Set inside Rethymno City , Deco Apartment is a fully renovated brand new apartment. It is 100m away from Rethymno's historic, shopping and nightlife districts and just a few meters away from the beach. The 40m² studio apartment can accommodate up to four people. From the balcony one can enjoy the seaview. Enjoy tranquillity, comfort and luxuriousness in this fully staffed studio that was fully renovated in 2017.


THE SPACE
Apartment Deco offers a superb location, on a beautiful neighbourhood complex, just a few minutes away from Rethymno old and new town. The apartment is situated close to all the facilities and services you expect from your holiday home; Ideal for friends and couple, as well as a small family holiday. It has been designed by the young and very promising architecture studio ‘5pointsdesign’ into a minimal, exquisite and state-of-the-art residence.
LAYOUT
Entering the house you will find the lobby that leads you to the open plan area of the apartment. It consists the living, dining area, the kitchen, the bedroom and the bathroom. The open space has a direct access to the seaview balcony with outdoor table and chairs for relaxing outdoors. The kitchen is fully equipped. The living room with a double sofa-bed is provided with 42” HDTV and a very old Grundig radio and pickup machine.

The house offers once a week maid for cleaning/linen change. Except cleaning, with an additional fee our staff will be able to do the shopping for you, prepare breakfast & branch and serve you during the day time. Dinner can be also prepared. The space is tastefully decorated and the modern furnishings were carefully chosen, to provide an aesthetically pleasing experience and maximum comfort.

ABOUT THE AREA AND SURROUNDINGS
The area around – The house is in the seafront in Rethymno City, a picturesque Renaissance city with long history. The guest can find tavernas, bakeries, markets, bars, gas station, bank office in a walking distance. The Venetian Fortezza castle at the top of a hill dominates the town, is 800 m away and you can have a glimpse of it from the balcony of the apartment. Inside the castle one can find an outdoor theatre that hosts almost all the performances during the Renaissance summer Festival. Strolling around the old town, through the narrow paved small streets the visitor will come upon beautiful passageways near the fortress of Fortezza, picturesque house yards, historical churches. the old Venetian port, the Contemporary Art Museum of Crete, the archaeological museum ,the historical and folklore Museum of Rethymno, the Neratze Mosque, the Rimondi Fountain, the Loggia, the Guora Gate, the Saint Francis Church. As well as tasteful traditional coffee shops and restaurants.
Beaches and other places of interest – The closest sandy beach is 200m away with many fish restaurants across the street. The long sandy organised beach of Rethymno is 1.5 Km away with its numerous water sports is 7 km away. On the South coast of the island you can also discover some of Crete’s most amazing natural beaches such as “Schinaria”, “Damnoni”, “Triopetra”, “Agios Pavlos” and "Preveli". The distance to the South coast from the apartment is about one hour by car and all the above beaches are located near to Plakias village where you can find shops and many taverns.
Many interesting monasteries & ancient monuments are nearby. The historic renaissance monastery of Arkadi is 20 km away. The villages of Eleftherna and Ancient Eleftherna are 23 km away, where a necropolis of the Geometric and Archaic periods can be found together with the new Archaeological Museum of Ancient Eleftherna, the first museum at the archaeological site on Crete, that is well worth visiting. The guest can stroll around the very charming village of Margarites (26km) and enjoy the many pottery studios. Crete is a magical island filled with myth and legend. The residence is a perfect base for exploring the beaches, towns & mountains of both north & south Crete.
