The chalet was well equipped and comfortable. Ideal location for the nearby beach and exploring the surrounding areas. First time visiting Pembrokeshire and will definitely be back. Thank you for a great time.

Thank you for a lovely review, and being a pleasure to host
.
We stayed in the chalet for one night as we were exploring many areas in Pembrokeshire. The accommodation was clean and well-equipped, and it was a quiet, relaxing location.

Perfect guests! Took great care of our chalet, would highly recommend to other hosts.
This is a great little base, priced fairly. You can walk to freshwater east beach from the house, the estate was peaceful through our stay, and we look forward to coming again

Brilliant weekend plus lovely surroundings and scenery!
Lovely stay, weather was mild still loved the beach! Still plenty of opportunities to try out given the get up and go type! Really nice accommodation, with everything needed to survive there a fortnight!

So glad you enjoyed your stay. Pembrokeshire has so much to offer, so many beautiful beaches, surfing, paddle boarding, climbing and more. Hope you get a chance to visit us again.
A clean,we lcoming and cosy, two storey chalet. Weather wasn't the best but the beach is so close we managed to get a few walks inbetween the showers. The chalet had everything we needed for a cosy night in, cooked a lovely meal and shared a glass of wine in front of the fire. Not our first trip to this area and certainly won't be the last, already looking at rebooking for this season, with this great host.

So pleased, that you managed to have a lovely time, despite the awful weather. Always a pleasure to host great guests, and welcome back every time!
We have stayed in Penny's lovely properties in Trewent Park many times, and always have a fabulous stay. Le Chalet is lovely - clean, comfortable and well-equipped and worked perfectly for our family. We love being so close to the beach and being within a short drive of so many beautiful spots, as well as being right on the coastal path - handy for walks with wonderful views in either direction. Penny is a fantastic friendly host, answering queries promptly and providing thoughtful extra touches at the property. Thanks again Penny, we will be back!
The chalet is in a prime location on this small, peaceful site, located a short few steps from the fabulous beach.
The chalet was very clean, kitted out really well and even had first class wi fi.
The owner was great to deal with, and the whole experience hassle free.
We had a lovely weekend break, meeting family who had rented chalets nearby.
Will not hesitate to book again if it is free.
And at a very reasonable price.
Many thanks

Thank you for such a good overview of Le Chalet and the locality. I would happily host you again, given the opportunity!
We love coming here, this is our third time. The house is clean and nice to be in. The estate is generally quiet at night. Freshwater east beach is nice, A little stony but good if you wear water shoes and enjoy paddle boarding. If you like to hike there is a path to stackpole from the bottom of the estate
The pub onsite is nice enough but a bit pricy - if you want an early morning cooked breakfast we found the potting shed in manorbier opens at 9am and is nice too.
The drive to stackpole quay is only a few minutes and if you have National trust it covers you for parking all day.
Paddle boarding there is great and you can paddle from the quay to barafundle bay for an adventure and see the Cliff and caves.
Kids love the Chalet and enjoy the grass hill to the rear. Thanks for another great holiday Penny :)
Host was quick and efficient with communication. Info was accurate and property was well stocked and 2 mins walk from the beach. Perfect for a couple of days break.
The chalet is beautifully laid out and everything you need is there, great communication with the owner penny, a beautiful place to stay with the beach and surrounding views all in all a 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐rating 👍
Penny was amazing in the booking of this property. With a glitch paying through PayPal initially (Vrbo’s issue) Penny blocked the dates out for us until I paid via card. She added an extra night for us promptly after we decided to add a day on to our visit. The communication was fantastic from start to finish with Penny letting me know that the cleaner wasn’t expected until 1.5 hours after our check out time which really relieved the pressure of getting packed up and out with 2 toddlers! Couldn’t fault anything within the property there was everything we needed including black out blind for the little ones, comfy beds and a travel cot put up ready for us.
Penny advised us of local attractions and her obvious love for the area shone through in the decoration of the property. A really lovely stay and would highly recommend to anyone with children. It’s small but not too small, functional and everything you need for a base to explore the beautiful area.
Many thanks again for all your help Penny.
From the moment of booking Penny, our host, did her utmost to accommodate us. We were even able to check in early to give us a few extra much needed hours away. We love the beach here and were pleasantly surprised when entering the property. Clean, tidy, with all you need for your stay. The kitchen was well equipped, the welcome pack was an unexpected treat as we only booked for 2 nights. The bed was really comfortable too.
The chalet offers a comfortable and homely base for any holiday, and Penny was so friendly and helpful. We hope to return again when circumstances allow.
This chalet is beautifully furnished and decorated. Bed was comfortable and the Welcome Box a nice touch. The position of the Chalet on a very well kept Park is ideal for the Beach and visiting the surrounding countryside. We would be very happy to stay here again.
This chalet is in a prime spot, very cosy and feels like home from home, its so well equipped with all the basics. Following a family holiday, I returned with a friend to walk the coastal path and to engage in my hobby, photography. Its a beautiful area and so peaceful. Will definately return again and can highly recommend. A beautiful beach is at the end of the drive and the chalet is well situated, as a great base to explore Pembrokeshire.
The chalet was in a great location on the park and such a short walk from a beautiful beach, an idyllic place to stay. Food great on the park, Jacks at the Longhouse made great pizza and Sunday roast, the chalet kitchen was also really well equipped, for self catering. Chalet was sparkling clean, all beds including sofa bed were really comfy, the chalet is compact for a family of five but after a caravan holiday last year it was huge! and much better value. Kids were happy with the internet as it was free and fast. We had a great time when I wasn't working, exploring Pembrokeshire, in all good value and a great place to stay, autumn colours were beautiful along the coastline we hope to return to see the area in summer. Happily recommend to other families.
We rented this as it stated that it sleeps five.
The truth is -it shoulonly sleep three, the excuse of a sofa downstairs saggs in the middle so badly ,it is torture for one person to sleep onto..
Another reason for choosing this property was the fact that it has a washing machine. Missled again - first try, and the beach stuff came out with more sand and water than in went in with; fool enough to try it with some clothes - they came out with same stains, some sand and full of water!
Another negative point -there are no bath towels provided- these can be obtained at extra cost(not clearly advertised), only been provided with one hand towel for the bathroom and 3 kitchen towels.
Also there is a very strong smell of mould - mostly downstais. It clears after ventilation- but does not dissapear and seems to have installed in my childrens soft toys!
The positives - Penny is very friendly and helpfull, and the beach nearby is wondful!

