Situated on the third floor (no lift) of a historic building typical of the Oltrarno area, just steps away from the city center yet easily accessible by car, this apartment offers exceptional acoustic insulation, thanks to the nearby BOBOLI GARDENS, shielding it from the city's noise.

The apartment spans 100 square meters, with a modern layout that includes two double bedrooms, a welcoming entrance hall, and a spacious, bright open-plan living and dining area. Additionally, there is a sofa bed in the living room that accommodates two extra guests. The apartment features a fully equipped, modern kitchen, a bathroom with a shower/tub, and an ensuite bathroom with a shower.

Recently furnished by the owner with meticulous attention to detail, each room is equipped with air conditioning and a flat-screen television. The lighting and designer furniture choices reflect the owner's personal taste and passion for architecture and design. Local craftsmen have contributed to making this apartment truly unique. We really felt immersed in Florence in this apartment - it was wonderfully spacious and our family of 4 made ourselves right at home. Would absolutely recommend this place to others. It has a couple oddities but they were more charming than anything. The staff were so wonderful - I appreciated the check in greeting and brief walk through of the apartment and their quick response times with question (including some needed local advice). Thank you!

Excellent! Andrea was very accessible and helpful throughout our stay - from the days leading up until after we left. The apartment was terrific - very well appointed and comfortable. Spacious, nice beds, bathrooms, and kitchen were all great! The location is perfect - close enough to the Ponte Vechio but also far enough away from the tourists. Perfect! I would return and also recommend!

This apartment was truly our home away from home, you couldn’t ask for a better location! Right next to the Pitti Palace, a taxi stop, extremely walkable to the Ponte Vecchio and across the bridge for shopping and tours. Within one minute great restaurants, bakery, only five minutes to a small grocery. Our two older teens and my husband and I enjoyed this unit immensely! Communication with the host was wonderful, the kitchen was great and just what we needed. The very tiny shower in the master bedroom is unique I will say! But we made do, and the other bathroom worked great for my husband and my two daughters. The decor and the ambience of this unit is so incredibly unique and beautiful! We used the washer many times, very easy to use and line dried on the balcony. The three flights of stairs were a lot at the end of the day, but very doable! I would stay here again and again highly recommend!

Large place. Washrooms ad usual are the only issue. There is a strange window looking into the one shower at an awkward location. Also you have to be under 5'8" to use the shower in the smaller bathroom. Location is fantastic and everything else was great

The apartment was exactly as pictured; beautiful and spacious. The location is great, if you take a right out of the apartment the Pitti Palace is right next door. Continue down the street and you arrive at the Ponte Vecchio bridge. In between there are plenty of restaurants, stores and gelato. If you take a left and a right you are in piazza Santo Spritio with more restaurants. There is a grocery store to the left about 5 minutes away. The location is great! The host was very helpful and responded quickly. I would have given it all 5 stars but I didn't care for the late charge for checking in after 7pm. It was probably listed somewhere on the site but I didn't appreciate the extra charge. Besides that everything else was perfect.

We actually stayed in the apartment next door as this one apparently had a leak. Great location near Ponte Vecchio and accommodations were just what we needed. I will note that the bed in our actual apartment was very hard and I slept on the couch the second night. Other than that, a lovely building and assuming our original apartment would have been great too!

Great sized apartment

Cons - only one shower was really working well. Pros - everything else. good location, a few flights of stairs may be difficult with a lot of luggage. But the size of the living room, just great. It allowed the teenagers to not be on top of each other and have some room to spread out.

The location is terrific, the apartment spacious and well decorated. However, upon our arrival we encountered various problems: first a cockroach situation with multiple roaches in the kitchen and even in the sofa bed. Management indicated that this is a seasonal problem and the insects probably entered the unit through the drains after a recent fumigation. The AC unit of the main did not function properly even after we notified management and they came to fix it. I have stayed with VRBO for many years and this is the first time that I have encountered roaches. Hard to stomach for such a pricey property.

This 2nd floor appt is just perfect. Cozy, comfortable and great for a family of 4. Communication was good, helpful, in person check in. Location was great. Close to everything but far enough away from the city center. My boys loved this place. Was a little cautious from previous reviews but had no issues and was a great visit!

