Very clean and well equipped

This was exactly as advertised plus the benefit of a glorious garden both back and front which is tended by the owners. Everything we needed was provided.

Nice bungalow, very clean and well furnished

Everything was fine, beds were good, bathroom and shower good. Everything very clean and modern. Our only slight problem was the steepness of the drive as my husband has Parkinson's, but the owner was helpful and we managed by being careful. In a good area for being near the city but also very quiet.

Clean, peaceful property, no steps - good accessibility

I stayed here with my elderly Mum who uses a rollator to help her get around. It's a steep push up the drive (where in Sheffield is flat) but no steps to negotiate, just the threshold of the front door. The property is clean, well maintained and cared and fully equipped. Will book again if visiting Sheffield.

Lovely little bungalow

We couldn’t fault this property, everything we needed was supplied plus some unexpected items like cereals for breakfast. Great shower, comfortable bed, and a very pleasant and helpful host.

Absolutely perfect

Couldn’t ask for anything more from the hosts they did everything they could possibly of done to be make sure we had a great night. Place was spotlessly clean, beds were amazingly comfortable & quality was exceptional. Would definitely recommend

Everything we needed!

This was our second stay and it won't be our last. Everything about this property is great. It's really clean and had everything we needed for a weekend visit (and for longer). We were able to cook, to relax and get a great night's sleep ready to get on with our days.

Better than a 5* hotel

Beautifully clean, everything we needed and then some! The shower is brilliant, the bed very comfortable, the kitchen modern and well stocked, with extras. Outside is a lovely private patio area and parking is easy. Thank you Richard and Julia

Perfect property for our stay in Sheffield

Friendly communication from hosts, easy to find, easy to park, easy to access property. Spotlessly clean and well thought out - lots of little touches like bread / milk / hairdryer / toiletries - even an umbrella to borrow. Double bed was really comfortable, shower was amazing and kitchen had absolutely everything you could need. We stayed 3 nights but could happily have stayed longer and will definitely be booking again.

Brilliant Stay As Always

This is Always my 1st choice of accomadation in Sheffield. Richard and Julia are always so welcoming .. Everything as usual in the annex was perfect. I enjoy the daily chats with the hosts and of course their dog Star... She is lovely ... I always enjoy my stay there and will definitely be back to stay with them again on my next trip home to Sheffield...

Renovation escape

The annexe was a brilliant place for us to stay whilst work was done on our own property, it was well equipped and furnished with everything we needed. The hosts were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them

Lovely cottage with ample space and patio!

This delightful cottage is at the back of owner’s home in Sheffield with a lovely panoramic view of Sheffield from the street. Stores/pubs are close and walkable. Downtown Sheffield is a couple miles away. Interior has a very nice amount of space: large bedroom, 2nd smaller bedroom, large bathroom with walk-in shower, lovely living room and adjoining kitchen. There is also a lovely patio just behind sliding doors in bedroom. There is a washer in the kitchen and clothesline available on patio as well. Plenty of room to spread out; why be confined to a hotel room? Also, the placement of the larger bedroom from the living room/kitchen allows for quiet when needed. It’s a great bargain for the area and easy access to the Sheffield area via taxi, bus, or Uber. The hosts are absolutely lovely! Very communicative and able to adjust our access due to us arriving early in the morning from the U.S.A. Highly recommend the hosts and the cottage!

THE BUNGALOW WAS LOVELY JUST AS DESCRIBED - JULIA AND ROBERT WERE EXCELLENT HOSTS AND VERY KIND. THE PROPERTY IS LOVELY AND JULIA 'S ATTENTION TO DETAIL IS SECOND TO NONE. THE BUNGALOW IS SPOTLESS WITH EVERYTHING YOU COULD WISH FOR. I DID NOT COOK BUT THERE IS EVERYTHING THERE THAT YOU WOULD NEED. BEDDING AND BED VERY COMFORTABLE. THE BUNGALOW IS NEAR ALL FACILITIES AND YOU CAN TRAVEL TO LOCAL PLACES ON PUBLIC TRANSPORT EASILY JUST CHECK THE TIME TABLE. SHOPS ARE NEARBY AND OTHER LOCAL SHOPS. COVID PRECAUTIONS ALL IN PLACE - VERY PEACEFUL AND QUIET LOCATION linda hoad

Absolutely Perfect!!

Richard and Julia were the perfect host.. Even before I arrived, they were in contact with me to confirm and see if there was any assistance needed for my arrival. Warm friendly greeting once I arrived and lovely conversation that made you feel like you were staying with friends... The property was perfect. It was in a good location for me traveling around sheffield to see friends and family. They provided everything that I could, would, and did need during my stay. The annexe itself was beautiful.. lovely colors and great design.. comfortable bed!!! which is a concern of mine when I travel. The shower in bathroom was fabulous and perfect.. especially since I am5'11. I would definitely book with them again.. in a heartbeat... in fact would changed dates of travel if had to just to be able to book with them. They checked in with me daily if they saw me to ensure everything was okay and to see of there was anything needed....As I labeled this review, everything was absolutely perfect... Great job as host Richard and Julia along with Star and Comet!!! See you soon on my next trip to Sheffield... hopefully longer next time.xxxx

Ladybower fishing

We wanted somewhere close to Ladybower reservoir, and this olace was oerfect. The bungalow was absolutely spotless and equipped to a very high standard, with fabulous beds and bedding in a quiet area. Super friendly host, I would highly recommend.

Excellent accommodation

Apartment is situated in a beautiful garden with easy access and a private patio. It is beautifully appointed and furnished and has every modern convenience you could ask for. No effort has been spared by the owner to ensure comfort and convenience. The kitchen was stocked with staple items as well as fresh milk, bread and butter, to ensure an easy start to one's stay. There is parking on the street and easy access to bus routes. The host was friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay there again.