Carmen I would imagine that sleeping arrangements were difficult as you arrived with extra guest and the chalet does only have a double bed, a sofa bed and a single bed? It sleeps 5. I am sorry that you feel that the chalet description does not explain that bath and beach towels are not provided but it does state this and additional check in information is sent to all guests prior to arrival.
I explained that I could arrange for bath and beach and additional towels locally at an extra charge. You were informed prior to arrival and given the option to bring your own.
I feel that I was more than fair in accommodating your extra guest and assisting you with your demands during your stay. I am saddened to read that you only feel that the property was with a one star but hope you find something more suitable to your needs on your next holiday.
The chalet was perfect. It had everything we needed for our stay. It was lovely and clean and the location is perfect. The beach is beautiful only a short walk away. The longhouse is a great place to eat and drink and is very relaxed and friendly. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family. Thanks Penny for being so accommodating we couldn’t have asked for anything more. Will definitely be booking to stay here again .

I am glad you enjoyed the holiday! I look forward to hosting your family on another trip. Pembrokeshire is so beautiful, many guests return time and time again, every season has something to offer.
The property was dated . White blinds in bedroom so could see light from outside in the dark . The owner bought us a travel blind . The oven was very dirty and we could not get it to work . Leak on back wall which we were made aware of . We did everything to make sure that didn’t get worse and didn’t use it . I moved the sofa one night to retrieve a spider to find dust , food and a child’s jigsaw . I left a note about the oven then received many messages regarding the state of the fridge , microwave and bedding ! And an odd message about a full refund last year ( I have never used this owner , and never had a full refund ? )All Totally untrue !! I wasn’t going to mention about the sofa , the leak or even the blinds as owner rectified at time . After the messages on returning home I thought I better warn others . Love Pembrokeshire and would return but I would avoid this owner ! The anchor in Tenby has fabulous mussels . The boat trip to see the seals is also fantastic ! Freshwater East perfect as usual ! The cafe at Angle beach is also a great place for lunch or coffee !

I am pleased that you enjoyed the holiday in Wales. Many thanks for leaving the chalet in such a clean and presentable condition.

Unfortunately previous had heavily marked wall on stairs which had to be painted prior to arrival. Although aired the smell of new painted walls does linger. However the site is a holiday and as all requires on going maintenance throughout the season this is beyond the owners control.