Wonderful Time in Florence

We really enjoyed our stay in this apartment in Florence. The apartment feels nice and homey. There were a few too many references to New York for my taste, but that was easily forgiven. The location was amazing and the apartment easily accessible. I'm a big guy, but the stairs are wide and didn't feel like too much of a burden.As mentioned by others, the one bathroom is a little odd and the "upper" shower is little bit short if your tall but I was OK at 5' 11". The tub shower has a slant because it's really meant to be a tub so takes some getting used to.We waited longer than we should have to try the pizza place downstairs. They were very nice and the food was good.

Excellent flat great location!

The property was as described and suited us perfectly. We knew it would be close to many of the sights we wanted to see but we had no idea the neighborhood would have so many great restaurant and shops! Highly recommend!!

Lovely place.

We loved the location a bit away from the crowds. The interior is well above normal for apartment rentals in Florence. Everything worked, check in and out was easy. The only knock is the second bathroom which is quirky at best. We would stay there again and recommend it to others.

Excellent apartment and location, terrible communication

TL;DR It’s a lovely and comfortable apartment in a great location, but the hosting by SweetStay leaves much to be desired. As to the most recent review where a guest alleges that their wallet was stolen while staying there, and that it was an inside job, I was eventually told by the person who checked us in that these people did not actually lock the door with a key when they left, they simply let it latch behind them, which makes it very easy for anyone to enter with a simple tool or credit card. In Italy all locks are very strong, with long bolts that have to be turned multiple times to secure, both from the inside and outside. I was also told by the management in a message that they had changed the lock out of an abundance of caution, and indeed I could see that the lock was new and it seemed very secure. In addition to 4 bolts across the lock area, there is a bar that goes into the ceiling and floor when you engage the lock. We felt very secure inside, and also felt safe leaving our belongings there. That being said, I will agree with the same reviewer that communication with the host (agency) is absolutely terrible. We never received any sort of check-in instructions and I was messaging them up to the very moment of check-in for instructions on how to enter. The phone number is indeed a fax machine. Multiple messages went unanswered and there was never any follow up to see if everything was ok. If the real owner of the apartment reads this, I recommend new management.

Do not stay here: Inside job - THEFT

We were so excited to find this place, but warn you NOT to stay here. Someone entered with a key while we were out, fished through all our belongings, stole my wallet and some other small items. The host did not respond to our texts for almost 24 hours, and was entirely skeptical of our situation and did NOTHING to help us. Also, the host's phone number was connected to a fax machine. We were on our own to deal with police in a foreign language and VRBO customer service continues to leave our issue unresolved. We felt unsafe and transferred to a hotel at our own expense. Two weeks later, still no word from host and VRBO is still "investigating."

Really enjoyed

The apartment is beautiful, the location is very very nice. Not so busy, relative to Firenze but central, a minute walk to Palazzo Pitti. Things to be aware of which were mentioned already in many reviews; 1. its a second floor with no lift. Just like many properties of such type. 2. Keys, entrance is not an issue at all despite some reviews. 3. Online check-in process is fine. Assume if one does it while traveling i can see how it is a bit annoying. You may want to allow people to do it from comfort of their home before leaving on holiday. 4. Someone came to show us around and was very helpful and nice. 5. Perfect for 4 people, for 6 guests you'd need to use the living room/folding bed. It is specious but obviously a tad less comfortable. 6. Although we havent used the kitchen it is a bit poorly equipped especially for 4-6 people cooking.

Very good location, large comfortable apartman, The check-in was organized well, the staff was kind and helpful. The Guest service was available, but unfortunatelly the problem of the wrong central heating had not been solved at all.

Excellent property in Florence

We absolutely loved our stay at this location in Florence. It is on the other side of the river which is a little quieter. The master bedroom is quiet but the front rooms do hear the street traffic. We overall loved this quaint apartment.

Fantastic Home Base

Our family of four stayed in this apartment for 5 nights, it was fantastic. We cannot say enough. It was in a perfect location and was wonderful to come home to after a day of sightseeing etc. When we go back, we will definitely book in again!!!
