Mabel's Cottageは、湿原の端に位置する楽しい田舎の隠れ家を提供していますが、美しいノースコーニッシュの海岸線からわずか数マイルです。 有名なポートアイザック、ティンタジェル、ボスキャッスルはすべて近くにあり、トレバーウィズストランドの美しいビーチ、キャメルトレイルやセントネクテングレンなどの素晴らしい散歩もあります！
Torを登り、地元の羊、牛、鶏、ポニーに会い、鳥のさえずりを聞いてください。 夏にはツバメが巣を作り、有名なムクドリのつぶやきは10月中旬から春の初めまで1日2回頭上を飛びます。 見るべき本当の光景。

Mabel's Cottage is fabulous. The views of Roughtor over the lake are stunning. The cottage has everything you need and is spotlessly clean. We wish we could have stayed longer to really appreciate it. Hosts, John and Wendy were very helpful and made us feel really welcome. The christmas decorations and the cream tea were lovely touches.Thank you.

Cannot recommend this place enough. If you're hesitating on booking - just do it! The location is incredible, the place is impeccably cleaned, and Wendy and John are the perfect hosts.

Ein wunderbarer Ort mit hervorragender Ausstattung – extrem ruhige Lage und freundliche Vermieter: besser geht es nicht. Die Lage eignet sich sehr für Unternehmungen in der Umgebung. alles in dem Haus ist von hoher Qualität und sehr gemütlich. Wir haben uns ausgesprochen wohl gefühlt.

Fantastisch gelegen met zicht op Bodmin moors. Aangenaam ingericht met veel licht, aangename buitenruimtes en weids zicht. Iets van de kust maar hierdoor weg van de toeristische drukte. Aanrader voor wie op zoek is naar rust en authenticiteit.

Beautiful place to stay, we had a fabulus week there and were sad to leave. The views from the living room are outstanding. If you like walking the moors are minutes away,perfectly located to visit boscastle,Bude and many more. This cottage was so peaceful and quite,inside was immaculate and had everything you need. Easy check in and out, 5 stars don't do it justice.

Schönes Cottage

Sehr schön eingerichtetes Cottage. Küche mit allem was man so braucht. Der Wintergarten hat eine große Couch. Die Aussicht ist phantastisch über einen See zum Berg. Die Eigentümer wohnen vorn im Haupthaus, aber man merkt gar nicht dass jemand da ist. Wenn man etwas braucht sind sie aber sofort da. Das Cottage liegt sehr ruhig und einsam, was uns gut gefallen hat. Man braucht unbedingt ein Auto. Die Straße dorthin ist cornwalltypisch sehr schmal aber wir haben es immer geschafft. Würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Absolutely stunning property, luxury accommodation, the most beautiful cottage we have ever stayed in! Incredible views, breathtaking, the peaceful atmosphere and uninterrupted views, just unbelievably fabulous! The cottage is first class, beautifully furnished, with everything you could possibly need. Wendy and John are the most lovely hosts, so welcoming, and were so helpful with so much local knowledge and helpful tips and advice. Fabulous and well equipped cottage in peaceful location with breathtaking view. (The pictures don’t do it justice!) John and Wendy are wonderful and there to help if you need them. A great base from which to explore Cornwall.

Simply perfect

If you want to experience Cornwall in its most natural form, then you've come to the right place. Even the drive to the apartment is an experience. But the highlight is the view of the lake and the surrounding countryside. A magnificent view directly from the living room. Furthermore, the accommodation is tastefully furnished with great care and is very clean. The very friendly owners, Wendy and John, live right next door and are happy to help with any questions. Overall, a perfect accommodation, and one would give more than 5 stars. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

Perfect tranquility

This cottage is about as good as they get. Absolutely beautifully presented, very clean and comfortable. The ‘sun room’ was an amazing space to enjoy the views and the nature which surrounded us. All you can hear is birds and wildlife. The hosts, John and Wendy live in the farmhouse onsite, but you never see as they respectful and discrete. But if you do need assistance (as we did due to our car braking down and having no transport to return home) they went above and beyond what is expected, for which we are truly thankful. We would recommend this property to anyone who wishes to experience the peace and quiet it offers, and time to get away from life’s rat race! We hope to return in the near future.

Über Mabels Cottage und seine Besitzer ist bereits alles Wichtige geschrieben worden- es ist großartig dort. Eine der allerbesten Home-away Unterkünfte, die wir je hatten. Wenn Sie sich also nach einer aufwendigen Anreise aus zB Deutschland so wie wir auf den Weg nach Cornwall machen, phantastische Natur, Stille, freundliche Begegnungen und eine wunderschöne Unterkunft zu schätzen wissen, werden Sie dort ein kleines Paradies vorfinden. Es fiel uns schwer, abzureisen.

Fantastic stay in Cornwall!

Could not have been better! Cream tea upon arrival. Great communication with hints/recommendations about local places to visit. So much to see locally, including a great hike up nearby Rough Tor. Lovely accommodation so well thought out and maintained. Owners great, too. We loved it!

Perfect Start To Married Life

The most wonderful experience!Wendy and John were the perfect hosts and made us so very welcome.Mabel's Cottage was a pure joy to stay in, it had absolutely everything you could possibly need so cosy and comfortable with nothing but birdsong and farm animals to listen to. So tranquil to sit outside of an evening and just gaze across the lake towards Rough Tor.Perfectly situated to explore the surrounding area.It gave us the perfect holiday after a full on few days previously with our wedding.Would 100% recommend and would definitely return in the future

A great stay!

This is a wonderful little place. Wendy and John are excellent hosts - John even let us feed their sheep. It's a little bit of an adventure down single track lanes to reach the property, but (as with much of Cornwall) the views are worth it. It's well placed for picturesque spots along the coast, as well as a walk up Rough Tor. The new sun room is beautiful and makes an ideal place to wind down, and in good weather the patio and garden space is lovely too. Thank you!

Dream location, holiday apartment with winter garden

The holiday apartment is beautifully located - but a little out of the way. You definitely need a car. The cottage is tastefully and fully equipped. Everything you need is there and it was very clean. Wendy welcomed us with homemade scones and flowers we picked ourselves. John and Wendy let you use their beautiful garden for the duration of your stay, including the terrace with a view of the lake. The winter garden is a beautiful additional room. Wendy and John are extremely friendly and accommodating. I will definitely go there again because I really liked the area. I discovered a new "place to be" for myself there. Fantastic location

Perfect for two people, cottage finished to a high standard and very clean. Location is amazing, private with fantastic unspoilt views from the conservatory, which we were informed is being extended for next year. Lots of places to visit and eat out within easy reach should you want to, or just stay in and enjoy the peace and quiet and relax. We would definitely stay here again, thank you John & Wendy for our week.

Wunderschönes Cottage in herrlicher Lage

Wir haben zahlreiche Wanderungen an der Küste (Costpath) und in der näheren Umgebung (Roughtor) gemacht. Im gemütlichen Cottage mit tollem Ausblick genossen wir die Ruhe.

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

From the minute we saw this 150 year old converted barn we fell in love with it. We really do have the best of both worlds.. from the stunning views over Roughtor, lake and moorland, to the close proximity of the rugged north Cornish coastline with its quaint fishing villages and wonderful surfing beaches.
If it is a peaceful and quiet retreat you are looking for then Mabel's Cottage is the place to be.
We love it here and hope you will too.
