Booking and check-in were simple and fast. Any questions we asked received prompt responses. The apartment is a 2nd floor walk-up with a lot of sun light. The beds were comfortable and shower had pleanty of water pressure. The kitchen was fully stocked. The neighborhood was wonderful, it is a place where Italians live with a smattering or rental units. There are plenty of nearby excellent restaurants. The place across the street is very busy and requires a reservation. The seating was family style. The food was very traditional fair. For a great dining experience I would recommend Volte, it is just up the street on the left, less than 1/2 block. You also need reservations but we were able to get in after a short wait. The steak was perfect as was the pasta and veggies. It is a bit more expensive but worth the cost. The Domo, Uffizzi, and other sites are within walking distance without being overwhelmed by the tourist crowd. If I ever go back to Florence, I would without hesitation stay here again. Valentina maintains a beautiful place. Vivian, who manages the checkin was a great source of information. As the saying goes, location, location, locationAndre
