Over 200 years old, Little Wells (4) is a picturesque detached country cottage in an idyllic rural position in the village of North Creake. Standing in its own delightful cottage gardens surrounded by fields, the outdoor paved patio area to the rear is a wonderful sun trap.
The cottage has been renovated to a high standard by a conservation builder, with many original features retained, including beams and windows, with reclaimed floorboards featuring throughout. This hideaway is a much loved country retreat for the family that own it, and the peaceful location is just perfect for a relaxing holiday. The well-equipped country kitchen with Belfast sink enjoys views of the apple trees in the garden. Leading through to the spacious dining room, the lovely pine table and chairs offered here makes an ideal spot for long grazing breakfasts or evenings spent sharing great food. The beautiful sitting room features a cosy wood burning stove and there is a selection of games to be enjoyed.
Upstairs on the first floor there are two well presented, welcoming bedrooms with en-suite shower rooms. The master bedroom offers a king-size bed, with the second bedroom hosting twin single beds. These bedrooms share a connecting door, but can each be reached by their own staircase.
Outside, the garden is has been curated as a quintessential country cottage garden. Mature hedging and apple trees create an aura of seclusion and privacy with far reaching field views beyond. A paved patio area makes an idyllic spot to sit to enjoy the bird song. Little Wells is only a five minute drive to the bustle of Burnham Market and the North Norfolk beaches. The Jolly Farmers village pub is just a short walk away.
Little Wells (4) is also available to book as a sleeps six option with an accompanying annexe, listed as Little Wells (6).
Additional Information: Two well behaved dogs welcome (small additional charge). There is no starter pack (tea, coffee, sugar and milk) or welcome hamper provided at this property. Travel cot available on request. Please bring your own linen. Please note: Little Wells is a characterful cottage and does have uneven paving outside.
