful and private, but you're also just down the street from two beach accesses, including the world famous Windjammer beach bar! At the same time though, it's just far enough off the main drag that the late night revelry won't keep you awake. The view from the rooftop deck is amazing too, and there are two separate sections for two separate views. Finally, the layout of the rooms inside provides sufficient privacy even for large groups, but a main living room that hold everyone for meals. I can't recommend this house enough.

McKowns Mountain ladies Retreat

Absolutely on of the best Ladies Retreat ever! The house was very accommodating to our group of 14 ladies. Kitchen was equipped with everything needed, comfortable mattress and very clean for such a large home. Short walk to the beach. We did not get to take advantage of the pool as it was chilly the days we were there. Home owners very easy to work with.

Very nice accomodations. Beds extremely comfortable. New excellent grill. Great location walking distance to restaurants. Well stocked kitchen. Wet bar area was well stocked w/ glassware and icemaker. Nice looking pool but to cold to use obviously. Would recommend highly

Great Family Vacation

Our family recently returned from a week’s stay at the Oasis. We all had a wonderful time. The accommodations were spacious, with two dining tables and three couches. Beds were very comfortable and, even with so many people, the house was not loud so the children could easily go to sleep. That was a big plus for all. Photos are very accurate as to the setup of the house but the description states the jack-and-jill bathroom connects a King bedroom to a 2-Queen bedroom. That is not the case. Those two bedrooms have a total of 3 Queen beds. There are indeed three King beds, two on the second floor and one on the third floor. We did not cook much so cannot comment on kitchen cooking options but we did notice there are plenty of dishes and flatware. Because island restaurants would not take dinner reservations and would have a long wait, we ate most of our meals off the island. In Mt. Pleasant, we particularly enjoyed Graze. One evening we hired a personal chef (from Emily Lane PCS) and had an excellent meal at the house. The beach was a short walk away but, since sharks were in all of our minds, we used the nicely shaded pool quite a bit. It was perfect for those 90-degree days. One of the fourth floor terraces offered us the opportunity of watching the stars as well as listening to music from the venues nearby. The owners were very accessible to answer a few questions we had during our stay. We would highly recommend signing up to use the elevator, which came very handy for luggage and groceries. All of us had a relaxing family gathering and would love to return in the future.
