Magnificent views and constant breeze from this condo in #1 all exclusive resort
About robert wason
It had been a goal of mine for decades to find a beautiful spot in the Caribbean that I would never want to leave. And I finally made it happen! While specifically at Pt. Pleasant Resort on vacation to find something in the Resort, we were fortunate to have B18 come on the market the day we started looking. After being shown inside the unit we were blown away by the views. All the recently purchased new furniture was an added bonus. Needless to say we made an offer that afternoon that was accepted and the rest is history. I hope you will enjoy it as much as we have!
robert wason purchased this Condo in 2014
Why robert wason chose Estate Smith Bay
The combination of magnificent views, privacy of the deck and new decor made this one of the best condos on the best Resort on the island, so it was a must to purchase. I enhanced the decor with the beautiful mahogany screen that will, when you want privacy, cover the 28 feet of glass wall permitting the awesome views. Many coats of paint finished off the look to make this place warrant a 5 Star rating from all who have stayed.

Great stay with fantastic views of Water Bay.
This is a beautiful property with an amazing view. It has great location away from town, yet close to Red Hook. I would definitely rent again.
Point Pleasant is a very nice community
B18 is as described by the owner. Does need some basic cosmetic work such as tile replaced in bedroom but does not take away from the unit or your stay. The views are fantastic along with the resort staff. Couldn't ask for nicer individuals to assist you with questions about things to do or see or help you get a taxi.
Sugar beech is private but small. I walked over to Coki beech which is a 10 minute walk. Coki beech was my favorite...snorkeled and dived there. Go to Coki dive shop at end of beech where Peter is the owner who is very nice and will help you no matter what your experience is.
Great place! The condo met all our needs and had the most amazing views. We enjoyed our morning tea on the balcony, and evening wine while the sun set. The bedroom is separated from the living room by louvre doors so this is not the place to go if you want privacy but the 4 of us we were very comfortable and had a great stay there.
A quick walk to Coki beach and short drive to Redhook where there are lots of great places to eat. Get your groceries at Moe's!
Point Pleasant has an upscale restaurant, Mirador, and the casual Shoreline. We went to the later a few times and loved it! It's right over the beautiful blue water and you can see loads of tarpin fish swimming around as you dine. What can top that! The mussels were SO good!
There are two really nice pools too, and you can walk over to Margaritaville if you like a bigger bar.
Robert was very responsive to any questions we had before and during our stay. My husband left his computer there and didn't realize it until we were were boarding the plane for home. Bernadette, the housekeeper was terrific and mailed it back quickly! I would definitely recommend this place!
Awesome views, great location, very nice resort
Great Location, Very clean and nice place to stay. we had an awesome time !
Great view and Location
Overall this was a great trip. The view from this unit is fantastic and the onsite amenities are great. It is also very close to Red Hook and Sapphire beach. The only reason I didn't give it 5 starts is because the unit is in desperate need of updating. The closet doors and screen doors hardly work and the furniture in general is dated. The cups, plates and utensils could also stand to be updated. Additionally, the floor is cracked and buckled in many places. Some basic upgrades would go a long way especially at this price point.
All of the furniture was purchased brand new in 2015 and recovered in 2017, including the king-size bed. Repairs are made when brought to my attention, such as screen doors which receive hard use.
A view you cannot forget!
An absolutely excellent location that is within your grasp! This is for the traveler who understands you are staying in someone's rental property/home, not a hotel. Great place to cook a few meals, relax on the balcony and get in/stay in shape walking the hills! The local property manager is available for any issues you encounter. We had a problem with the air conditioner, and within an hour she had someone on their way to fix it. The safe in the room was left "locked" by the prior guest, and she called a locksmith to remedy the problem. The manager and owner made every effort to make our stay very comfortable.
We chose this location because it had multiple pools, was on the East side close to Red Hook, ferries, grocery store, shops, restaurants, and beaches. There is a great restaurant on site, "Shoreline", where we never had a bad meal! Shout out to their staff, Amber in particular. The taxi drivers are very prompt. We went just about everywhere on the east side for about $5 pp. We ordered a private taxi to and from the airport to avoid delays, which cost around $90. For your departure, you need to be at the airport 3 hour ahead of time. No kidding. We also suggest you "pay as you go" at Coki beach and do not leave until you visit St John. You will leave with phenominal memories!
